US Senate Votes Down Infrastructure Jobs Bill

At noon today the US Senate defeated an infrastructure put-America-back-to-work bill that would levy a seven tenths of a percent tax on millionaires to pay for it. The measure was not even permitted to come up for debate. This is strange considering the Senate is still rules by democrats. Of course you know Mitch McConnell's motto is "Our first priority is to make Barock Obama a one term President". Of course in the long run we'll need all these things like rain transit and fix our potholes to avoid tire damage and bring our bridges and water works up to 21st century standards. The other news of the day is that Rick Perry is the one who brought up the sexual hassarrment issues with Herman Cain. It wasn't the democrats as people like Rush Limbaugh can't stop saying. Of course Rush plays the race card with statements as "The conservative Black in America is a Black who has gotten off the Democratic plantation. Herman Cain refers to President Obama as a Kenyan, which is factually untrue if you are talking about what country he was born in. We have really come to a state of functional political paralysis in this country. So apparently we are going to continue to go on in the state we have been- - - a little longer.

So, is the political tide shifting at all in favor of the democrats? I don't think so. Whatever "major event" people are waiting around for to turn the political tide - - hasn't occurred yet. People like Thom Hartman were saying that the President is up to 49% in the latest polls. This figure surprised me because I'd been hearing the opposite. After checking around my darkest fears were confirmed. The President's disapproval figures are the highest they have ever been and his approval figures are about as low as they ever were. There is now doubt that the focus of American debate has shifted from deficets to whether corporate greed really exists or not. While this is a good thing if the people continue to listen to Fox news and Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity they will not be getting the right answers. Hartman today pointed out that these Wall Street camps sometimes offer free medical care and also "educate" the people they come in contact as to the true situation in this country. Personally I think if people really want to be "educated' they will read my blogs. As you know we are still drowning in these tag lines. Now the whole specter of the "dirty hippy" has entered the culture again. People are assuming there is enough general memory of what was going on 40 and 45 years ago that these terms would strike a chord when in reality, much as I hate to face it, you have to be at least middle aged to even remember the hippies. People spoke of the Reagan Revolution as "blow back" against the 'sixties. More likely the Reagan revolution was blow back against a lot of economic regulations that has been passed in the 'seventies. But the situation then is not the situation now. We have not had a lot of new regulations lately and the situation today is quite the opposite. We have been waving regulations as fast as we can. If we can both agree that this slow recovery is caused by the average person not having enough money and also too much business money going overseas, we can best figure out how to correct these two situation. Obviously cutting our domestic wages to levels found in Mexico is not the answer. Building an electrified barbed wire fence at the border will do little. Making English the only language is not the solution and neither is making "In God we Trust" the national motto- - is not the answer. But so far I have not seen any real change in the political climate. If a president does not have at least 55% approval numbers the experts say he's in trouble because while that number supports him, a few of those may vote for another candidate they like better. I am not sure why the Democrats won't consider dumping Obama as the standard bearer in 2012 given what a lightning rod he is. If the President were being attacked for being a liberal crusader that would be one thing. But when he is attacked and he thinks "the most passive I am the less the republicans will hate me" then it's a lose - lose situation. There is no gain in keeping this guy around. But it's almost as if the democratic party has a suicide urge and WANTS to lose to Romney in the election next year, though God knows why. As I said many of these republican candidates have avid supporters. But nobody is enthusiastic about Barock Obama. As I have said most of his life he has faced no formidable opponets. Romney would by far be the strongest opponet he's faced, and I have strong doubts as to whether this president is up to it.

Have you noticed that people who use certain disparaging words to describe others are most often More Guilty of these very things themselves. For instance you hear the word "vitriol" a lot from Rush Limbaugh and he is the master of it. Yesterday Rush said two rather contradictory things. He said that the whole jobs bill was submitted "knowing it would never pass the Senate or anywhere". Rush prides himself that no republican crossed party lines to vote for it. At one point he spoke of some people trying to "trick" republicans by "sweetening the pot" to shake a few loose. But then he said that "actually the whole point of the bill was to lay a guilt trip on republicans who would not pass it to use as an issue in next year's elections". In this view there is some logic to it, if in fact that was the whole goal. As I see it the republicans had a clear choice. Either they would be good Americans and pass this straightforward bill, or else they would revert to their usual asshole state and give it thumbs down. We didn't "trick" them into voting it down, they did that freely of their own will. I just think no matter what happens next year this will go down as one of the darkest political periods in American history when viewed from the perspective of decades from now- such that it will make the Joe Mc Carthy era seem tame in comparrison.

Yesterday Victor dropped a bomb saying to Henderson that he engineered the theft of Maggie’s eggs and the lying and fraud involved, and didn’t tell her anything and still has told her nothing. This is a form of reproductive rape. If I know Maggie as well as I think I do she’s going to dump him and leave him flat when she hears the news. That’s what I would do. You can’t have such an appalling gap in trust in such an important area. And Victor watched Maggie go through hell over this episode with its ups and downs, and did not intervene. He’s kind of God. He knows the ending but he’s not going to tell us. One might infer that God doesn’t consider you or me close enough friends to confide in even in key areas of our lives. Samantha was telling Brady not to get involved with Madison James. Obviously Brady has a dreary track record with women. Samantha has known him for a long time. Besides this, intre-office dating is just unprofessional, particularly between a boss and a subordenant. But Madison overheard Sammy’s remarks to Brady and lands on her like a ton of bricks. Personally I believe Sammy has every right to be offended. Offended she can not be frank with a long term school chum, and offended that what is only “proper decore” any place else, Madison made it clear if she wants a sex flunkie to play with, Sammy has no say in it.

Well now they say the President is planning to bomb Iranian nuclear facilities because “if they wait too long it will be too late”. They now say that Iran is getting closer to developing a nuclear bomb than we though. They are also saying that we can’t count on Israel to do the job for us. The whole Suxnet Worm thing on their computers has apparently run it’s course and they have reprogrammed. If the President does decide to go ahead and bomb Iran – don’t be expecting Michelle Bachman to be satisfied.

As you know Judy did not vote for Kurt Pringle as mayor of Anaheim, because he favors high speed rail. Judy is more fanatically anti “eminent domain” than even I am. As you know I voted for a proposition a few years ago sponsored by “certain real estate developers’ that would have provided for legal safeguards to insure that a property owner’s rights weren’t being stepped on and that he got a fair market price for his property, and also that if he were “monetarily damaged’ by the government he had the right to legal recourse. All this sounded like a good idea to me but the measure didn’t pass. Of course the advantage of ground transportation such as trains over air transport is that it is less succeptable to the caprise of weather conditions. Also you can’t hijack a train to Cuba or crash a train into a high-rise building. Also fuel wise trains are much more efficient, and the convenience to the riders will also be much improved.

This whole protest scene over the United States is a big mess. People in Colorado tried to vote for a measure that increased education funding but the people voted it down because it would raise taxes. Of course Rush Limbaugh was happy about this. Rush Limbaugh fancies himself as being asked the question “Tell me Rush, do you ever get tired of always being Right?” and Rush says “No”. In Madison it’s even money whether Scott Walker can even be recalled. Of course President Obama could get involved in the issue personally but the President doesn’t want to do that. Unlike all those “Profiles of Courage” films we saw in Jr High, it seems politicians no longer take a strand on what’s right and the consequences be damned. In other words the President has a political yellow streak a mile long. In terms of these Oakland protests they have been saying the cops themselves didn’t want to employ all those repressive police measures such as tear gas, flash bombs, and rubber bullets- - but the lady mayor instructed them to do it. And then you have that Curtess guy from the Guardian Angels who couldn’t get away from terms like defication, urination, and fornication, to describe the protestors.

Possible Smoking Gun in 9 - 11 Conspiracy

This is Tuesday November 1, 2011, or 11-1-11 or Yhatsee snake-eyes day. So we have a Smoking Gun in the whole 9 – 11 thing? I believe so. You will remember the term “Smoking Gun” came into our vocabulary during the Nixon Watergate era when a tape recording came to light of the President ordering the CIA to tell the FBI to “stay the hell out of this investigation”. So did President Bush have foreknowledge of the 9 – 11 attacks? Judge for yourself. Sometimes you see things and it “goes right by you”. The media conditions us NOT to even think of certain things. Somebody asked President Bush when and how he learned of the 9 – 11 attacks. And the President said “Well I was watching the TV and I saw the first plane fly into the first building, and I just chalked it up to pilot error”. Of course you know it was AFTER this he was in that Serasota classroom when Andy Card whispered in his air that a second plane had hit the world trade center, and the President continued to read to the class for another seven minutes or so. Of course you know there WAS no TV coverage of the first attack. So why did the President say there was? How is a self confessed terrorist paranoid NOT concerned at such an event? There WAS no first hit shown on TV and no image was known of it until some French documentary on firefighter safety came to light that they were filming. Also such investment activity would have landed anybody else in jail ten times over. Just think of the slim evidence the Feds used to convict Martha Mitchell. On United Air Lines along they said that “put” activity was ninety times in one day higher than you normally get in a week. And the activity was a little too wide spread for a single case of insider trading, however that would work anyhow. Of course in Europe there were immediately conspiracy theories in their press but in this country such talk was tagged as “Unamerican”. The Wickipedia describes the whole conspiracy business the way for instance a psychology book fifty years ago might host a chapter on “Various types of homosexual deviancy”. Of course you do know that Flight 93 was shot out of the sky and there was virtually no plane wreckage at the “crash site”. Maybe somebody threw a smoke bomb for photographic effect for TV coverage. We know the government likes to generate lies of “hero myths” like the Pat Tillman situation, where he really died of friendly fire. And of course we hear over and over how the people of Flight 93 were all willing to die to serve their country. Flight recorders indicate otherwise. This is just a little reminder. It’s just the tip of the ice berg to think about today.

