Moe Kelly Speaks

Just a little note here. As you can see we updated the template of this particular blog, as we've done with each of the others at one period or another.  Suddenly "Retro" is no longer Retro.  But they did inform me that they would save the old template if I ever wanted to go back to it.  I was kind of looking for a color scheme we haven't done before.  Of course now and then I like to update you people on aspects of my personal life, to the extent that I think it's appropriate.

There is an abondance of material to discuss this morning but let's start with the defacing of the Jackie Robinson status in New York.  Apparently it's a statue of Jackie Robinson with Peewee Rees.  I remember that name from the Abott and Costello skit.  He was a guy who stood up for Jackie when few people would.  Jackie Robinson is the Barock Obama of his time, facing many of the same things, only much worse, than this President has had to face.  Apparently - - baseball teams that the Brooklyn Dodgers played threatened not to engage the Dodgers in play but would rather forfeit the game when play with a Black man on the field.  Some of Robinson's fellow beastie team mates didn't even want to play with Robinson.  This is a man who had an uphill climb from the git go and a lot of things were against him and his carrier could have been derailed by any number of things you or I wouldn't have to think about twice.  Obviously the open racism of society has been a whole lot more apparent these past few years.  Whether the original tea party movement was spawned by racists- - is an open question.  I honestly didn't think race was a factor in the original tea party movement in the spring of 2009, but it sure is now.  As one or more KTLK hosts have put it- - formerly we were taught to fear the Islamic extremists- - and that made sense because they were a threat.  When they said, like Helen used to from around here, that President Clinton was a philandering, pot smoking draft dodger- - I agreed with them because he WAS all those things.  But when some Arizona group last week ( ) calls President Obama a "half white Moslem" - - along with all the born in Keyna stuff they usually thrown in for free, you know they are nuts.  Clearly they can't fault President Obama on the economy.  Clearly they can't fault him on sloth about terrorism, because the President has these areas well in hand.  In fact now the right is flip flopping and criticizing this President FOR - - closing down the embassies.  Have you noticed that?  Any time this Preszident does something Right now- - they get after him for THAT.  Like when he decided to wait a year before the Employer health coverage mandate- - suddenly all of these right wingers- - who hated Obama Care to begin with- - say "This is the worst thing the President could have done because it will raise the deficet".  You can't win for losing.  And it was pointed out that Fred Goldman, the other "father of a victim" in a court case- - was really "In your Face" about it- - on the media expressing his oppinion.  Yet you didn't see Black organizations saying "Fred Goldman should be kept off the air' or that "Fred Goldman doesn't have a right to say these things".  And other Presidents besides Obama have weighed in on Court cases, as we pointed out with George HW Bush on the Rodney King case.  Now it seems that Bush "41" has expressed shock at the Trayvon verdict today.  So people do side with sanity occasionally.  But the right wants to re-define the rules of the game all of a sudden, holding up- - this President to etherial standards we have never demanded of any President.

We now come to Mitt Romney's statements today.  I was leary when Moe Kelly first said he agreed with "Former Governor Mitt Romney" on something.  It seems that etiquette dictates that you refer to an individual by the previous highest position they held.  In this spirit, Hillary Clinton would be referred to as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, because that takes precednce over the designations of either "First Lady" or "Governor".  In the same spirit it apparently is better to refer to Romney as "Governor Romney" rather than "Former Candidate Romney".   Any how Mittens has stated that "Many of the fears he had about what would happen if President Obama got another term- - have come to pass" and nobody knows what that means, and apparently Mittens ordered the room swept for bugging devices before he spoke to a select group.  But Mittens also said that it would be a mistake for the Republicans to attempt to shut down the government, and although Romney dislikes the Affordable Care Act, there are provisions of that act that would kick in even IF the government were shut down by this House.  So occasionally Republicans who have been in the shadows for a while, emerge only to make a "sane" statement that dismays their comtemporaries.  This only goes to show how swiftly those perverbial "goal posts" are being moved and what was considered insane behavior only yesterday is considered Main Stream today.  There are other "Grim Facts" to quote an AC song, that those on the right should keep in mind.  For instance two thirds of the Welfare Mothers are White.  And that White illigitimacy is growing faster than Black single mothers.  Also some of the worst offenders are "the usual suspects" like Arkansas, Mississippi, and West Virginia, not exactly refuges of ghetto activity.  Moe Kelly pointed out that sometimes candidates are perhaps forced to act Insane to get the Republican nomination, and afterward, they aren't under that same constraint, like a military high ranking official who is retired now.  I guess the addage is true that "You should listen to the wisdom of your Elders".

And now for the desert portion we have a little Cosmic stuff to top off your day.  Today the Romulans on Regelus V or basically the head planet of the Romulan Empire- - they have just caught up to the Cleveland women's bondage story.  Unlike their beasty fellow travelers on Sirius A - - the utterly hanious nature of this crime was pointed out and that Romulans haven't tollerated this type of Bondage for a long time, since their experience with Alcyonne a thousand years ago.  There is still a lot of talk in the Federation about kicking the Eagles out of the ZAC Tarrot Cannon - - because Dardanians don't believe "the Eagles reflect us".  Joe Walsh and Timothy Schmidt or whoever are both "Doobies".  Actually Walsh is a Doobie - - but Schmidt is worse.  He is a non Edomized Centaurian B.  Of the two then it's Walsh and not Schmidt who has slightly better cosmic credentials.  Glen Fry has Andromeda D roots.  But of course Romulan purists like to talk about the horror of "Human-Animal hybreds".  Apparently the other two were supposed to get a Cosmic Report but it got misplaced.  I just might remind people once again that no matter your Cosmic overlord ship down here on earth such as with your music carriers- - you may have "Contractual Obligations" elsewhere when you die.  Sometimes as we have said- - as in the case of electron swiping in chemistry- - a strong entity will just snatch one from a weaker entity that "can't hold on to them".  This was the case with Richi Valenz when the Romulans "stole him back" from the Sirius O people.  Some of you may wonder "What's his motive in saying all these things".  Well I see myself as more of a conduit or reporter- - just as I also report a lot of things that go on with liberal talk radio that some of you may not have heard.

This is Wednesday August 7, 2013 and about the only real news of the day is this latest Mayor Phillman revelation where yet two more women came forward to lodge sexual hassassment changes- numbers 12 and 13.  Strangely both women were in the military and had successful carriers.  Phillman when he was a Congressman headed up some committee that actually studied sexual harassment in the military.  So they came to him for help but instead this seventy year old “dirty old man” became part of the problem.  He would crowd them out on the sofa violating a woman’s “space” in an inappropriate manner.  I don’t see why House members should even draw a pension.  They should get paid for just their time served, and then go back to their regular jobs.  I think in the senate maybe they should institute a rule of “You get three years of pension for every six year term”.  In both cases this would provide an incentive for members to be on constant good behavior and not leave only to become a lobbyist.  Indeed it seems that Congress has amounted to little more than being a lobbyist in training.  David Cruise made this his four o clock topic.  As Clinton would put it “These Congressmen really have to have a lot of brass to get away what they get away with”.   You know- - these things Judy sends me are always talking about government perks and expense accounts- - - and Michelle Obama is alledged to have some vast “secret income” that doesn’t even face taxation.