Now they are saying that if you eat at your desk you are risking a lot of bacteria because there are 400 times as many germs on the average office desk as on a toilet. We seem to be treated to statistics every so often. Now they have special wipes for it. Personally to me it seems silly not to get up from your desk and at least walk around and go outside or something, if you are given the opportunity.

Phyllis Green said at noon that she heard on an FM radio station that Dick Chaney was the one that “engineered 9 – 11”. I could not find any confirmation on that under Chaney – so there is no immediate news. Dick Chaney says he is against President Obama pulling out all our troops out of Iraq because “even though we in the Bush administration on the same timetable, we also had a second provision that we were to make agreements concerning training troops left behind”. Well as you know the Obama administration tried to negotiate with Iraq on troops left behind but talks snagged over the idea of immunization for liability so we said, “OK, we’re pulling them all out”. Secretary Rice has a book out where she “returns the favor” and criticizes Chaney saying that she took exception to all this “disappearing of prisoners” held at Guantanamo Bay. Rice is only a slighter saner version of Dick Chaney and President Bush.

Congressman Udall of New Mexico had just introduced a new constitutional amendment abolishing the Citizen’s United ruling of 2010. Also our side takes strong exception to the Buckley vs Valejo ruling in 1976. This amendment has all the necessary stipulative leagelese that Randy Rhodes thinks is unnecessary, but I’m glad it’s there because it eliminates possible ambiguities later on. Chuck Schumer sponsored this bill or “seconded it” or whatever. I don’t see why giving ANY money to a congressman not specified for a particular purpose- - shouldn’t be illegal. Don’t bige us this bullshit about “It’s just good government” or “Civic Mindedness”. We aren’t that stupid. Once the American People hear about this amendment they’ll support it.

In Arizona they have a problem. The people of the state voted clearly they wanted fair districts drawn next time. But now right wing legislators are taking exception to having to follow through. So they are bringing impeachment charges against individual people of the commission in attempt to invalidate their whole plan. In Arizona you can apparently be impeached for wearing the wrong color tie to work that day. Now the courts will get involved and their ruling will hopefully save the day.

They have been playing stuff by Rick Perry on the radio trying to show that he’s on drugs or disoriented or something. Roomers persist that there is a whole pandora’s box of stuff on Perry that has yet to come to light. They say now that Rick Perry is trailing in the polls even in Texas. I have no idea when the next debate will be. I'm still hearing roomers that Karl Rove is really for Romney and not a backer of Rick Perry. Since Rove is so influencial it would figure that anybody that Karl Rove backed at this point would win the Republican nomination.

The defense and the prosecution have both rested in the Dr. Conrad Murray mal practice case. Dr. White got a very hostile reception from Jackson fans. Dr. White was fined a thousand dollars for violating explicit court instructions. Dr. Murray decided not to testify in his own defense. They say you should not draw any “adverse opinion” from this but basically it’s the nail in the coffin for Murray. Tomorrow they are taking the day off and on Thursday, closing arguments will commence. Of course they have to “work out” what specific instructions the judge will give to the jury.

The stock market has now taken a downward dip this week of hundreds of points in two days. This author is still not concerned about it - - yet. Many people on the other side are holding their breath in anticipation of the all coveted double dip recession. That’s not going to happen. Of course there has been a setback in the debt crisis in Greece because last Thursday they hammered out an agreement with other European nations to “push the debt off into the future” as I understand it. But the Greek people will not give voter approval of anything that requires “austerity measures” and apparently don’t want to face reality even if the economic future of the nation depends on it. All of these European debt problems I see as transitory; they will pass.

According to Thom Hartman some parts of the four part trade agreement package that was given thumbs up by the tea party and the President has signed into law- - actually might be good. Apparently it contains a jobs retraining program. However part of it makes Panama banks more accessable to rich people as another place to stash their money without governmental complications. In the part of the deal involving Columbia we support drug running businesses who kill labor union leaders. In the South Korean part of the deal it is said that we indeed might actually be able to increase our exports to that country and that S C has made genuine concessions in that area. I’m still not enthusiastic about this bill and it’s a case of “I’ll believe it when I see it”.

Well, the unthinkable has happened. I finally heard the song “Never Learn Not to Love”, which Manson gave to the Beach Boys. The Beach Boys did a pretty good job of making a silk purse out of a sow’s ear with lots of harmonies and chord progressions and the like. If the time frame is right Dennis communicated with me “in utero” within hours after his death, which occurred Wednesday afternoon, and not at night, which I had always imagined. He was swimming under his yacht looking for keepsakes he’s thrown overboard previously and there was a big box he wanted to bring up. He came up twice, but on his third dive he never surfaced. I like to do underwater “trolling” myself. In terms of Dennis’ drumming contribution, as you know Stu likes Dennis’ style of drumming and has deliberately sought him out to play on recordings. I can tell you pretty much which songs Dennis played on. The Wickipedia seemed to bend over backwards NOT to give Dennis credit for stuff. The last song to hit the radio charts with Dennis on drums was “He’s the man with all the toys” in December 1964. As you know from “Dance, Dance, Dance” onward the Beach Boys got that utility drummer that played on a lot of big tracks from the ‘sixties, notably Sunny and Cher. “Today” contains both the songs “When I Grow Up To Be A Man” out as a September 1964 single, and on the late side of things “Help Me, Rhonda”. Most of this album was recorded in July of 1964 and I’ve known that since June of 1975. “Today” meaning we are doing a personnel purge. There WAS no album after 20/20 in January of 1969. I thought “I Can Hear Music” was on its own album but it’s on 20/20. As it turns out I have mistaken Carl Wilson’s vocal on a lot of songs for Al Jardine. I regarded the late ‘sixties as the “Al Jardine” era when in reality it was Carl. Carl is one guy who managed to “keep his job”. There is a vague reference to Carl after his death - - by Dennis - - I got the strong feeling there was some sort of enforced separation. Carl was on another course. Oddly another Carl vocal was on a Sirius A song in July of 1996 actually BEFORE his death, so like me he astro-projected to perhaps that same Sirius A studio where I was. It was to record a rather mean spirited song calling Janet Evans, the swimmer, a slut. The song always struck me as too mean to have been written by Dennis. But the song is still a mystery. We all know that Murray Wilson their father was an ogre, but I’m not keen on specifics. In general their Reigel Sixer status only extends through “When I Grow Up To Be A Man”.

This is Halloween, October 31, 2011. I have a bad cold and have been coughing and I feel tired and achy all over and my nose has been dripping like a faucet. Eye Witness news is on now. We had meatloaf and much better scalloped potatoes than usual, and green beans with yogurt for desert. We’ve had yogurt much more rarely lately and I don’t know why. I put on coffee and it’s ready. It’s still warm. In fact it can get pretty hot out in the sun which seems to be burning hotter than usual, like being under a heat lamp. The air has been dry. Dr Oz had dieting on. Then I reviewed just about all of the eighteen movies I’ve taken with my camera and also checked one period for deletions because I thought I shot more, but I trust what the camera says. When I returned they were doing a cooking segment. Now it’s cigarette time. Bill and I both should have thought to have at least Donnie for cough medicine. The worst he could do is refuse. Nora was in and out briefly. I definitely will be posting today since I'm doing it now.

We might as well do the rest of the stuff about Dennis. In for a penny, in for a pound, as Captain Piccard says. Like I say it’s a good thing Dennis does not remember his incarnation as a dog. If they were going to do a Rush Limbaugh update song on the era it would be ‘You were always on my mind” translating as “You WEREN”T always on my mind. Anyhow when the dog was euthanized at the pound on Saturday afternoon of October 12, 1985 Dennis immediately transferred to what I call the “Stephen King” incarnation. It was in the body of an eight year old boy known to have “psychological problems”. It was described as a “shady place” with lots of trees and a “dark house” that was kind of like a big square with not enough windows. He had an older brother and the oldest sibling was a sister perhaps eleven or twelve. The mother played the piano and was slowly dying of some cancer like liver of pancreatic. The father was kind of a right wing paranoid years older than the other which has been likened to by Mal Evans as the farmer guy in “Motor-psycho Nightmare” by Dylan, and ended up dying a few years later of a heart attack. But Dennis didn’t stay too long there but Mal Evans cast a spell to land him inside the body of that “in utero” baby of “Nate and Lucy”, which is our current aliases for them. They were friends of all the Bosc members - - with the notable exception of Pete Richards, for which there was a mutual animosity that went both ways. Here is one case where Pete turned out to be right - - because later in the summer of 1987 the couple was talking about this Christian author who wrote a book that I disagreed with virtually every word of. To me the author was a complete asshole but Nate in particular loved him, which has caused me to never view the couple the same again. Dennis has what I would call overly idealized memories of the Bosc house. He seemed not to be aware of the underlying tensions that were growing by late 1985. Mal Evans made a lot of promises to Dennis he couldn’t keep. We now skip to early 1995 maybe February on Sirius A. Dennis had already written a rather re-lyriced grim called “Grab your glass and drink some purple Kool-Aid with me”. Dennis hated living with Nate and Lucy so much he was ready to crawl out of his skin, only in this case it was her skin. Maybe Dennis didn’t like being a female. A few years later Dennis managed to escape. Now in February or so of 1995 Dennis had two more re-lyriced compositions we recorded, meaning me and John Lennon and Stu, with himself on drums. One song was called “So Far Away from Bosc Land”, which is actually a George Harrison tune I’ve never heard played on the radio. The other was called “I’m Moving Right Back Into the Bosc House”, which is an old Neil Sadaka tune. On this song I kept saying “drum like Ringo”. I told him I wanted a really clangy symbol on this song and Lennon heartily agreed. He said he wanted it to sound like “Do the Loco-motion”. We finally got the sound.