You know that for this or any President who travels as much as he does, the “Campaigner in chief” as Rush might put it, that there is an enormous amount of security preporations- to go anywhere.  President Obama stayed here in the LA area last night.  He sure seems to make a lot of visits out here.  President Obama today had no public appearances but did make a speech to the troops at Camp Penalton.  President Obama has been on the Tonight show with Jay Leno at least five or six times, maybe more.  President Obama wants to make it clear the security threat from Al Qaeda we face now.  Ymping Yimini, it’s the Yemeni problem.  People say that “Al Qaeda is not weaker now- - it’s just de centralized and mutated and gotten more dangerous”, like a disease.  President Obama canceled peace talks with Vladamir Putin.  The President also has disagreements with the Soviets over Syria and on human right’s issues.  It is a crime to even advocate for homosexual rights in any way in Russia.  Contrary to what I’d heard, the Soviets will NOT be suspending these anti gay laws for the winter Olympics.

In the morning Stephanie was talking about those letters to networks by Reins Previs.  It was pointed out that the proposed NBC movie hasn’t even been written yet.  And it could well be that is Monica and Paula and company are mentioned much, the Clinton people themselves might want to keep it off the air.  But the idea of threatening NBC is silly considering how much free air time shows like Meet the Press gives these republicans.  It is also noted that while the network share of viewing has dropped- - they are still about the most watched.  We had oatmeal for breakfast and I got a second bowl.  I got toast and butter and two jellies from David, and then got more toast and butter and jelly along with my fried egg.  I brewed my last pot of coffee in the morning- - and if I don’t give the coffee maker a good cleaning with an appropriate substance, it will eventually become inoperable.  Janet surprised me- - offering me coffee after nine- - so I went to Stanley’s room downstairs and got his plate and lidded cup, and went to Janet’s and got the stuff for him which I took down, and then Janet gave me a strawberry filled sweet roll and coffee.  Mario was on again.  People from the “other side” were saying “He must be a Romulan because he has a Paccoima accent”.    Well he is from Long Beach, which is just as good.  He says the breakwater in Long Beach was put up as a specific defense after Pearl Harbor.  Mario says that due to global warming the waves in Long Beach are bigger now.  Apparently Iceland lost 907% of its ice last summer and that has never happened before.  2012 was the hottest year on the planet.  But just to correct the bit about melting Greenland ice, it doesn’t affect hurricanes here.  What it affects is the European climate because it breaks up the “warm water conveyor belt”.  But Mario’s point is well taken that “Even if we turn out to be wrong- - the actions are prudent measures- - even if it should (happily) turn out we have more time than we think”.   Romulans of course love demolition.  And so in the Sirius A and 0 papers today they had coverage of the demolition of that house of horrors in Cleveland.  However some aspects of the coverage were a little tactless as they referred to the justification for the demolition as “political correctness of the Obama administration”.   Google Maps even took the step of immediately blurring the house.  Radio jocks on Sirius made jokes about this too “Gee- - I can’t locate the house where all of the sexual horrors occurred- - - “ “Oh- there it is- Google made it easy to locate because they blurred it”.

I learned that Hal Blane - - that famous sixties session drummer, is a Leonoran.  And contrary to the Wickipedia article- - Hal Blane indeed drums on “California Girls”, even though the song wasn’t listed.  Blane did drumming for both Frank and Nancy Sinatra.  However I failed to find any conformation that he did any drumming for the Turtles.  John Lennon was incorrect when he said in April that "Happy Together" was the first Turtles hit with the Leonorans.  That honor goes to "You, Baby".  Apparently there is some musician in 1966 that John Lennon didn't like, so he left the group.  As you may know the middle Beach Boys era goes from “Dance, Dance, Dance” to “Good Vibrations”.  These songs inclusive, though not made under Reigel Sixer ownership- - still Reigel VI promoted these songs.  It’s hard to say who profited more from this- - Reigel VI or the Beach Boys.  But when the “Smiley Smile” album was in the pipeline - - the Sixers said “No way are we promoting that!”   Also in response to the “pigs” remark- - the Sixers issued a statement saying merely “Reigel VI has always prided itself in pursuing musical excellence”.  Mal Evans also reminded me that Dennis Wilson fared a lot better under Reigel VI management.   However it was Carl Wilson who made the remark that “It got to the point where the rest of us got to feeling like Brian Wilson’s hired musicians”.  It was Carl who sang on the song “Where Do Bad Folks Go When they Die” in a “pre death” appearance on Sirius A - - on what we call the “Vatican City” album of April of 1995 - - which borrows a lot from the New York City Nirvana Live album- - and Kurt Cobain plays guitar on a lot of the tracks.   Carl does vocal on at least two other “pre death” songs.

We had some kind of yukky hash for lunch- - that I put taco sauce to make the thing at least vaguely pallitable.  We had cantaloupe for desert, and chicken soup.  I’d like to reference the little exchange between Nicole and Father Eric today.  Nicole just reminded me of something ELSE I don’t like about pastors in general.  They butt into areas of people’s lives where they weren’t asked.  Eric had no business acting so possessive over someone elses’ life.  Nicole perhaps out of spite had to “slut herself up” bragging about all the various men she’s been with.  Eric deserved that.  Also in defense of Nicole- - there is something else about Priests and the like that troubles me.  It’s this idea of “confessions” being “secret”.  Worse is this idea that someone into slander is going to pull the Priest aside and “Let me give you the real low-down on so and so” and attempt to prejudice the Priest’s opinion.  This whole idea of “poisoning the water” is something the clergy in general is really tone deaf about.  Rather than go after Nicole for her morals- - why don’t you call Will Horton in for a little chat about his sexual proclivities.  And just what is it about Christine where all men think she’s some kind of a Saint?  Why in God’s green earth would Father Eric trust Christine about ANYTHING.  Virtually every word out of her mouth is a lie- - and she’s manipulative and abusive, and sneaks into people’s quarters uninvited.  But even worse than Father Eric is that white haired guy.  Talk about a guy completely “Out to lunch”.  He trusts Christine implicitly.  Talk about “enabelers” he can fight with Brady over who gets the first prize trophy on that one.  I still can’t get over that really hurtful remark he said to Nicole.  She had been close to Daniel and they’d been sexually intimate.  But now Daniel was trying to decide between the slut Clowie- - or Miss Goody Two-shoes Jennifer, who by the way is also a first class “Enabeler”.  This priest said to Nicole, “Have you ever stopped to think that all of this is None of your Business”.  I would have said at that point “You know - Christianity is none of my business.  I don’t know why the hell came here today- - I really need my head examined”.

This morning I finally changed the calendar page to August.  Yesterday was the new moon and I guess we are officially out of the month of Romadon.  I heard my name to go down and see Dr. Messina this afternoon around two.  The two people ahead of me in line were in there a long time- - at least five or six minutes apiece.   I wasn’t in there anywhere near that long.  I just gave a rosey report on things around here and that I was gaining weight and was cutting down on coffee.  I noted that I get on well with the staff.  He seemed pleased and just added that “If you ever feel you are slipping into depression, let me know”.  After this I went to the court yard for afternoon coffee.  Then I went out to the liquor store and got John Black grapes.  There are a couple of calls that Randy Rhodes fielded today I would have handled a little more tactfully.  I believe in letting a person speak their peace, and ask questioned not for purposes of political rhetoric but just try to get the person himself to explore his own thought processes.

I called Mom and the 99¢ card still worked after all these months.  I had sixteen minutes.  Now Mom has lost maybe six or seven pounds she’s been wanting to take off, and her blood pressure has ranged from 120 to 130.  Just how the hell do you go from 190 to 120 in such a short time?  She still sees Allan every week and he checks out her computer.  I asked Mom “If you had any E mails, would you even know it?”   She asked if I had any messages for Allan and I said nothing specific.  I told her that fabled blood test is still a mystery and told her I expected to see Dr Saran again next week and I’d ask him again.  She said she’d get Allan to give me and her more card numbers.  I feel as though I have accomplished a few things today.  I was planning on changing the blog design of “Wheels of Retrobution”.  I may yet do that.   You know something?  I like my spelling better- - just as I like the two l’s in the word “ballance”.