Well now the seven billionth person has been born on planet earth. They say there is a computer web site to see which roster number YOU were when you were born. That’s something everybody always wanted to know. (He said in jest) They say that all seven billion could fit in the state of Texas. Rick Perry would love that. More votes for him. We shouldn’t laugh. Perhaps some time in the 23^rd century or so when people are starting to colonize other planets there will actually BE a billion people in Texas, and we will all laugh and say “I can remember when such a number was just a wild fantasy. But seriously it is a sobering problem. It’s kind of like the population explosion is one of those ticking time-bombs nobody talks about. “OK, kids! Can you say seven billion?”

Well Herman Cain is in trouble again. This time it’s old sexual harassment chargers from two lady restaurant workers in the 1990’s. It seems that Cain settled with these two women giving both a monetary payment in return for buying their silence. I guess ethically we then shouldn’t even know about all this, and the two women should pay back the money paid under a fraudulent promise. Yeah, that would play real well with the media, wouldn’t it? Well anyhow, I think President Cain’s days are numbered.

Well if President Obama keeps issuing these “executive orders” to make this a better country, then the republicans are going to make an issue of THAT. Apparently the President is in fine physical health keeping his cholesterol down. It would seem that the Republicans really have their shorts in a wad over the idea of defense spending cuts, and will do virtually anything to avoid that, even make a deal with the democrats. To me being the objectivist I say let the axe fall wherever it will. If you were really serious about cutting the deficit you would be unbiased about it. Some commentators are saying that the continued Wall Street protests are gaining favorable press at last in the media as the “message” is starting to sink in to the American people, and now the whole idea of a privileged rich is a common topic of debate. They say that the protest crowds will grow much larger in the spring. My fears of a sudden Newt Gingrich surge may be unfounded because some say that he’s just in it for the money and to increase his lecture circuit speech income. Of course reversible mittens has the quandary of being a crap shoot should you choose to vote for him. Stewart thinks that Romney’s sanity would override his loyalty to the tea party is he ever got elected President. I would hope so.

I’d like to talk about this expending universe thing. Many may point out to me that if you inflate a circle at a constant numeric rate using Pi by deduction any spots on the circle would also always separate at an equal pace, that would not accelerate. The problem is that scientists tell us now that the expansion rate of the universe is accelerating- - and therefore the speed of separation of the dots is. Also if you travel only a portion of the Universe that you can “see into” with telescopes, and the receeding rate of the stars is “approaching the speed of light” logically there would come a point where the separation rate would exceed that of the acceleration of light. It takes little imagination to see how this could happen. Some use the argument of “moving space”, which is an argument that is not admissible under Einstein’s special theory of relativity. You don’t have that as an out because “space doesn’t have substance” according to Einstein. I guess I have a bit of a question about “moving ether” myself. According to Einstein two objects that travel the same speed, no matter WHAT that speed is- - will view each other with normal perception measurements and no special distortion. But I’m just one person, and even I can’t have the answer to everything, can I?

You know there are issues where intelligent people of good conscience can differ in opinion. But for instance - - two doctors may differ in their opinion as to whether it’s safe for a recovering heart attack patient to have sex with his wife. One may say no and the other may say yes. But if it turns out the guy who says it is Unsafe is also having sex with his wife himself- then things aren’t kosher. This is how it is with Rush Limbaugh. In 2000 he could not say enough bad things about Pat Buchannon saying he was too conservative or divisive or something. It turns out Pat has at least some economic sense. At least he’ll stand up for the interests of American Industry, which most of the politicians will not. You can’t have third world nations competing against the American worker and thinking it’s a fair fight considering what they pay their workers. We told you in a recent posting just how destructive republican tax ideas are. Apparently in 1996 that Mitt Romney ran on a platform stating the flat tax was inherently unfair to the poor if by that you meant that the rich paid no dividend or capital gains taxes. It is said that you are entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts. Pete Richards was going on and on about the “Government taking over General Motors” and how unreasonably high property taxes are in the state of California. Yes- - as if Proposition 13 had never been passed, which cut them by two-thirds or something. And we all know real estate owners are not going to give you a rent cut based on the goodness of their hearts because their profit margin is suddenly bigger. We know that prices in commerce are determined by the market place, and not by the expenses business incurs. Anybody who tells you otherwise is a liar. There are just certain facts on which the jury is still out. For instance some like to talk about something being true “to a metaphysical certainty”. Einstein says this both about Black Holes- - but by inference- the expanding Universe also. According to Einstein there is an “automatic speed limit’ of the rate at which the Universe may expand- - implying that there is some industrial safeguard measure built into the Universe. It would be if you were pumping up a balloon and someone told you that if the pressure inside the balloon reaches 36 pounds per square inch the balloon will burst. But Einstein is standing there telling you that that contingency happening is a “metaphysical impossability”, who are you going to believe. It was liberal Pete Stark who was a proponet of the mantra “Deficets don’t matter”. John Mc Laughlin was talking about whether we could ever have an Atheist as President, and Mc Laughlin was insensed by the notion that Atheists don’t have ethics or metaphysical values, too.

So what’s this bit about the jury still being out? Well in last night’s football game as you know the Trojans were trying to get within field goal range in the last few seconds of the game, and it looks like they had succeeded. But this guy runs out the clock. All he had to do was allow himself to get tackled or to just go down- - and time out would be called. In fact they did say Time was called a d someone else said “stop the clock” but the referees wanted to go to overtime, so that’s what they did. But in reality the game is scored as an “imcomplete” because everything that occurred from that point on was bogus. The game should have been stopped and time put on the clock. A lot of people like to “spin” things. Some “spin” success out of failure and others spin failure out of what is basically success. Romney and Sautaurum have both declared that Obama has left us worse off in foreign policy and we are less secure and that the Iraq war was a failure because we left before we could conclude it. What do you think of people like that? At the same time, of course Romney was a “success story of private industry”. Of course do you remember in the Bible where Jesus on the cross said “It is finished”? Well just between you and me the jury is still out on that one. In a scenario everybody seems to agree on just after 3:00 PM on the cross Jesus said he was thirsty and was given some mysterious substance to drink, he drank it and said “It is finished’ and then went into a “swoon” presumably leading to death. Earlier on John we read the words “God sent his son not into the world to condemn the world but that the world might be saved through him”. Suppose the word “Jews” was substituted for the world “World” in that sentence. Suddenly the statement sounds highly problematical, doesn’t it. The Azteks had a myth I was talking to Wally with this morning about white men appearing from the sea. Well, that myth didn’t work out so good for the White man did it. Because those white people, representatives of Jesus, who said “He came to bring salvation to the world- - “ what if you substituted the word Aztek in there for “world”. Suddenly, again, the sentence wouldn’t work out too good. Some people believe there is no god at all. But others say it’s OK to believe that but the minute you Preach that message- - this “personal belief” of yours has now become a “Religion”. Of course people on the tea party right are convinced to a “metaphysical certainty” of all sorts of things that aren’t true.

Michelle Bachman merits individual notice here. The world according to Michelle is something else. She has now fallen to fourth in the polls and I’m surprised she is not actually lower than that. She now says that 59,000 terrorists from Yemen and other mideast countries are crossing our borders. She wants to build that electrified barbed wire fence. And she wants to go to war with Iran. Bachman says that President Obama was wrong to go into Libya in the interest of “regeime change”. She sounds like the Federation who put the story on one paragraph on page 26 or something. She says that Obama wasn’t thinking of national security when he went into Libya but only of “regeime change” and we don’t know what we’ve got now. “The story is not over yet”. And Michelle wants a flat-ter tax but not a flat tax. She wants to redistribute more taxes from the rich to the poor much as Ronald Reagan did in his 1986 tax hike, and Bachman specifically refers to what Reagan did. I told Jim Cooper “Reagan just cut taxes” and Jim came back and said “No he didn’t, I have to pay more taxes now”. But they had Bill Gates on after this. I wonder if the millionaires are going to form a 68%-er club where they point out that two thirds of rich people are perfectly willing to pay higher taxes.

Stu Sutcliffe says last night’s game should be scored as an “Incomplete” because of the time out call not being honored. Of course because of the flookish way in which the game ended people who bet on USC were out their investment. I don’t know who ever just had a seven point margin. Those weren’t fair odds right there. You have an undefeated team playing a has been “John Mc Cain” team with no chance at all. Of course my classic rule held, which is “In football bet favorites, in horse racing, bet on long shots”. I’ve found that a consistently useful strategy. Stewart says his beef against the Four Seasons consists of the fact that they are Neir Reigelians posing as “Jersey Boys” and there is a group that calls themselves the “Jersey group” that I refer to as “Brian Burne music” or what you call late east coast Du-op. They are from a star in the Cainus constellation that is one other than Sirius but they are friends with the Sirius 0 people. But they don’t have that gene. The word “Jersey” actually translates as something in this group’s native language. But Stewart was influenced by their music in the time he spent in Toronto in 1962. Also of course were it not for the Four Seasons being so popular the Beatles would have even gotten MORE radio air play. Of course it was a Mary Wells song that bumped Beatles from number one. That’s kipacetic. She was a Romulan. Not a Detroit Romulan, not a Toronto Romulan, but a Vancouver Romulan. But you knew that, didn’t you. Or you haven’t been reading carefully.

Like Michelle Bachman, this paragraph has been demoted from first to last. Before we get into the grim political stuff let’s do something on a lighter note, like the Ringo song that was popular when I was in lock up after my suicide attempt. They are playing it right now, Back Off, Boogaloo, in early May of 1972. Of course KLOS knows how to wave a red flag in front of a bull by mentioning that Stewart Sutcliffe news story about his sister Polly Sutcliffe saying that the “Love Me Tender” recording they played was actually Stu singing. “Snookeroo” was the Beatle song with “Halloween” in it. I should have known that because I have the album. They’re going to play it right now so we’ll listen. Frank Henshaw and Cabrillo Capeta on drums did a recording of that album with Frank singing the lead. This is a Romulan CMK song, of course, and they patterned the song after “Under My Wheels” by Alice Cooper. I thought of three other songs with Halloween in them, “Spooky”, “Aching to Get Me” again by Alice Cooper, and “Diamond Dogs” by David Bowie. They played a lot of Halloween songs such as “Beware of Darkness”, “I’m Looking Through You” “Savory Truffle”, which we all know John didn’t play on. Gloria says she was inside the Beach Boy’s house in Hawthorne when she was a kid. She’s one up on me. I lived near Hawthorne but can’t say I have ever been within the city limits in my whole life. Gloria was curious whether there were racial tensions when I was a kid and I said there wasn’t. I bragged to her that I was born in Centenila hospital, where all the athletes go. But you’re all waiting to hear my take on the Stu Sutcliffe thing. I’m only getting cosmic radio silence as far as any confirmation of the authenticity of that recording of Stu they played singing “Love Me Tender”. Yes I remember Stewart used to sing that song and I knew he had a high, sweet voice when he sang it- - but personally I don’t remember the vocal being that weird and if the deciding vote were up to me I’d give thumbs down on this recording. Let me pull a Captain Queeg on you all right now. “Did any of you notice anything unusual about that Helter Skelter recording?” Think real hard. There was no fade-out. Of course I like the mono mix of that song because the back up choros is brought up higher in the mix. You know there are a couple of Elvis songs with a real good steel guitar part- - - “Return to Sender” and “That’s Someone You Never Forget” and in both cases I’d bring the steel guitar up higher. And they played what might qualify as the first Heavy Metal song of all time- - not Summertime Blues and not Born to be Wild, but the very first Beatle song that I know of that used a tambourine. The lead guitar part kind of reminds me of a Big Brother and the H C song. It’s the ONLY song by the Beatles I sought to include in a list of “Soul songs” from spring of 1997. Here’s a good one for you psychics to go to work. It’s a song I’ve always regarded as a song about Stewart Sutcliffe- - and they definitely “set a new standard for themselves” on this one.

The Other Side of People and Things

I was watching Chris Matthews before dinner and the commentary was mainly on the political round-up of candidates once again. It was agreed that Mitt Romney is the only one of the seven anybody could even vaguely imagine occupying the Oval Office. Anybody who isn’t two dimensional, like a cartoon figure, has more than one side to them. Jesus Christ is a two dimensional cartoon figure. He has no reality other than what is drawn on the canvas, like Homer Simpson. People are real. Coins are real. When you flip a coin and it lands wither heads or tails- - it is falsity to say that good is the opposite of evil. The reality is in the coin itself and not merely the two dimensional aspect of it we happen to see. The same thing goes with God. A coin cannot be faulted for coming up either heads or tails, and God WILL NOT be faulted for coming up heads one day and tails the next. This is kind of like Mitt Romney, the classic flip flopper. He’s for believing in global warming in June and against it a couple of days ago. He is a bit unsteady on this Ohio proposition two. Of course Romney care and his position on gun control - - and the like is an ongoing quandary. Remember when I said the bigger the lie the more emphatic the person stating it. Earlier in his life he told this heart wrenching story about a good friend who had a back alley abortion and this “experience” convinced him that abortion should be legal. Of course now he says otherwise. We don’t know whether Romney is really a moderate and once elected president he will choose to serve ALL of the people. It would be nice if he “grew” like that. On the other hand how long do you think it will be he backs down and takes that 200,000 ceiling off his capital gains cut provision under tea party pressure? Marco Rubio is a first class phoney. Now a story comes to light that Rubio's parents were immigrants from Cuba who came here in 1956 well before there was any revolution threat in Cuba. But of course though he benefited from immigration he wants to "pull up the ladder" after him. Even though many people crossing the border here in California are refugees from places like Guatamala and El Salvidor where they do have real oppression. Gingrich is a tactless candidate. He says the reason he cheated on his wives because he was so dedicated to his work circumstances “prevented him from being faithful”. Maybe “in his heart” he doesn’t think he’s a bad person but I believe a man is ultimately judged on his actions and not how he “feels about himself”. We know he’s against Moslem mosques. Apparently he made vicious, cutting remarks about Tip O Neil all the time. Ron Rhodes told me 25 years ago he thought Gingrich’s problem was that he was arrogant. Of course there is his marital situation and that whole half a million dollar debt to Tiffanies. He is “the mean candidate” Chris Matthews reminds us. He would be our first “mean” president in quite some time. He has made inflammatory statements about everyone and everything. None the less he has risen to third in two different polls, a move we anticipated. Herman Cain may be popular because he is “not Romney”. You have to get a chuckle out of his “Imagine there is no pizza” song. But Cain has no political organization and seems to lack the basic discipline to even organize a Presidential campaign. He may be running just to get more press to promote his book tour. Ron Paul has now dropped behind Gingrich in the polls and appears to be fading. President Obama is far from perfect. It was pointed out he’s never had a real opponent. Mc Cain was Mr. Senile at the twilight of his carrier in 2008, and he faced an even weaker opponent in 2008. It is an open question whether Obama can hold his own in a debate because Hillary beat the pants off him in every one to one confrontation I’ve seen with them. The President has led a very secretive and elitist life and roomers persist he has some sinister “secret agenda” he had yet to unleash on us. This sense of Obama being like Romney in that he has no real convictions but will just tailor his course to the political winds is disturbing. In some ways his “Black” credentials are about as poor as O J Simpson in that he seems to be friends with all of the wrong people. Clearly the man cannot project confident leadership in a time of crisis.

Well USC is playing Stanford tonight and we hope that U S C whoops them good. Stewart is also a strong U S C partisan, not just because he usually routs for U S C, but we both hate Stanford – and I believe for the same reason, because of a particular alumnus who got his degree there. Stewart doesn’t mind going on the record as predicting a Trojan win. We talked a minute ago about a question raised in a Who song, which is “Can you see the real Me?” But it’s an open question as to a person even HAS an “essence” as we have talked about previously. Couldn’t the “essential nature” of any individual be defined just as easily by the perceptions of others, and that if he relies upon just the perception of himself he is getting an incomplete picture? Elvis Di Mira wanted Nicole as his campaign manager because “She knows me through and through”. This is a valuable asset if it’s handled right. Because they know what ploys to suggest that would be good for you that you could pull off well, as well as steer you away from pitfalls that others might see in time, but they do because they know all your weaknesses. Stewart told me that under some circumstances he could envision himself voting Republican if the other candidate running against him was horrible enough, but the ONE exception to that rule is Newt Gingrich. There aren't ANY conditions where one would vote for him for President. I said "Well what if he were running against Atilla the Hun or Mao Tse Tung?" Stewart said, "Well if the majority voted like me I guess we'd have Atilla the Hun for President, wouldn't we?" I said, "I guess so".

There is a major snow storm hitting the east coast bring snow before Halloween in Central Park for the first time since the Civil War. Clearly there is “climate change” in the world and only a fool would deny it. Perhaps we weren’t ready for Jimmy Carter’s energy “opus magnum” back in 1979 but many years have passed since then. This is the 21^st Century and energy development in a broad spectrum of areas has gone forward. Some people take no pride in living in California because it is a progressive state. They prefer to find refuge in a state like Texas or North Carolina that has both taxes and political climate more to their liking. My word to them is “Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out”. We in S C are having a nice little warm spell right now.

Quantas workers have gone on strike, I guess for the first time. The NBA strike will continue at least until the end of November without games being played. Nobody watches basketball till about Christmas day anyhow. Our troops were ambushed in Afghanistan and thirteen were killed. There have been various large earthquakes around the world. The defense in the Michael Jackson mal practice case clearly has their head up their ass. Gold continues to rise, which puzzles me. It’s got to be headed for a major crash and I mean a sharp, sudden one, and soon, if history is any guide. Bill Halliday has been the head of that church now for some 40% of it’s entire history and this church has had more pastors than Elizabeth Taylor has had husbands, and they precede back to way before my time. I have no idea when the next Republican freak show debate will be. Now Rick Perry says he may not participate any more of these. Smart move. In fact if they were smart they would call the rest of them off because Damage Control is working overtime already. If president Obama were smart, which he obviously is not, he would have in his next address a guest speaker who is an economist who has been around the block for a few dacades and gained experience, like I have - - and not someone who just fell off the turn-up truck in September of 2008. Clearly the American people already have political campaign fatigue and it isn’t even the end of 2011 yet. None of us can say for sure what unknown developments occurring in the next year that will figure into the political campaign that we are not aware of, but will assume major importance.