Well I spoke too soon on the pork chop front.  (Gen Mc Arthur won’t like the report)  Because it seems last week was the first- - and apparently only time we’d have pork chops the past six months or so.  Today we were back to the tidbits and rice combo.  Once again I had to employ the taco sauce liberally.   If I were President Obama I’ve be employing a whole lot of government measures “liberally”.  We had chocolate pudding for desert.  Bill returned here before dinner after his wife had once again fleeced his wallet.  Janet invited just me to come and get some coffee and chocolate Danish.  It was a large piece.  Eye Witness News is on now.  I see we’re on page six now so maybe we’re about done.    Maybe they could to a time-regressed video of Nancy Sinatra in her youth seducing Father Eric right in his office to the tune of “Run for your Life”, which is her own unique adaptation of the Beatles song.

You Are Not Free to Travel About the Country

Now it seems right wing politics has done a full three sixty on itself- - literally tying itself in knots.  You remember that Citizen’s United was a political organization and the initial issue was whether the Republicans had the right to run a trash Hillary movie that close to an upcoming election.  The court said they did, and I wish they’d have stopped there.  Now the Republican chairman, Reinz Previs  - - what a name- - has taken on two of the networks for even planning to put out two different Hillary Clinton movies sometime.  The CNN one would be a documentary, and the NBC one will be a fictionalized account of Hillary’s life, if the networks aren’t cowed by the tea party.  When the tea party starts dictating that the media puts on the air, then they really have gone too far.  I don’t understand the political climate today.  Randy Rhodes admits that nobody on the liberal side of the fence is organized into an action group.  Not really.  Of course Acorn hasn’t been around since 2010.  Nobody is much talking about liberal web sites any more like move-on.org or think progress - - anymore.    I haven’t hit these sites myself in some time, but perhaps they have become irrelivent because like President Obama himself, they have watered down the liberal message into unrecognizability.  Perhaps.  I don’t know.  Now there is a new organization called ALEC-Exposed.Org.  I’ll have to try that one.  You know things are really different now.  Because back at any time other than now- - a trial like the Trayvon Martin trial would be done in complete secrecy and it sure would not be televised, and no attorney would be going to the media.  They would be too ashamed to admit things like that farce still went on in America.  As Oprah Winfrey says it very parrellel to the Emitt Till case in 1955.  Here is a case of a Black teenager from Chicago being murdered by a group, for whistling at a White woman.  One black witness saw it all and testified.  He felt his life was so in danger that me moved to Chicago and changed his name, and didn’t even tell his future wife he was ever involved in the case.  Of course in the Zimmerman case they just didn’t call any witnesses that were actually favorable to the victim.  So maybe that makes today worse.  I don’t know what to make of today’s political climate.  The whole political climate in this country is like watching a gigantic car wreck occurring in slow motion- - and you are powerless to stop it.

That Kurt guy called the Randy Rhodes show back.  Kurt explained that he was a responsible, normal person- - who is just afraid to go to Bakersfield.  He has all the material emenities of life and Randy says he’s overcome a lot of obsticles.  There seems to be some really strange stuff going on with the city of Bakersfield today.  It’s becoming a little part of Alabama right here in California, apparently.  Who would have guessed?  Someone said that Pennsylvania was like Philadelphia at one end of the state and Pittsburgh at the other, with Alabama sandwiched in-between.  One man stormed a town meeting in that state and killed three people with his shot gun- - and then left the meeting and came back with another gun.  Of course you know they allow guns in town meetings now.  But they don’t allow outsiders.  They check your credentials.  I wonder whether they were doing that in 2009 when the tea party members stormed all those local meetings then.  My guess is they didn’t care/  So if you’re a liberal and were hoping to be perswasive in a conservative environment – you may be jerrymandered out of existence.  But they want all questions and remarks pre-approved in advance.  I heard they began doing that at Calvary Chapel church meetings or some sort.  Nobody could get up and make a speech who wasn’t on some pre-approved list.  So if all these Town Meetings are choreographed, who is choreographing them?  The congressman?   Wouldn’t that be self defeating as to the whole purpose of a “Town Meeting”?  Apparently not.  It’s not safe to travel from one part of the country to the other.  Randy Rhodes was ordered by the KKK to get out of Mississippi and they said that they would inform Alabama to make sure you didn't stay in that state either.  It all started when Randy made a joke about bumps on her forehead she said "were retracted horns" and the guy almost acted if he believed her.  If you have an Obama sticker on your car and go eat as a Restaurant, you may come out to find your car vandalized.  Or else if you’re a woman alone- - a man may get out of his car and start screaming at you and calling you every sort of vile name.  It certainly strikes me that we are a more vile, crude, less civil and polite society than we used to be.  It all started with Howard Stern in the 2^nd half of 1991, and the media as a whole has dropped to his standards, to the moral detriment of us all.  Even Fred Price feels comfortable now slipping in the most crude sexual references right in his Sunday sermons.  They still udder the mantra “You can make a difference” but most certainly nobody believes that any more.

Tea Party Stokes the Flames of Poverty and Racism

In this era when the economy is doing so well - - real estate and employment is up- and so is the stock market- - and the deficit is down.  In such an era it’s only natural that if you’re FOX news you have to fill this great void with other stuff.  So you are hearing “Bengazi” repeated again and again, as if this one event could sink Hillary’s carrier.  And now these people are playing the race and poverty cards big time.  Bill O Riley and Glen Beck are saying it’s all a matter of poor Black teenagers having lots of out of wedlock babies and getting on welfare.  (They are very lacking in subtalty as to their aim)  As it happens the teenage pregnancy rate has gone down 25% and the abortion rate has been dropping since 1992.  In fact even the single teenage mother rate peaked in 1991.  We just told you violence in Chicago has dropped.  And the border crossing net level of immigration has dropped to zero.  And when you break down the races if these figures are right- - for White teenagers the pregnancy figure has dropped 20% and the Blacks have had a steeper drop at 25%, but it’s Latino girls who have had the steepest drop of all at 35%.  Of course when it comes to health care- - we here in America spend more for health care and get less coverage for it- - than any other developed country in the World.  It doesn’t seem to bother people like O Riley that our nation has become a laughing stock of the world, on a whole host of issues- - such as math and science education.  Randy points out the “a stitch in time saves nine” principle.  If you catch a disease in its early stages, it’s a whole lot more treatable, and for less money, then if you wait for that perverbial stage four lung cancer.  I’m wondering if just perhaps- - these O Riley types might not mind one bit if a lot of poor people were to suddenly die off a lot quicker.  But the thing is you have the “grandpa” problem, of no slaves to work on the Plantation.  These rich people don’t have all their luxury in a vacuum.  And someone made a joke about how one poor guy was mocked by a rich person saying “You poor people aren’t very smart.  You need to find a way to earn money the same way I did - - inheret it”.  There was also referenced this “rich guy related to the Koch Brothers by a different mother” where- one man completely turned around North Carolina politics from blue to red.  (Selah)