The Speck in Your Brother's Eye

Jesus did teach on judging. But he never said to give sin a pass. This is the example people quote about judging. "Do not take the speck out of your brothers eye when there is a plank in your own, but first remove the plank from your own eye then you can see clearly to take the speck out of your brothers". Clearly Jesus is teaching that your brother would be better off without the speck of sawdust in his eye. The question is to how about getting it out. But a lot of people tar brush the Wall Street prosters while giving their own side a pass. Shooting congressmen, blowing up government building,, murdering abortion doctors, picketing funerals of gay vetterans- - is all conduct they give themselves a pass on. One word I find particularly offensive coming from their side is the word "rebellion". Jesus of KFI called a woman who wanted to quit going to church "rebellious and petulant". Now Pat Robertson is calling the Wall Street protesters as "guilty of rebellion". I wish he would explain that one to me. Did we all elect a bank president or a C E O as President in 2008 or did we elect President Obama? So who is really guilty of "rebellion" here, if anybody is. Did Jesus of Nazareth teach one time that high taxes were somehow "Stealing from the rich?" I missed that verse. Now we are told that the Declaration of Independance and the like wouldn't be possible without the people that wrote it getting their ideas from the Bible. Romans 13 says we are to honor rulers (such as King George III) because his authority was given to him by God. Jesus said to pay your taxes. Verily, Jesus said "to go the extra mile". Jesus said to pray for the success of "those who persecute you" assuming President Obama is in this camp. I'm not anti Wall Street. How many times have I urged in my postings to go out and invest in stocks lately? In fact I am against eliminating the capital gains tax. Why? Because it's an incentive against "dis-investment". If people will know the tax is there they will have less an incentive to pull up business roots and move to Costa Rica, as people like Judy talk about. Also along these lines- - if a person has a choice of either stashing his profits in a Swiss account or going out and investing and hiring more workers - - will he be more likely to put his money in the bank with a higher - - or a lower tax rate. The higher tax is an incentive to invest in his business. And of course they said today that the rich pay 17% of their money in taxes while people in lower income brackets pay 24%. How is this fair? And I have already told you that a devalued dollar has only two drawbacks. If you are thinking of traveling to Paris this summer it will cost you more, and if you don't own gold already it will cost you more to buy it. Otherwise if anything a cheaper dollar has beneficial effects, such as helping our balance of trade. People like Dr. Levy don't want to believe this. And Jesus definitely taught against greed, miserlyness and suspicion. Should you see these things in your neighbor- - is it good to have more greediness in the world, or less? Answer me that. How is imitating and amplifying on the weakness of another a virtue. They say imitation is the best form of flattery, you know. Would you say that in general it's a good thing to pray for the success of your nation, or to pray for its failure, so you can alter the election results next year? Thom Hartman talked about awe and spirituality yesterday. If it in general a good thing to codify the inexplicable and the etherial into some sort of Hammarabi code that isn't changed for thousands of years but enforced at gunpoint on your enemies as you subdue them? And since did rape become such a good thing. In a thing I was watching today they said the obvious moral thing to do when a woman is raped by empregnation is to go on and raise the baby as her own. Don't you think one inailable right of a woman is to determine whom the father of her offspring will be? And also the thing is in error to say that rape is never dealt with by the death penalty. It certainly has been through the ages. This little segment kind of intoned that to love Nazism is to hate Christianity. How come Hitler's best friend was the Catholic Church? This little film kind of intoned that Nazism was somehow primarily a rebellion against Christianity. Tell me this- - who is it that prides them on strict laws against virtually Everything - - and it's the caprice of the government that determines whether the law will be enforced or not. If you say "Communist China" I would agree. But this was also the sentament intoned in this film. And just remember - - Jesus offered free medical care to everybody who asked. I am aware of no instance in the whole New Testament where Jesus refused to heal an individual. They talk about a God who would bleed and die for us. But then go out and defend multi millionaires who balk at paying a half percent more of their income to hire police, fire, and emergency workers. One of them told me last year "Our fiscle situation is so dire I'm not even going to vote for aids in law enforcement". Do you remember who complained about "government meddeling in private industry". Why, they will go so far as to "pick our pockets once a year" so employees can get Christmas off. That was Ebonezer Scruge, of course. And of course according to them the "right to contract with an employer" is in the Constitution. Actually I haven't seen that line. This is why these people defended child labor, because to abolish it would interfere with "a child's right to contract". Have you heard enough? Once people go down the road of moral rationalization they get farther and farther afield, till in the end they are taking the most extreme steps in defending what is no more than spiritual depravity. You remember what Peter Bailey said about Mr Potter. He said, "He's sick in his mind and he's sick in his soul". And that's where I'll leave it.

The Fundamental Phalicy of Limited Good: This is a pervasive belief among many. Clearly you see in in the people who "feel for" those poor rich people "who will get taxed by the government until they don't exist any more if this President gets his way". You've heard that one. Certain crises are shall we say "artificially generated". Such as sibblings fighting over who gets the biggest of pizza. They don't even think just to get more next time. You see it with a deliberate shortage of doctors, which is largely engineered by the AMA to keep their fees up. You see it in the resistence of the Republicans to solar energy, because energy from the Sun is free and it is a resource they can't corner the market on. You see it in the teachings of Jesus of KFI who essentially teaches "You can't have Good unless there is Evil to overcome". He makes good dependant on the existance of evil. You even see this teaching by George Burnes as God with his cute little "you can't have a top without a bottom" analogy. Also you see it in certain Bhudist teaching which one guy named Dr. Grouver explained was the delema of "If you have a limited ammount of fine wine do you dilute it for the masses, or do you treasure and save it and give it only out to people who climb the Hilalayas to seek you out on your Tibbitan mountain top? When put that way, limited good seems so pious. You see it in Gnosticism by implication teaching that God is so precious by nature than even God reproducing at all is in itself a sin on God's part because he must necessarily compromise his own nature. I refute this whole line of thinking in my own Prophecy book, of course in my karmic funnel analogy, courtessy Mark Campbell. In my model Evil is by nature finite, and good is by nature unlimited. However to refute the people who teach that "In God's sight we are all so similar because the difference between Adolph Eichman and Albert Sweitzer is infinetessable compared to the goodness of God. This teaching also is false. Good is an absolute level of moral perfection. It is not part of some "moral continuoum" like acids and bases or for that matter - - the political spectrim where people scramble to see who can position himself further to the political Right than his brother. Goodness is not some freakazoid extreme comodity where we wouldn't know it if we saw it. We all know good when we see it. It's an absurdity of people like Calvary Christians to teach that somehow goodness is so far out of reach- - like leaping off Huntington Beach pier and landing in one swoop in Catalina. God never in the Bible describes goodness like this. Evil on the other hand is both limited- - - but it IS an extreme. The moral here is that is you ARE at some "extreme" you are involved in some kind of Evil because Good is not extreme but Evil most certainly can be, and we see it in these right wing debaters and in the audience. But evil is also localized and limited. I hope people on our side find that reassuring. But there is no inherent shortage of good. Good is not something that "needs to be rationed" the way communist governments allocate government perks and resources. You can prove this easily. You say that God is infinite. You also say that God is good. If he is all infinite and all good, then how in the world can Good be limited? But the Neil Savedra KFI crowd balks at this line of reasoning because they don't want good to be as Solar energy, but rather they want to bottle it and ration it out and have control over it. The idea of "Peace breaking out" horrifies these people. Judy has said more than once to me "You can tell if what a Politician says is evil - - -if he preaches Peace". With an attitude like this what more can I say. These people NEED you to have problems. Just like they NEED abortion as an ongoing issue. They NEED you to not have a job or not be doing well in your business now. In other words, these people NEED evil. (Selah) If evil were to go away their whole reason for being would be gone. Neil Savedra trades on the name of a famous man because fundamentally he doesn't have faith in his own beliefs so he thinks if he can hide behind the beliefs and theology of others he is somehow "safe" from scruteny. Then these people can come back and threaten you if you should challenge them by saying 'My god is going to get you!" When you come right down to it, these people take the Lord's name in vain - - more pervasively than a drunken Austrailian sailor. If you doubt me- - maybe you will be afforded the "oppertunity" to "experiance" this all for yourself soon.

On a hopefully more cheery note we have the identify of that cosmic interventionist. One thing we can glean about him is that he's a Ringo file. Ringo is certainly identified with Romulans. Whether Ringo is another Beatle with the Sirius "O" gene is not positively determined. We don't want Ringo to fall into any jinxes. But I'll tell you a little secret- - - this jinx in question was not even a Pliades or Alcyonne jinx but a Sutteran jinx. Those are even more dangerous. (Sellah) I believe that people do have "hedges" or cosmic protection from certain evil forces that would do them in. I think people need to at times contemplate these things.

Well, the St Louis Cardinals live to fight another day. They say that at five different times in the game that St Louis trailed in runs, but came back. The game was tied up with a two run triple in the ninth buying them a whole tenth inning. They were down to their last strike trailing once again and they pulled it out. This is what you call perseverence, which is one of my seven cardinal traits, so to speak. "Never say die" is not only a hopeful attitude, but prudent, too. There is no percentage in listening to doubts which can only hinder you achieving your goal. I'm not postulating how the Cardinals will perform tonight, but one can have hope. They have "come back" many times this season. So - good luck St. Louis.

Finally we have one more mystery candidate. We have that "Dick Chaney" mystery. Did Dick appoint himself in this case? The mystery benefactor in the paragraph before last kind of hinted and intoned that indeed Dick Chaney did appoint himself. Let the reader understand what this means. This is an answer as to who was the "mystery John Lennon" during the psychidelic era and also the Rubber Soul, and the like, era. I'm still working on this one. When I get what I think is an answer, I'll let you know. Some people may wonder where Mark Campbell is now. Of course Mark Campbell's identity is about as secret as Steven Markato being Roman Kastivitz in Rosemary's Baby. He was the one who "identified" Mal Evans as a spirit entity around 1982. Mark and Mal have been close over the years but the word is that Mark has gone back to Andromeda, where he came from, and for whatever reason is no longer involved in Federation affairs.

Strangling in an Entanglement of Hyperbola

I used to think that the other side of the political fence had at least some truth and some facts that were actually true. But lately it seems as if that nothing that comes out of their mouths makes any sense at all and all of it is just hysterical rantings, like you’d expect of a mental patient. Now Sean Hannity is saying that the Wall Street protest movement is populated by “aging sixties hippies who never had a job”. Obviously two thirds of this group is under age 35 and a lot of them are college graduates drowning in student loan debt or government workers let go from their jobs, and a few older retired people worried about their pensions. Today Jerry Brown announced he was raising the retirement age of state employees from 55 to 67 or some twelve years. This move is long overdue, even I would agree. I’m sure there are many with underwater mortgages among this group. We told you all the lies the conservative right is saying about Freddy Mac and Fanny Mae. We told you that they will blame the Federal Reserve for the real estate crisis. They will not blame these bad debt packages where good loans were chopped up with the bad and how the banks pawned off these bad debts on other, probably at a personal profit. I don’t need to tell you the element of sheer greed entering in. You know about derivatives or bets on whether a loan would succeed or not. But about the most outlandish thing of all if banks betting against their own clients whom they have lent money to - - that they will not repay those loans. You may remember when Pete Rose bet on his own team in baseball and how he was excoriated by people like Wally George as to how he’d let a lot of young kids down in setting such a bad example. Yet there is no shame in betting against your own clients. I guess Judy sees nothing wrong with it since she has imputed the moral purity of choir boys to the banks and Wall Streeters. And we hear things like the Fed is committing treason because it’s keeping interest rates too low. Of course were interest rates to rise suddenly it would instantly make the deficit much worse and harder to pay back, which is just what these tea party people want for some perverse reason, probably because they inwardly fear that Barock Obama will still be President in 2013. Of course Bush and Karl Rove set the whole crisis up to break when it did. Their only regret is that the storm didn’t hit until inoguration day of 2009 rather than while still on Bush’s watch in September 2008.

Of course now people on the right must truly be fuming. The economy was up 2.5% last quarter on an annualized basis. So things are picking up, which is the last thing the tea party wants to hear. Today the Dow Jones Industrial Averages broke 12,000 for the first time in years, I’d imagine. This can’t be good news for them. Now the President is working on the problem of student loan repayment and underwater mortgages. This will ruin Mitt Romney’s plans to disposess all those people and buy up their homes for pennies on the dollar. Of course Rick Perry is doing the President’s job for him by attacking Romney on such issues as abortion and gun control. “A person doesn’t get to be over fifty years of age and suddenly reverse positions on such key issues”. And he has a point. Meanwhile Romney is getting the name of “Reversible Mittens”. If that name catches on, he’s sunk. At this point it’s just fighting to have some candidate for President who isn’t off the deep end of the right wing. Some of the niceties of other issues Democrats may wish to discuss among themselves can wait. The Holliday Season is coming up and it will be interesting to see whether Retail outlets have their best year in the past four or five years or not. Another bit of news that’s actually good that’s invariably “spun” as bad news is the exchange value of the US dollar. Low priced dollars are good for the trade balance with the rest of the world. Our goods sell cheaper and imports are discouraged. I think people like Dr. Levy have this half ass backwards. But then again the general illiteracy on basic economics is so appaling that yahoos on the right can get away with saying virtually anything and it’s accepted as gospel. But the attack level on the right is so bad Rush Limbaugh can’t even mention Barock Obama’s name without lapsing into some racial epithet. And he’ll attack any republican who “gets inhis way”. Rush will attack Collin Powel, he’ll attack Mc Cain, he’ll attack whoever.

And now in our religion segment I would like to clarify this whole “Gnostic” thing. I said that Born Agains were essentially Gnostic. This word usually connotes having a sudden transforming revelation from out of the blue and from then on you see everything differently and are a different person. But I’ve also said that the Calvary Chapel people owe a lot to Marcionism. Marcionism is kind of a perversion of Gnosticism, if you will. While Gnosticism says that the gods have become corrupted and that enlightenment is kind of a “tea party moment’ for them, if I may be so bold- - Marcionism is a little different. Marcionism evolved into more of a strictly bi-polar kind of thing. There was this good god, who spawned a bad god known as Satan or Jehovah or whoever who judges people. And the whole Universe is not only “somewhat corrupted” as Gnostics teach- - it has become virtually the embodiment of pure evil, devoid of any redeeming thing, save for the redeeming knowledge of Jesus Christ. But basically you have that “apple moment” where you are struck suddenly by a bolt out of the blue or whatever and undergo some life transforming experience that of course you can’t explain or put into words. So you go around bragging that you have “experienced a mystery”. And of course since you are now “Enlightened” nobody else in the world can see what you see and if you are criticized by others- - it’s just a symptom of their own “old nature” being manifest. And in case we forgot to say, anything “natural” is evil. Which makes you wonder why more of them aren’t gay since gay sex is “unnatural” so in their eyes, good. Well, I hope this has clarified things a little for you.

I’ve used the tag line of my adversaries as being Cowards, Liars and Hypocrites. These adjitives would most surely apply to certain commentators on the far right such as Dick Chaney, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and Glen Beck, none of which has served a day in the military and most certainly never seen combat. Of course I haven’t “proved my manhood” in military combat either, so I’m not condemning them too harshly. Of course to the extent to which they “evaded” rather than merely “avoided” the draft, one might call them cowards. I went in but I didn’t measure up. I flunked my physical. We hear these newly coined fantastic terms such as “Islamo-fascism”. Now we are hearing that the Wall Street protestors are “How the Nazis began”. So now the Nazis began as a democratic movement where corporatism was being attacked? I don’t think so. I know in my own case with my own family- - people’s memories are appallingly poor, and I would suggest deliberately so often during around the realities of situations 180 degrees. And the worse thing people do is rewrite history. So now we are led to believe that the founding fathers got each and every one of their beliefs on human rights and self determination from reading the Bible. I don’t think so. The authors of Days of our Lives are getting ready to dump a real LOAD of bullshit revisionist history on us. They are having us believe that a surgeon named Daniel Jonas in his early forties, kind of with that “seasoned” look, is in fact the son of a woman perhaps fifteen years older than he is, named Maggie Horton. But it gets better. Maggie had fertility problems as she got into her thirties. She was enseminated with Sarah in the summer of 1981. She wanted to have other children but her fertility was too low. So she had her eggs harvested in an attempt at invetro furtelization. Years went by and she kind of forgot about the eggs. Finally some doctor asked her if she wanted her eggs destroyed because he was selling his practice or whatever. She apparently said no. Now fast forward to about 1990. This would about the age Melanie Kiriacus was born because she is about 21 right now. We are however asked that the product of that egg furtelization- - - perhaps in the mid eighties was able to perform the sex act no later than 1989. I’m not buying it. Of course we hear these wild distortions of American History by people like Michelle Bachman and Sarah Palin, and people think it’s funny. These are the same people who say that Obama’s stimulus program has lost two & a half million jobs over the past several years. These are the people who talk about “ever increasing taxes for the rich”. Dr. Levy was upset a few months ago at the possibility of people earning over $250,000 having to pay four percent more income taxes and says “I might have to cut donations to my synagogue if that happens”. Well guess what? According to latest government figures the top one, and I said one percent of income earners pulls down $350,000 per year. So just what percentage do you suppose earns more than $250,000? I highly doubt whether Dr. Levy is or is in danger of being in this elite percentile. Oh- and by the way- - when the President had a choice in the matter he opted NOT to make this income group pay more. People convieniently forget this. People might well get on my case for my late dating the New Testament. Well let’s just check a few indisputable facts. One revolution is referred to in Acts led by a guy named Theudaus, which has NOT occurred yet when the story is alledged to have been written. Paul talks about the “school of Tyamis” in his travels. The trouble is this “school” didn’t get going till after the death of its “founder” and worship idol Apalonius about AD 105. Jesus excoriates the cities where he preached notably Cauparuaum- - saying they would be “thrown down to Hell” for rejecting his ministry and it would be more tolerable for Sodom and Gamorah on the day of judgement than it would for that city. In the early second century this city was destroyed by the Romans. So much for “gentle Jesus miek and mild”. Jesus makes a big thing out of the coin people pay their taxes in reminding people that it’s Ceasar’s image on the coin. This might be a reflection as to how that Messiah figure of the Jews in AD 135 in the Second Jewish War for a time had their own government where they issued their own coinage. At the end of John the author gets really testy about the line that “many said Jesus would come before the last apostle died” and the last apostle died and he had to explain it- - so goes on a straining at gnats mission. Justin Martyr wrote in AD 150. No doubt, you say, he named all four gospels by name? He did not. He did not know the names of any of them, nor that there were four but merely said some phrase like “the memwires of the Apostles” or referred to “The Gospell” in the singular. And just by the way no where does St. Paul even refer to Jesus rising from a tomb. And guess what? This tomb was unknown at the time. Nobody had heard of it. Nobody even knew where the city of Nazareth was because it didn’t exist. It’s a translation error and in the 3^rd Century they had to name a city “Nazareth” so Christianity would look credible.