Randy Rhodes got this one caller who agrees with her “99.9% of the time” but takes issue with Randy on the subject of these town meetings.  The caller was afraid that he or any friends he organized to go with him, would all be killed if they went.  Randy then joked about “how she really loves this guy who writes her nice letters” but pegs him as one of these loners who still lives in the basement of his mother’s house and never gets out” almost like a psycho in some of these slayer movies.  But really he could be me- - when not on my meds.  Or more to the point, he could be me forty years ago in 1973 about the era where “For What It’s Worth” my little novel, takes place.  At this time many of us thought Kissinger was the antichrist, and that Nixon would not stay in office his full term, though we didn’t know when or specifically how that would happen.   About an hour later Bones came to the guy’s defense asking me “Just what was unreasonable about anything the guy said?”  I was puzzled.  Bones said “Well- in 2008 you would never have guessed what the political environment would be a year and a half ago when the tea party debates were going on.  And even in early 2012 you’d have never guessed the sort of gun toting racist hate environment we are in right now”.  I had to agree.  So challenging him I said “So, what will things be like in 2014?”  He said “What do you think?  Do you think it’s beyond the ability of the tea party to stage some outrage.  You know they are already threatening a violent revolution that will be “sparked” by an event.  Of course they are blaming it on the democrats.  You know, don’t you they have come out and Admitted- - just as the caller said- that all of these “Town Meetings’ will be completely choreographed just as they were in 2009 and that the Truth will never see the light of day”.   Randy Rhodes seemed to see it as one of those “Do or die’ moments.  That means you take action.  In that there is no real option.  The only unknown is- - “Do you feel lucky today”.   Dr. Levy read this sheet of quotations from the people at founders and one girl there had the quote of “Sometimes the thing you least want to do right now is the very first thing you Should do”.    Some of these Black civil rights workers may have been apprehensive, too, but they did what they had to do.  They knew they were traveling down South and putting possibly their lives on the line.  Just because one may have expressed a momentary bit of anxiety to his comrade doesn’t mean that they were somehow “yellow”.

 I had another of those long dreams last night.  This one involved some new government order to micro-manage the relations between Whites and Blacks in the schools.  There was something funny about- - like you'd see waves of students being ordered around by some loud speaker system.  The dream took place at what seemed to be Brookhurst Jr. High (but it could have been Western)  It looked the same but there was no open area in front where the ninth grade circle is.  The dining room didn’t have windows in it either.  There were a lot of students hanging around the girl’s locker enterence.  But also it’s as if “someone had moved the gym” - - like it was “further to the north than it used to be."  And I would stare at the whole west side of this building and muse “something about this building is different now from the way it was when I went here”.  Because there were a lot of like “administration” type office officials and perhaps some library archives there.  I guess students were being registered.  But there was a rule that said that White students and Black students could not be segregated even voluntary and no more than- - maybe two or three blacks in a row and then there had to be White students.  People blamed regulations from the Obama administration for this (constantly)  But they still managed ways of screwing over the Black students.  They would cheat them on their lunch money and short change them on their food or take pudding cups off their trays when they weren’t looking and had other ingenious ways to make sure that the Black students were subjugated.   Like the previous night’s dream – it’s so real when you’re in it- and it almost seems real a second or so after you have woken up.

Time-Warner is not refunding any of the customers’ money for not carrying CBS or Show Time.  But they promise they will add a “Kids Channel” at some future date.  Mario is inclined as am I to blame Time-Warner for this deboccle more than CBS.  Just to my pin head way of thinking- - if every other cable carrier was able to work out a deal with CBS then why couldn’t Time-Warner?  But Time-Warner is even denying their internet subscribers access to the CBS.COM site, which is probably against the law.  Mario is skeptical about the statements of Governor Jerry Brown claiming that there are not ten thousand inmates in the State Prison system that could be released.  Certainly there were a lot of “third strike” people- convicted for minor offenses since the mid nineties that could be released- - or your garden variety drug addict that needs to be rehabilitated in more of a medical environment.  Maybe it’s all politics.

On the soap opera- - Christian posing as Susan made her little “blunder” with the coffee much worse by actually taking extremely sensitive research and picking up the whole pad and dabbing it on the coffee spill.  The question is why any cop would have ultra sensetive original research documents right out there in a desk before the public.  And stranger to in this age of computer copies and photocopy machines- why this wouldn't have been done.  Of course she then made her escape through the bathroom window.  Which is funny because I didn’t think the bathroom was near a window.  And they all must have developed deafness because nobody heard a thing.  Father Eric stumbled on to the truth when he picked up on the idea that he too had encountered a “strange brunette”.   Stephano Di Mira has this almost God like ability to get information even when precautions are done to keep it a closed circle of knowledge.  Samantha Brady was verbally accosted in her cell by the grieving Widdow.  Just between you and me- - if she had had a gun in her purse- - she could have gotten away with it in this joke of police department, who couldn’t fight their way out of a paper bag.  Elvis received all these promises about how secure Samantha would be and how her quarters would be guarded at all times and there were video cameras everywhere.  But lo and behold there are no guards and no cameras were rolling.  I’m not usually the one to advise Elvis to throw around his family name, but this would be a really good place to start.  Right now as far as I’m concerned, as an attorney for his client- - he is well within his grounds to file suit against the Salem PD.   Samantha may be a jerk- - but I believe that any prisoner, even her, has rights.

The Bible teaches "the furvent prayer of the righteous availeth much".  Well some of my prayers have indeed been answered over the years.  Once a new cat escaped in the night- - actually it was I who let her out.  And she made the way over a hazardous two mile trek accross Brookhurst, which is a busy street, back to the home where she used to live when my brother Al was living there.  I prayed for the Camp David accords between Egypt and Israel to last, when Chuck Smith apparently was gambling on just the opposite.  God sided with my point of view.  I prayed for Ronald Reagan to be elected over Jimmy Carter.  God answered that one, too.  Now I see the folly of 'getting what you pray for'.  But in 1984 when I no longer had certain holy rollers breathing down my neck- I voted for Mondale.  And when informed that Chicago was experiancing an epidemic of violence and murder, I prayed for peace there.  Now some local priest is organizing "midnight basketball" or whatever, a concept that is repeatedly mocked by Rush Limbaugh, as a means by which Gangs could expend their energy in a more constructive way.  And apparently it has worked.  The murder rate has dropped way down.

You people know my position about steroids and professional Baseball.  I don't see it as a problem and believe the players should be able to do as they wish, barring specific contractual prohibitions.  I certainly would never sign any contract with a life time suspension clause.  I believe Profession sports is an "exhibition" meaning it exhibits the very Best that this sport has to offer.  It would be as if some rock band were beaten out by another rock band for a record contract and raising the cry "We are just as good of musicians as you are, but you've got a way better sound engineer".  In high school or amature sports such as the Olympics or the Tour de France that's a whole other animal.  In those sports you are striving to prove you are BETTER than someone else.  But when you are at the Top you strive to be the best YOU can be.  Do you see the difference?  I would not go invalidating any baseball records and our kids don't need to throw out all their baseball cards of disqualified players.

This whole terrorist alert is still being hyped in the news.  On one level I understand it.  After all if we liberals are going to be morally consistent- - in getting on George Bush's case for ignoring warnings about Al Qaeda and spending all that time in his Crawford ranch, then consistency would dictate that we take these warnings seriously.  Still I don't.  I personally am not a bit worried.  People are worried about different things.  I note these stories about people falling to their deaths leaning on twelve story faulty balconies.  It doesn't bother me much.  I figure they are just stupid or unlucky or something.  But if you were to tell me there was ebola virus or some neurotoxin in my food, I would be scared spitless.  I can picture myself much more readily being poisoned to death than I can falling to my death.  And just remember with the Syria thing - - - We could paraphrase Kennedy of "Never go to war out of fear propaganda, but never let us fear to go to war when it is proved necessary by the circumstances".  Al Qaeda would actually be Stronger by us ignoring the situation in Syria.  Just think about that one a minute.  I honestly believe that John Mc Cain loves his country.  I cannot say the same thing about a lot of his other joker comrads in Congress on the Republican side of the aisle.

Today is August 4th and the President's birthday and also Becky Daniel's birthday.  (It's just another of those birthdays I mention in my blogs)  She was born in the year of the water snake and so that makes her - - - well, the prospect is so unthinkable I can't bring myself to say it.  August of 1993 was a better month for me than the two & a half that preceded it, and also a better month than the two and a half months to follow.  I still had that black cat Chiquille as it were a "shared pet" with this young married couple that lives on the north side.  But they moved out on either Saturday the 7th or the 14th.  I don't remember which.  And Chaquille kept running into my apartment even when I wanted him out because I was leaving for a while.  Eventually I figured it out.  The cat liked to roll around on my newly installed carpet.  If I had August 1993 to do over again I would not have started drinking alcohol because that undermined my new relationship with Marie from apt 12 and her two little girls.  Her ex husband was into drugs- - and understandably any hint of a problem would be "problematical" for our relationship.  And if you're curious- - no, it did not lead to sex.  In those days I was dealving into a new Computer language every few months.  At the turn of the year 1992-1993 it was the "C" language.  In the spring of 1993 it was PL/1.  That fall around November it was Prolog.  And in the spring of 1994 it was Fortran.  The relationship with my parents, particularly my Dad would hit one of those "Defining moments" in an adverse way come Halloween and shortly thereafter.  The relationship between me and my Dad was never again the same.

This next story- - which I had pondered doing this morning I liken to "an old man with a prostate condition" because "the truth about my relation with the Beatles is trickling out it a slow rate".  I used that imagery because of this coffee maker I have now- - isn't brewing coffee as well as it did when I got it.  It's taking longer and sometimes the flow slows to a trickle.  I'm informed it's because I use hard water all the time and there's a calcium buildup or something.  The story is now that "Pink" was slated to be the "New John" as far back as mid 1964.  Still in August it was me that was singing on that Anthology CD.  Now they are saying me might be Me singing on the official version of "Mr Moonlight".  But they are also "taking a song away from me" and that is "Baby's In Black". It's too bad, too, because I really like that song.  You can tell "Pink's" involvement because Lennon's voice takes on sort of a droning quality- - of which "Rain" is a prime example.  Also there is that whole 3/4 thing that was introduced, and also the bit with the tambourine.  "Pink" also exhibits this new "Metal" sound on such tracks as "Intersteller Overdrive' and "Pick Up Your Stethescope and Walk" on Pink Floud's debut album.  They decided to give me two other songs on "Beatles for Sale" that I could do anything I wanted to on.  I figured maybe I'd stick it to Lennon "Just because I could" because he never liked the way his voice sounded "Au Natural" and so on "I'm a Loser' and 'I Don't Want to Spoil the Party" I decided, perhaps due to having heard a Bob Bylan album for the first time- - that these two songs needed the earthy, organic touch.  I was finally allowed to do two more songs- - my Swan Song appearence on the Beatles.  In case you didn't know, I perform all three Larry Williams songs that the Beatles do.  Of course Larry Williams is a Romulan.   When it came to Abbey Road years later and Pink was shall we say "lost to us" I really tried hard now to imotate Pink and "sound like him".  But I was having a lot of trouble on Polytheme Pan- - then George Harrison gave me a suggestion- that worked.

There was "put forth the proposition" (to quote the Doors) that you can TEST prayers lifted up to the Lord.  There is of course that scripture in Malachai that was quoted this morning.  (A Hawaiian finally made it into the Old Testament)  But more importantly Paul teaches us to "test all things".  So I see nothing at all wrong with "testing' to see if "These things be true" so to speak.  I know there is a scripture quoted by fundamentalists that God hates being tested- - - but what are you going to do?  If two passages contradict one another you have to go with one or the other.  Too many of these psychic programs seem to lack "mental focus".  It's like open mike hour at the local bar when you get up there to sing a sing and then discover that you've forgotten the words.  So many of these psychic programs are sadly "just not ready for prime time".  If I were to get on one of these shows I would tell they what I know- - and if I didn't know some particular question I would be clear about that and say "This is just my personal oppinion based on my life experiances".   There is this pernicious notion that somehow that "Your own thoughts are somehow- - Dangerous".  The not too hidden message here is "Don't think for yourself- - let US do the thinking for you".  Obviously right therein lies a problem.

Getting What You Pray For

That pre dawn host on KFI dared to say that there was "some kind of a spiritual revival going on now" but then never elaborated as to where or of what nature.  Meanwhile in other "daft" remarks, Bob Sheefer called Mitt Romney a "Good Business Man".  This is like calling that gunman in the Colorado theater a "good shooter".  Anyone can shoot fish in a barrel.  And anybody can make money if they already have it- - and were specificly trained in the machinations of the law that allows them to steal from the rest of us.  That Mitt Romney did not talk about either his own record as Governor nor his Faith merely shows him to be a coward in character.  Nothing more - nothing less.  Apparently Mitt Romney "still doesn't get" what he did wrong in that 2012 campaign.  Meanwhile we have some frightening statistics.  57% of White people would like their state to be a "stand your ground" gun law.  The way they explained it yesterday" you don't even need to have a REASONABLE belief your life is in danger.  An Unreasonable one will do - - hence police forensic investigation of the crime is no longer necessary.  (Selah)  For Black people the figure is reversed with 57% of them against "Stand your ground" and forty percent for it.  Right there is proof to me that White people are inherently more Violent and combative than Black people.  But another frightening statistic is that 54% of the people in the Republican Party wish the party would move in a more Conservative direction.  This is despite the antics of people like Ted Cruise and Rand Paul lately.  Libertarian these days pretty much means "to take more rights away from the people".  It's my guess these people are pretty "liberal" if you will on eminent domain laws- when it comes to Big Business.  The only ray of encouragement lately is that still only twelve percent of the people approve of the way Congress is conducting their business.  One might think this would translate to turning a lot of Republicans out of office next year.  But if you want a really scarey thought- - Mitch Mc Conell is losing his support in Kentucky NOT because they prefer a Democrat, but rather because they are planning to "tea bag" him from the Right, and we know from the Texas experiance in 2012 what happens in those cases.  So is there a "revival" going on?  Only if it's of a sick and demonic nature.  Personally I have no idea how to fight it.  I wish I did.