Tea Party Not Happy With Debt Deal

There used to be a song played on Demento called "Life is too short to be Shy". It's about firing right back with a zinger when someone makes a disparaging barb about you. Of course some people make so MANY stupid statements that it's news when they don't. What has amazed me is the number of really looney responses to the Debt Ceiling deal of yesterday. Yesterday Rush Limbaugh said "The Obama side sought to blame the Republicans for having a default, if it came to that". Today Rush Limbaugh described the whole notion of a national default as an "Idle threat" and a "False narritive" because he says "Everybody knows governments don't have defaults". Tell that to Greece. Rush remarked about the drop in the stock market over the past eight days. By the way we may have seen the last of that for a while. People were saying it was the biggest drop of the year, and others said it was the biggest drop since 2008. Apparently the S & P 500 made new lows for the year. According to Rush - the market drop is because everybody on Wall Street knows this whole default thing was bogus, and the whole idea that there will be ANY debt reduction is bogus because Rush tells us, "There IS no debt reduction in this bill". Sarah Palin doesn't like this deal because the Defense budget gets cut. Glen Beck didn't like this deal one bit either. Rush then launched into a thing about how dieting causes the brain to eat its own brain cells. He says "This is why the Hollywood community is so stupid". But he added "Of course it doesn't matter if I lose brain cells because I still have the other half of my brain tied behind my back". I will say this. This debt reduction bill is a whole lot smaller than I would have wanted, or pushed for. But John Boehner rejected the four trillion dollar deal in favor of this one so take it up with him. This deal only reduces the national debt 2.4 trillion in a ten year period. In that period the debt will go from 14.5 trillion to about 28 trillion and now it is reduced to 25.6 trillion instead. We have to do a whole lot better than that or this debt really WILL become a problem for us. I imagine the unemployment rate will go up a notch or two when the next one is released. This rate is like backed up plumbing. It just isn't going to go down without some sort of decisive action.

Well I woke at three and got up and smoked two cigarettes. I was kind of just mad at God or whoever for having lived such an unproductive life. It was one of those mental musings. I thought of a dialog with God that might make a good script but I opted not to do it. Last week and last night I was thinking about those letters from Dad to his mother. There is one thing notably lacking in any of those letters and that is any sense of patriotism or being proud to be American. I thought that was the first thing they were taught in the military. There was no concerned for other troops fighting across the globe in the midst of World War II. What there was was a lot of talk about reading various biographies of Nepolian and listening to Beethoven’s Third, and comparing the comfort of various pairs of shoes, or collecting watches, or asking for money, or complaining you weren’t getting paid, or adverse remarks about the weather. And there were musings on the lack of intelligence of Chicanos in the unit. Of course I haven't even mentioned the circumstances under which he got his medical discharge. The circumstances have always been a little iffy. By the way techinally it was a General Discharge, rather than an "Honorable" discharge. They aren’t the sort of thing you’d frame in some lobby somewhere. His attitude tword me in the later years is a whole other matter meriting complaint to God. In this skit God acts like a total asshole similar to that “Dead Zone” series of dialogs with God and others in April and into Mayof 1996. I guess it was that relation with Dianne, a fellow tennent, that pulled me out of my depression that I had been in since about April first. She of course had that blond haired six year old son named Zach that was very chatty. I went back to bed muttering to myself “Don’t complain - - don’t complain”. This whole God thing was a road I didn’t want to go down now. I had some sort of a dream I think took place in the Bosc tract neighborhood. Often I’ve had dreams of living in a different house plan in that same tract that I’ve never been in. I think there was stuff about Alice Cooper and David Bowie songs from that ‘seventies era (pre Bosc house) and there was some movie they were promoting what seemed only a “few years back” (?) which was some science fiction blockbuster about the rapture or the end of the world, or some ongoing cult. Or maybe it was propaganda for the Ziggy cult come to life. Anyhow I woke from this dream and it was about 5:30 with a hint of getting light. And I thought about that “other life” I had dreamed about before. I got two “messages from beyond”. One was that “It’s such a relief to live in a young healthy body you’re about willing to pay any price to do it”. The other was "You know, Mal Evans has always been fond of you”. This remark rattled me and I’ll tell you why. Remember that time when Uncle Bob was running his mouth and he said “Of course [Marcus] always got the lion’s share of love from {Grandma”]. Somehow I found that remark offensive, as though there was something somehow unseemly about a close, affectionate relation with a loved one. Uncle Bob began making an increasing number of responses or remarks to or about me that were a little "off". I don’t know “where or who” (somewhere in hyperspace- - - ) this remark about Mal Evans originated. I would have been OK with, “Mal Evans is a really nice guy” or “Mal Evans admires your brain” or “Mal Evans thinks you have real potential”. I just didn’t like the way it was worded. It too much connotes “teachers pet” or something.

This is Wednesday August 3, 2011 and Judge Pirro is on. Generally it’s been less muggy and cooler today, which is better. I drowsed through noon hour Randy Rhodes. Well, Clowie’s pimp put Kate on notice to butt out of his affairs or she’d be sorry, and he added he doesn’t care who she is married to. Kinsey wants to be Clowie’s personal assistant. She can be my personal assistant any time. Just one question: Is Kinsey a whore? She intercepted one of the calls on Clowie’s cell phone and made an appointment with one of her perspective Johns. I find it admirable that she’s going to keep Clowie’s secret. Lets hope she means it. Meanwhile that “homophobe” friend scored last night with Kinsey. H’ll always have that one to hold over Sonny’s head. You know, “You took your lucky break and broke it in two – now what can be done for you?”

I went out to the courtyard and finally found a shady chair. I got two cups of iced tea from Dora. Then I listened to the rest of Randy Rhodes. In the morning I had Stephanie Miller on before and after breakfast, and I also had Thom Hartman on. In terms of that congressional committee of six democrats and six republicans, their recommendations cannot be amended. Someone had formerly said that the House, filled with tea baggers, could amend the thing, but that the Senate couldn’t, which has a majority of democrats. That wouldn’t be one bit fair. For lunch we had tomato and onion soup and crab salad. I got two extra dinner rolls, one from J W and one from Brenda, and had seconds on the salad from Ray. It was a good lunch.

We have "restored" a paragraph I forgot to include yesterday. And by the way if you think dying is any picnic, try liver cancer when you're only 46. By the way coincidentally, late April of 1993 was only days before the last time I saw my gray striped cat in early May of 1993. And speaking of dropped segments, I think the following is one the Simpson's could have used. Mrs. Hoover calls up Ralph Wiggam to her desk and says, "Oh, by the way we changed your web site from flotus to "flatus". Somebody else wanted "flotus" back. You remember that nice Black lady who spoke at our school a couple weeks ago. She thought "flatus" was just perfect for you." Ralph: What does "FLATUS" stand for". Mrs Hoover: "Oh - - that stands for First Lover At the Ultimate Site"." Ralph: "Bart Simpson E mailed me and he addressed me as "Your Royal Flatulance. What kind of nobility title is that?" Mrs. Hoover: "Not a good one, Ralph". Ralph: "You look sad, Mrs. Hoover". Hoover: "It's students like you that made me wish I had gotten that job at a department store demonstrating blenders. But the assistent manager said I sucked at and I didn't get the job". Ralph: "Did you suck at it because your name is Hoover?" Teacher: "You can go back to your desk now, Ralph".

THE FOLLOWING WAS TYPED LAST SATURDAY

I had the perfect title name for this file but now I can't remember it. It’s after 10:30 and Melinda Lee is just coming on. I haven’t heard her on the radio in years, since she was on KFI.She’s on KNX 1070. I listened to the Republican response to Obama at 8:07 and I counted off the false statements. Then it was the hit parade of “Fido Blue”. No that’s not a singing dog, but it featured classics such as “Cranberry Hill” and “Blueberry Fields Forever” and “It was a Berry Good Year”. It was a combination of blue and purple foods, including purple carrots, which are reputed to be very nutritious and tasty- - as well as added fiber in the diet. That was a Purity product on KTLK.

I’m brewing a second batch of coffee right now. Dr. Levy convened class just after 8:30. He just had car trouble with a nail in a tire. He just bought an optical projector that takes information from a computer and projects it on a wall or screen, and joked that he “couldn’t afford one with sound”. He got the thing hooked up without reading the instructions or anything. We watched a rather lengthly thing on American culture we didn’t finish because it was too long. Some of the accents were off. The Hillbillies didn’t sound “right”. And as an incarnation of Jess Ryder I can tell you people in rural New England don’t talk the way they talked on this segment. Ask Stephen King. He’ll tell you. They had the Texas-Oklahoma accents down pretty good. The NE people sounded more like southern Missouri like the Ozarks or something. They also had steel miners and wine growers and people working with horses on the continental divide. Dr. Levy skipped the rock music segment. He had that guy on a bike in New York weaving amongst traffic, and he is not long for this world. I don’t care how fast his reflexes are. And his accent sounded suspiciously Californian, and no local. They had an acrobatic airplane flyer from Florida, and they had some decorated cars, and some weirdo thing from a cold place. After this he played a long Van Morrison song called “Ancient Highway” or something- that must have gone on six or seven minutes. Watches don’t lie. He wanted to play another song but me and Rose said “No’. It was already seven after ten and often they’ve called snacktime by then. Then Dr. Levy gave away some clothing items. Finally at 10:13 they called snack time and it was a quarter after before we were able to get out of the room. I ate the football cookie he gave me. Then I took a whiz and smoked a cigarette, and then put on coffee. It’s ready now. - - - OK now it’s eleven.