This is after lunch on Sunday August 4, 2013.  There is talk about whether you can make your dreams come true through learning “the secret” or whatever.  If there is some topic in these paragraphs you are a little bored by- - just read faster and get on to the next thing. [some material omitted here]  The solution is I’m just going to have to stop smoking myself and then I won’t be able to meet the avalanche of demand I’ve faced in the past day or less.  It’s like there is this ‘giant sucking sound’ and all your cigarettes disappear the minute you buy them.  Last night it was ABC news and then the Mc Laughlin group.  Pat Buchannon cares more about hurting Russia’s feelings than he does the security of America.  Mc Cain is making more sense now than Buchannon is.  Pat’s been this way lately.  He gets this almost whiny voice saying how we are “unreasonable” to demand that Russia stop military aggression.  Then there is all this red, yellow and orange security stuff, but they aren’t calling it that any more.  In addition to all of our Embassies in Islamic nations being closed down, they say there are terrorist threats from Al Qaeda in the United States, but ABC news won’t tell us what they are.  Let me guess.  They’re “classified”.   If I’m Edward Snowden I’d return the favor by just saying “My reasons for stealing all that valuable information is - - Classified”.   Edward Snowden after all this time has finally been granted one year Assylum in the Soviet Union.   I’ve gotten messages from Bones.  He says “When it comes to choosing Al Qaeda or the Soviets- - - the Federation would pick Al Qaeda without batting an eye”.  Also playing against type- - Bones said that Lady Ga Ga and Madona are correct in boycotting Russia because of their new strict laws on gays.  Bones also says that despite their token gesture of niceness about the Winter Olympics next year, that we should boycott the Winter Olympics next year, too.  One of the topics was the five week recess congress just started.  Another topic was the Detroit bail out, and will there be one, and one and all said ‘No”.  But lies are being told about the employee Unions saying that their demands are “greedy” when quote the opposite they have been most conciliatory.  But in the same way that the tea party wants to “break the US economy” so these same people would just love to “break” a northern big city that votes Democratic, just to show they could do it.  In terms of that morning guy on KFI talking about “people praying for evil things to happen to you if their egos aren’t pure” Bones said “I hate to break it to these prayer warriers but they don’t have that kind of power”.   Of course on my mind last evening was the news that Chuck Smith has months to live because he had lung cancer.  I was sitting there with a cigarette thinking “Did you ever think when you were younger that you would ever deliberately do something that was likely to kill you?”   It’s a sobering thought.  After the ABC game shows it was “Zero Hour” after watching that opening “Video” on “The Office”.  “Cops” wasn’t on.  I was thinking I needed to “get out of my own head” and think about something else for a while.  I had thought about posting last night but wasn’t sure I had anything to say that wouldn’t bore people.  I’m still not sure.  While I was going on and on about Al Qaeda and US security at the breakfast table- - John Powell got up and excused himself- - virtually in mid sentence, which got me thinking “Perhaps I need to learn to shut up”.   I wonder if I affect my on-line readers the same way.

Of course the show had this one thing about “Visions” or was it just a dream, and how does the LORD impart insight to people, and do said people need religious credentials before God can manifest his Will to them?   That brings us to last night’s dream.  It was kind of one of these things that you don’t know if you’re the one in the dream- - or you’re just watching the whole thing on a screen.  It involved a couple of special hour long episodes of “Mama’s Family’ if you remember that show.  It was like Jesus Christ was a contemporary person and he was some kind of crooked attorney.  Jesus would have these “lines” he said to a lot of different people, always with exactly the same words.  He’d have all these resume “endorsements” he’d write out, and they likewise would be in the same identical wording.  And they were definitely bogus endorsements- - meaning the person had absolutely no merit but he was being used as kind of a “rubber stamp” operation.  He’s one of these people who had people at his house day and night.  It’s a Mideastern type thing where if the front door were wide open it would mean people could walk on in and he’d deal with them.  He’d tell me ‘feel free to drop by any time- - in the Mideast culture you don’t need an appointment”.  But all the while once you got there he’d make you feel like a nobody- - like you were 123^rd on his priority list.  He would do things like bogus adoptions where he knew the kid involved had been kidnapped.  He didn’t care.  He had women employees but he’s d fire them on the spot if he ever found out they were pregnant.  He would do these ‘emancipations’ of youths- - where the parents genuinely wondered where their kids were.  Everything he did leagelly was crooked.  He’d even hire impostors to come in and put on an act for somebody else- - in order to convince them to do this, that or the other.

Chuck Smith has stage four lung cancer.  He first announced he had lung cancer on Newyears Day 2012 and in July 1^st the condition was up or “downgraded” to state four, which is the final stage in which the average patient has just eight months to live.  However age and general health play a factor.  They claim women fare better than men.  We know how Chuck likes to keep physically fit and likes to get out of doors a lot.  So I don’t get it.  I didn’t know that Chuck kicked his own son out of the Calvary ministry in 2006.  I know that Armstrong did that, and I think even Schuller de-throned his son.  I thought there was a controversy about that.  I take exception to the notion that Calvary Chapel in any way suffered a loss because the Lord didn’t return in 1981.  By that stage of peoples’ evolution – nobody cared.

I woke at 4:37 and went to the bathroom.  I decided to get up early and listen to this nut on KFI before six.  I didn’t get around to turning the radio on till 5:00 straight up, after an initial cigarette.  There was news.  And then a Paul Rogers song, and then another block of commercials.  The same thing happened with the 5:30 news.  There was that five minute block, and right after that would be another five minute block.  Knowing this guy now- - that he was far to the political right caused me not to trust him.  He talked about dreams and prayers and how if your ego isn’t focused your prayers can “accidently be a means of great evil”.  He talked about this father and son who had committed suicide in 1993 that were in this organization called “Spindrift’ or something.  (?)  There were many varied Wickipedia entries.  The father and son were kicked out of their church in 1983 and for ten years were on their own.  One web site I definitely didn’t like the vibes from.  They were “undifferentiated DES RHO” vibes- - which can and do adversely affect machinery.  The other site wasn’t green either.  It had this off standard font but at least I was able to glean a little background on this cult- - of the guest he had on his show and who took a few callers but not that many.  One “sign” occurred to me though.  It was something the Host himself said that signaled me to “call off your dogs’ and not to do an attack piece.  This guy apparently is cosmically credentialed as a a Bela Tagis B group- that is among the “Alpine’ group on Aldeberan VIII.  He said something that was as rare as (by way of analogy) a twelve digit code in the right order.  (Like those signs of the Twelve Tribes on that one wall)  The odds metaphorically of getting this “code” right were like N! and twelve, and make sure you have a big enough computer to handle that figure.  But I still have to take issue with his idea that there is some “spiritual awakening” occurring.  Pardon my paranoia but if the guy really is tea party - - my hope is there would not be any "revival" worse than things are already.  However - - - If anything- - his cosmic credientials say “Dorment”.

At nine was the Beatles doing Elvis.  John Lennon told me at lunch “Any of those things you were thinking about saying about me- - I don’t mind if you do all of them because I have no objection to any of it”.   On the other hand I may sensor myself.  When Lennon thinks of “The Sun Years” Elvis- - he’s thinking also of the early RCA recordings, of which the January 30^th 1956 session in New York is the prime example of perhaps Elvis at his musical peak.   I will say one thing about Paul doing “That’s All Right” and that Ringo does better kick-ass drumming than the original.  In terms of Elvis biographers the only person I trust unqualifiably is Scotty Moore.  Of course when people think of the earliest Elvis they can remember, the Tommy Dorsey show- - they think of a wild, gyrating, almost demonic Elvis.  But in the earliest times it was correct that Elvis would look to Bill Black to “get the crowd going’ with his own antics first.  In terms of KLOS - - - I wish they’d take all the resinense and acoustic junk out of “Let It Down” and you could actually hear with the band sounded like.  They played that ghastly recording by Mickey Dolens of “Good Morning” and had the “Smitherenes’ on tap.  Now to the important stuff.  We had pizza for lunch.  We also got seconds.  There was a green salad and kind of a chicken and broccoli soup.  We had grapes for desert and Tom gave me his grapes.

In terms of cosmic news- - - Judy Collins, like Jackie De Shannon - - is a “Leonorian”.  And the group “Focus” is Drewanian - - not Aldeberan VIII alpine group- - as I might have incorrectly reported.  Barry Gordi is actually a Reigel Sixer.  The Federation has always regarded “The Contours” as a Reigel VI band rather than Mo-town.  New info has both Michael Jackson and Dianna Ross as “Pikes” of all things.  I don’t think they’re earth terriestrial Pikes - - but must have a non human earlier life.  By the way- - not only are Andromadans somewhat reminiscent of “amphibian” in nature in their structure - - like anphibians they have a three chambered heart.  The Romulans on Regelus V have been flooding the local papers with Editorials about saving Detroit because both the pure bred (Syracruse) Romulans and the Detroit Romulans frequent Detroit.  By the way the local Southern Californian Romulans are friends with another rich person besides the J Paul Getty museum- - and that is Henry Huntington.  Yes, downtown Huntington Beach is “The Huntington Group” not surprisingly- - and they are friends with the local Romulans - - but from the same “home planet’ the Reigel Sixers” emigrated fron, and the same planet the Bajorans also emigrated from.  It’s called a Reigelian planet- - but we of course aren’t referring to the star but part of the Old Reigelian Federation.  Some Romulans call Reigel Sixers “proprietary pigs”.   Of course Ike Turner is Reigel VI.  The complaint is that groups under their control feel musically constrained.  But like I say- - I’m leaving out all the stuff- - some of it new - - regarding John Lennon’s relation with the Beatles.  I am also not going to walk down memory lane today to visit August of 1993, which I had been intending to do had I written this posting yesterday.  I’ll save that till when there is another lull that needs filling.

Mid Summer Lull

This morning I had Ed Schultz on and he lamented this do nothing congress which as of today is officially beginning its five week vacation.  I heard even in September they have only six work days scheduled that month.   This congress is not only a do nothing congress, they are a sabotage the economy and sabotage the governmental process as a whole congress.  Tonight Thom Hartman stated that the Republicans in the Senate 36 of them, were backing a law that would issue a flat prohibition against the US government EVER passing another occupational safety measure for workers, because it "isn't referred to directly in the constitution".  Neither is Air Traffic control, but perhaps this is because the airplane hadn't been invented yet.  As to the whole tainted food and "Melamine' in cat food imported from China- - the libertarians would say that 'market forces" would get the stuff off the market in time.  The trouble is that enough is never enough.  For instance Mitt Romney spoke of lowering the corporate base tax rate and they closing loopholes.  President proposed very much the same thing this past week- - but now the republicans won't touch it with a ten foot pole.  The Affordable Care Act once upon a time was endorsed by Newt Gingrich and the Heritage foundation.   It could be argued that Slavery in the South would die away on its own as more modern inventions came on the market to save labor time.  And yet once upon a time there were dejour laws AGAINST freeing your slaves.  Congress at that time wanted it's express wish to be that Slavery would be preserved.  Once upon a time they had Maximum wage laws.  Perhaps because if one wise acre paid more money then other Employers- - it would drive the wage market up as other workers demanded the same thing for their jobs.   There is a line in Star Trek where Commander Reyker was aboard a Klingon ship and Reyker had to deal with an insubordenate officer.  He asked a comrad for advice as to what to do and the other guy responded, "Well, this is your first Command decision".  Well Absolem, King David's son in the Bible had such a "command decision".  His sister had been raped and her virginity stolen from her.  In mideastern culture being a rape victim was an affair of shame- - and could even result in her being stoned for it being HER fault.  So Absolem made a Command Decision to commit murder against the rapist.  It's kind of like in the South they brag because "We don't leave things to the government - - we take care of our problems ourselves".  (Selah)

Incidently under my economic plan of the previous post- - I too would cut the Corporate Tax rate to twenty-five percent.  Mitt Romney wanted twenty, so mine would only be five points higher than his.  This is for earned income of a corporation.  The point of having that high "idle money" tax- - for either a corporation or an individual- - that is just "stashing the money away" in some account or T Bill - - would be a carrot and stick strong incentive to invest in the business and to hire on employees.  Money you are paying for equipment or property or paying employees- - is NOT money that you will be paying Taxes on.  Capish?  Making payroll is a 100% deductable expense.  The other two are considered Capital outlays.  You can't deduct that- - but only to the extend that you won't have all that nasty interest earnings you have to pay taxes on- - you'll have to rely on your own inginuity in buying equipment or otherwise expanding the business, and deciding which employees to hire knowing that they are indeed a deductable expense you won't have to pay Earnings Income Tax on.  I hope that clarifies things a little.

We listed our Romulan Color Codes several years ago in a posting.  On "Criminal Minds" there was the notion that people's words came in Colors and by these Colors you could deduce their emotions.  We may get to that.  By the way there IS no "middle voice" in Romulan.  It was a reflexive construction equivelent to the middle voice in the Federation language.  Someone out there was trying to snooker me.  Then I watched a whole lot of movie previews in Google Play.  Then I had Moe Kelly on briefly a little before lunch.  We had chili cheese fries for lunch today- - which was a departure from the customary cold cut sandwich.  We had salami rather than bologna sandwiches from Donnie.  Last night Donnie had three cookies for us.  The soap opera is pretty much beyond the pale and to comment on that would be next to pointless.  I added a spoon and reran the coffee grounds around two.

  Randy Rhodes was all doom and gloom and more stories about cops out of control.  One guy was shot fifteen times for the crime of sitting in his own car in his mother’s driveway looking for a pack of cigarettes.  There was more talk about this congress not just “doing nothing” but in kind of a demolition of the government mode. They aren’t even making a pretence of being concerned about the economy now.   They replayed that Mississippi hicks interview made by Nancy Pelosi’s daughter March 2012.  I got on C-Span and first watched a hearing by a subcommittee on identity theft in the IRS- - of people getting refunds for other peoples’ taxes.  Sounds serious.  Then it was a summation speech, rather gloomy, by Nancy Pelosi about how this congressional session has been a complete disaster.  She took questions and gave detailed answers and I left there.  Then it was a hearing on the implementation of the Affordable Care Act come this October first in less than two months where the average citizen will be able to buy coverage on the Exchange.   That Carl Levin guy made a number of good points and got a lot of questions clarified.  But the Republican’s goal is not to “try in implement Obama Care by examining potential problems”.  Their goal is to sabotage the thing, pure and simple.  Randy Rhodes mentioned how they plan to sabotage all of these so called “Town Hall Meetings” that will turn out to be completely stage managed affairs.

This section has other "late news".  We had real pork chops for dinner for the first time in at least six months.  And the gravy was better, too.  We had rice with it and green beans.  We had applesauce for desert.  Laura was by with seconds on everything.    A ninth woman came forward to accuse the San Diego mayor of sexual misconduct.  The guy utterly refuses to step down from his office.  They isolated the bacteria that made those people in Iowa and Nebraska ill from bad produce, to some Mexican outfit, and as usual we get the not assuring words “All of the offending produce has been taken off the market”.  People on the Moe Kelly show say that incidents of sabotaging the orders of customers they don’t like or who offended them- - are much more prevalent than anyone would imagine.   Money wise I’m already into my second twenty dollar bill, and that’s never good.  Time Warner cable has dropped CBS stations all over the place.  Personally this is reason enough not even to consider Time-Warner.