Congress and the President - Punt

Well it seems on this whole debt crisis thing, all the mighty politicians have had their conclave and have given birth to a mouse. It only cuts federal expenditures 1.2 Trillion when the President had formerly agreed with that Gang of Six committed on a plan that would have cut the deficit 3.7 trillion. There are no new taxes of any sort in this plan nor any sort of “revenue enhancement” at all. As such the plan is a major flop all around. It doesn’t make the hard decisions on cutting bloated government programs. All those decisions are left to some Committee yet to be formed, that presumably cut another 1.5 trillion from the federal budget and if it fails to act certain “triggering mechanisms” kick in that apparently cut only “discretionary spending” and won’t touch the major entitlements. But these cuts will take a major bite out of Defense. As such this whole agreement is a major Defeat for the whole tea party set, and I scarcely see how any of them can be one bit happy today. Clearly Obama could have had this agreement weeks ago if he hadn’t been just milking the events for the media drama or whatever. As president this would not be my style. I would place much more importance on “just getting it done”. It still isn’t “done” even now. The Republicans have voted to approve the plan but we still have to hear from the U S Senate. Gabriel Gifford made a surprise trip to the House. 269 to 161 was the vote in the house, which wasn’t even close. I don’t think either side has been honest about what they themselves have done to facilitate any agreement. Neither side has been eager to admit their own faults. As the Adult in the room I’d have had much more respect for the President if I didn’t feel he was milking this whole situation just to say to the world “Look, I’m a victim”. He’s always said invoking the fourteenth amendment was an option “not on the table” but he never explained why. If I’m saying these things here, you can bet the tea party will be saying them next year. They will repead ad-nausium how the president wouldn’t “Let them make the sort of cuts in the budget they wanted”. All the time that was squandered in this political circus could have been put to much better use debating and passing constructive jobs bills.

Last night it was ABC network news and later On the Red Carpet. I made coffee. I did not even check to see if the Mormons were having a gathering. They had a picnic at a park in Anaheim near to church meeting place we used to addent, that’s also near Justin Martyr Church and school. Somebody apparently lit a fire in the sanctuary. I was never invited to the gathering. I should have been more proactive in asking questions.

Sixty Minutes had that slot machine addiction segment from January. Then they had a thing on how Brazil may be the nation of tomorrow. It had a “different kind of capitalism” and that includes helping the poor and high taxes. But the people don’t mind. Then there was that Simpson’s episode I’d never seen the very beginning or the very end of the episode before, but I had seen all the rest of it. Then it was Cleveland Brown. Bill was watching it avidly.

There is a space craft taking pictures of the asteroid Vesta, on its way to Ceres, which I guess is the largest asteroid. Vesta is the size of California. It would seem the visit would have to be a fast fly-by as even at that size, an asteroid would have very little gravity.

THE FOLLOWING SUFFERS FROM A SEVERE DERTH OF NEEDED INFORMATION VITAL TO ANY KIND OF REAL INTELLIGENT ANALYSIS

I would like to address this Wayne Dyre thing about the individual somehow “magnetically” attracting either good or evil into their lives. Suppose it were true, and I don’t believe it works that way, then you would have no more personal control over that than Uranium 235 would be in “deciding” whether it wanted to be radioactive or not. I believe the “script” in our lives is written before we were ever born. Hence I believe our body habitation and physical and psychological environment were pre selected by karmic forces of a predestined nature the mechanics of which to fully explain would take a mind far greater than mine. I think it’s an aggregate of all our past incarnated lives plus all the time we’ve spent in hyperspace in-between lives. But I will say this. We know there is a “psychic plane” that is somewhat karma related where our angels and demons (to quote St. Paul) act out the destination of our lives either in some football, or chess match, where the goal is to control as much of the board as possible. Perhaps the game is “Risk” in the one sense that it is pluralistic or many competitors. I do not believe WE here on this earth NOW can influence or express our Will over how well those “Players” in the psychic plane perform. In the book of Daniel it alludes to we on earth being pawns in some “grand psychic battle” carried on in outer space or somewhere. So are we Ourselves ever “players”, like between lives or something? St. Paul would almost imply we can be two places at once and be at once both players and pawns, depending on the “dimensional point of view”. I don’t know. Are there “times of battle’ and “times of repose and recreation” in the after life? These remain unanswered questions. There’s just no information. To illustrate this in "physical" terms, then each group of us has their own psychic theater of combat. Unlike parellel universes, these planes can and do cross. Hence one person could be either a "player" or pawn on more than one plane. But nobody can leave the plane or planes they are on. Certain people are never in our psychic realm of continence or influence, either us or them, or them of us. One might ask is it possible to “make a bad decision” and “walk into something that’s none of our business and be adversely affected by it?” That’s always possible but only if our Decision to do so is predestined ahead of time. Things are destined TO either happen or to NOT happen. It is interesting now often strangers avoid being adversely affected by a “battleground” between others, simply because they know “You are not ONE of us”.

What about the one dimensional or some would say “Zero space separation” between “great minds that think alike” or whatever. First of all they need NOT think alike. Conversely - -Two people who have the same idea may never meet and remain unaware of each other’s existence. The success of the ideas of either ONE of the individual’s ideas, or of Both ideas or Neither- - is more or less an independent function. However, as the Federation teaches, Ideas DO have their own karma. Often a term such as "gravitas" in the year 2000 will invade our language and become pervasive. Often diverse prominent rock groups will make a decision TO begin making psychedelic albums or likewise all STOP making psychedelic albums. A psychic connection, or one could say “A connection in hyperspace” is like “a connection in Cyberspace” in this one way. In cyber-space you have an E mail address or a web site IP address and the computer looks for a match and when it finds on a port in the fire wall opens up and you’re connected. Something similar happens with psychic connections. It isn’t a matter of “brain waves” traveling through “ether” either. We’ve explained “ether” doesn’t convey those kinds of intelligence signals. But I do believe each Soul is given some sort of “code” be it an access code or whatever- - and it’s destined to “connect” with others who have that similar “code” in their DNA or whatever. Tertulian says your Soul has your parents DNA. This is NOT a belief that I have, though I would not dismiss it entirely, particularly if you’re an anti-abortionist crusader. I believe if the connection is strong enough you can astro-project into their body. You can at least share information, and if they lack proper awareness, they may not know whence they got it. And I do believe you can also get input from a geographic location. I guess you could call this a one dimensional conic portal or whatever. Somehow the “essence” (soul?) of the place is conveyed to you. So you can have mind to mind information transfer, and even mind to will transfer (this one is problematic to me) or you can have mind to location transfer, or perhaps even mind to body transfer. All these could be classed as one dimensional “commerce” in zero space, or hyper space. I may hammer these ideas out a little more.

Some may ask how material matter - - normal atoms and molecules - - can possibly exist in Zero space? After all people would argue "Positive matter exists in positive space - negative matter exists in negative space - - there matter must be zero mass to exist in zero space. But again two apparently different "realities" or perceptions can both be ongoing and both true at the same time. But what if an object like a space ship - - gets there by out-running light 3 to 1? Well we know such a ship has "left its radius point of gravity field emanation behind. So right there the vessel is "disembodied". It can be argued that if gravity has mass as its causality, then the mass, too, is left behind. As such were another space ship "of like nature" were to impact it, and we know under Newtonian law objects are stopped by mass, and without mass, no slowing can occur, we may infer no hinderance of damage to - either ship would occur even if they should collide because their "materiality" could not be located, for it has been displaced. So "what" does the ship encounter? I think the “null space” from that StarTrek episode is illustrative. The answer is in my view of special relativity where I say that things only SEEM to shrink or stretch because light’s speed is limited. Actually, given one condition, the two ships could well travel side by side or whatever and view each other perfectly and properly gauge the distances between them. This would be if there were somehow a storehouse or "bubble" of ether to conduct the light waves. They could not communicate with each other because there is no ether. Obviously the interiors of both space ships would hold real space and as it were possess a ‘bubble of ether”. Maybe there would be a cloud of ether around each ship so that as you looked out tword the other you’d have the sensation of looking through fog. There are too many unknowns here. Light can’t travel through space without ether. As to what hyperspace would “look like” in this material body- - any screen writer’s imagination will work just fine here. It could be TV snow, it could be grayish with random color streaks. But I have the sneaking feeling it won’t be black. One may well ask, does our WILL or consciousness or whatever you call the essence of "us" have to somehow become completely detatched from the body to as it were "turn on the electronics" and be able to "do all that mind stuff"? One might say "is there reality to our imagination, or SOME of it, anyhow. If you play a stylus on a record groove it makes noise even without any amplification. Could this "fleeting vision or impulse" or whatever BECOME "Real" or amplified to the extent we indeed perceive it as something substantive and real? You can't see a TV broadcast signal with even a large optical telescope. But you can turn on any cheap TV and get a panorama of TV stations. The $64,000 question has always been "How do you GAIN that ability - - when you don't have it now? The only analogy that comes to mind is that our brains NOW are so preoccupied with a million things and duties and sensations we routinely ignore, but that all this information somehow "jams" the psychic signal so that it becomes inoperative.