A Sure Fire Cure For US Economic Woes

After listening to Randy Rhodes just now I think I’ve come up with the most singular thing I could do by means of remedy for both the low wages and the reluctance to reinvest in the corporation.  I’d keep the working rate for maximum income tax at 39% where it is now.   I would raise the idle money tax- - tax in accounts just sitting there and garnering interest and dividends- - I would raise that to 35% for all earning over $250,000 and then I’d peg a rate of fifty percent for all idle money earned by people of over $400,000 in income per year.   And if there were anything illegal about stashing money overseas I’d perhaps triple the number of IRS agents and sick them after these companies.  But if they return that capital voluntarily that capital will only be taxed at the rate of nine percent rather than the new fifty percent.  I would also make depreciation schedules a function of capitalized industry.  Let’s say the median business is capitalized at a ten million.  I would keep laws the way they are now for them.  For those of only $500,000 capitalization, they could depreciate at twenty times the rate.  And then I would slide the scale on over- - and if the business were capitalized at thirty million or more- - I’d make them depreciate their stuff at a rate that took three times as long as now.   And I would also put on a special corporate sales tax where if a company of over twenty million in capitalization wants to acquire another- - it’s a national nine percent sales tax.   But to show I’m not completely heartless- - - I would let corporations relocating their factories IN this country from overseas- - I’d give them an instant fifty percent write off of expenses, and I’d let them take the usual depreciation on top of that.  They’d know of course I had IRS agents after them, as a “stick” incentive.   To those who say all of this would cut corporate profits and decimate the economy I say “I doubt it”.  But then add “And if it does- - then you don’t have to pay as many taxes, do you?”

The reason why Black clubs on campus such as Black Student Union or Black Entertainment and such- - is acceptable- - is because Black is a substitute word for ethnicity.  The words “Black” and “White” are far from opposite in this context.  Because most likely if you’re a US Slave you were brought over from Nigeria or Ghana, or the Ivery Coast or somewhere in that area - - perhaps Niger or Mauritania.  Certain “negroes” in Africa look more like “our Negroes” than other Negroes.    The whole idea behind “White” anything is not ethnic but bigotry.  Indeed George Zimmerman took pride as a “White” Hispanic.  I guess he’s a “token White’ or something.  An honorary White.  But “White” anything is a buzz word for racism right off the bat.  It’s seldom used to denote anything else.  When you hear “White” you think of shot guns,  Confederate flags, and burning crosses on people’s lawns.  If you’re from Ireland, this is fine.  Celebrate that.  If you are Hungarian or Flemish - - find celebrate that.  I think I’m going to have a family reunion in Lichtenstein this weekend myself.   Most of these so called “Whites” could care less about their own ethnicity.  There are persistent roomers that Hitler and Manson both had Jewish blood.  “White” is a state of mind more than culture or genetics.  (Selah)

Both Randy and Moe Kelly were talking about this Islamic guy with four degrees who has dedicated his whole life to studying comparative religion.  Of course he reads scripture in the original Greek.  Fox doesn’t care about any of this.  The only thing they wanted to know was why a Moslem would write a book on Christianity.  But they didn’t ask this question because they wanted it Answered.  In fact as he, like I would have, gone ahead and Answered the question- - I would have to explain apparently how he left Christianity and converted to Islam.  The last thing they would want is for someone to “tell a story”.  They waited to Raise the question and repeat it over and over again- - not out of desire for an answer but as a red flag to their fans out there.  The message is “Only true blue red blooded Americans can write a book about our Jesus”.   And an alarming lot of these people do use the term “My Jesus” as opposed to - - what?  But then to go back and revisit the whole issue the next night- - is a complete insult to anyone’s intelligence, who wasn’t insulted the first day.  They call the idea “arrogant” that an Islamic would do a book on Christianity and not explain “why he was doing it’ as though it were a cop stopping a teenager at one in the morning on a deserted street asking him where he is going.  But as the same time FOX accepts uncritically- - books on “The Secret Reason why Islam is Satanic in its Origens” or some such thing.  Apparently some pastor spent three years in Germany and had a ministry there- - and this makes him qualified.  And Bill O Riley fancies himself an expert on Black culture.  The thing is there is so much misinformation out there about true crime statistics and incarseration rates- - that Black people themselves may be deceived and “buy into the myth” that they as a race are no good and should hang their heads in shame.  Now we hear that George Zimmerman was stopped for speeding in Texas.  Contrary to what Randy rays- - my friends at the Federation tell me that Texas is not friendly environs for Florida residents to migrate to.  He has something to do with Feng Chue and- -  - anybody much west of the Mississippi River.

White people riot too, of course.  But when whites do it it’s called “Youthful Exhuberance” or a Fraternity initiation or something.  When Blacks do it- - it’s the start of the next Revolution or something- - or an acting out of socialist desires.  Nobody cares about white drinking or white raping or child molesting, or white serial murders.    Yeah, I’ve guess you’ve noticed all these groups are White.  When someone says “psycho” I think of a “White” guy rather than someone of ethnic like Latino or - - Nigerian.  I’m having to rework this paragraph a little because Mal Evans wanted me to do “heavy redacting’ of my intended remarks” for “diplomatic reasons”.   It’s just as well.  I think I can actually make the point better that way.  Apparently- - I don’t know but apparently a Black smoking marijuana will be booked even if not eventually charged with a crime, because what he did may not Be a crime.  But now he’s “in the system” and so on any subsequent offences- - they’re gunning for him.  And of course I’ve seen enough movies to know that probation is a dangerous thing because nicking your neighbor’s desk with a hang nail may be enough to get you back in lock-up.   Any prisoner who is smart if given the option will just stay in prison and continue to make contacts there.  Because once he gets out he just might find that he’s actually in more danger that way.  It’s like moving out of home.  Nobody wants “boomerang kids”.  Once you’re out you should be out.

In terms of that Castro guy who held those three women hostage for over a decade- - live isn’t enough time to serve.  He should be forced to die and be reincarnated as a baby born in prison who will never get out his whole life- - and do that again, and again, and again, just as those three women had to suffer again, and again and again.  But short of that- - perhaps a painful grizzly death in prison would be appropriate.  I agree with Moe that this criminal is not deserving of any special status of consideration and that he pretty much deserves whatever he gets.  I also agree with Moe that they should not allow pornographic novel reading in Prison- - especially Guantanamo Bay.  I can’t imagine that with an Aribec translation of the “Shades of Gray” book, the pages literally wouldn’t catch fire- - because such pornographic writing is anathema to Islam.  But here again there is the way the story was handled in the old Sirius Federation.  Because they think if they don’t mention it or bury the story they are being loyal to the city of Cleveland.  But personally I would not go that far to protect a city’s reputation.   I hear they are doing to demolish that house- - and all things considered, that’s for the best.

Microphone use 101.  Digital has done much to enhance (raise) the signal to noise (S/N) ratio of a microphone.  Here are other tips.  If you have two microphones check for phase interference.  The closer the better but obviously avoid physical contact or breathing -- - in general, but some highly directional "rifle shot" microphones can be used from a distance.  Keep free of transformers or other long wave magnetic fields.  It's a good idea if you can to "tune" the room with an octave equalizer (or a 1/3 octive one if you can afford it) and just check for accoustic feedback at different frequencies till they are at a minimum.  Then the room will be "tuned" provided you play back the recording on that same speaker.

Among Romulans- - the “Inland Empire” is jokingly referred to as the “Klingon Empire”.  They claim an earthling first coined that expression but they don’t know who.  This mockingly alludes to the idea of this “alien presence” out there.   Actually there is a lot of Federation representation in the Inland Empire, but we have to define the bounds.  It’s that Eastern section of LA county or only the eastern portion of the San Gabriel Valley- - and almost all of San Barnadino County up even to Barstow and Baker- - and even Ludlow (of Pet Cemetery fame?) - - but does NOT include the city of San Barnadino proper, nor the city of Redlands or Chino.  There is another of those 'Maginoff lines" we talk about - on the Riverside County line and no portion of Riverside County is included in the "Inland Empres" as we define it.  I hope I haven’t made that too complicated.  I had an Uncle who lived in Ontereo and I’d pay twice as much for a house in Ontario as I could in Dana Point, where he moved to, all because the Feng Chue is so much better.   Dana Point has about the worst Feng Chue in the State- - - and Pacific Palacades probably has the worst.
