All The Nuts Swing Down From the Trees

Just when you think you've seen and heard everything pertaining to the right wing fringe, they still do something to surprise.  This time it's cattle ranchers in Nevada.  It seems this one rancher hasn't paid any federal land grazing fees since 1998, or sixteen years ago.  Now he owes close to a million dollars.  Of course he's a multi million dollar cattle rancher so he can well afford it, and every other cattle rancher using that land for grazing pays his fees to the Federal government.  But this guy is intent on making some sort of Ruby Ridge or Waco incident out of it.  He DOES know what happened to those people doesn't he?  Does he Really want to go down that same road?  But now he's dragging Majority Leader Harry Reid into the thing.  He's saying that Harry Reid secretly met with people in China and the government wants to use that land to erect a whole lot of solar power collecters.  So he's killing several birds with one stone.  He's playing the "eminent domain" card.  The trouble is - it was never his land.  If he's one of these "Self made businessmen" Rush talks about- - he didn't do it without having that land for the cattle to graze on.  He's playing the China card.  He's also being political in going after Harry Reid, which those on the right can't stand.  And by the way he's also taking a jab at alternative energy sources.  Isn't it ironic that in Nevada where the farmers DO own their land - - the Tea Party sides with the federal government saying they should give up rights to land they own- - and let the government and Trans Canada did it up.  But in this case where they DON'T own the land, the tea party sides with as it were the dead beats.  This story will not have a happy ending for him.

Then we have the hysterics of Rush Limbaugh.  Who is like this guy who rambles on about anything and it takes a trained expert in Rush-samantics to get even a glimpse of what Rush is talking about.  We know Rush is mad about some waffle restaurant.  We know Rush is mad because Stephen Cobert is now replacing David Letterman on CBS.  Now Rush is going after college educated people with degrees and unable to find a job.  Rush of course calls them spoiled, and this caller Rush had on his show echoes that charge.  This random caller claims to "Have started from nothing in business and now has made something of himself" and even alluded to "selling the business" presumably for a tidy profit.  But I never caught exactly what this guy did to become successful, only that he did.  He kept saying he was a self made man and not like all these college graduates- - and didn't depend on the government but had individuality and character- - and of course did the usual ammount of President Obama bashing.  But I don't know WHAT the guy made- - or just HOW he got successful or WHO helped him- - or anything.  If I didn't know I"d say this was a Plant caller.  Just before this caller Rush was talking about Hillary Clinton and her husband.  He mentioned two famous staged events the Clintons did while in the White House.  One involved being eyed by a sniper with a tele photo - - - lenz, not gun site (but it could have been, apparently).  And he just "caught" Bill and Hillary dancing with joyous expressions on their faces listening to a radio that seemed to be a prop- - - and then the Clintons complained about the photo- - which only insure that even More people saw it.  This was a staged photo right before the Monica Luinsky story broke.  The other incident involved walking on Omaha beach and happening on a certain number of well places stones or pebbles out there in the middle of nowhere along a deserted beach.  The camera focused first out to sea and then panned back and let you see this lonely figure looking contemplative walking on the beach.  It was Bill Clinton.  He just happened to see these stones (there were no others on this beach) and Clinton spontaniously arranged these stones in the shape of a cross.  Later Rush accused Hillary of having planted questioners in this crowd just to insure that a question about Global Warming would get asked.  Apparently what they do is come to you and say "Do you want to ask a question?" and then they give you a choice of several pre formulated questions on a sheet of paper they have prepared text answers for.

The difference, in case you haven't noticed, is when they came after the Clintons and called him a lying, phillandering, pot smoking draft dodger, that Bill Clinton was indeed all of these things.  Because Clinton, so the argument goes, was a white man- - they needed real incidents to pin on him before attempting to bring him down.  But with President Obama they can use all the usual groundless charges because "after all he's a Black man so he's already half condemned in the eyes of many people".  It takes just the slightest whisper of anything wrong to fan the sparks of inate racism into a raging fire.  So you have all the usual code words.  He was born in Kenya, and he's a Moslem, and he eliminated the requirement of Work for Welfare Mothers,  and he gave amnesty to illegal aliens.  According to a thing Judy sent me- - Canadian late night comic TV is replete with jokes about how in the United States that Latinos routinely get free citizenship and amnesty and voting rights as their reward for illegally crossing the border.  According to this same source- - nobody in America questions your right to vote even lacking a photo ID.  I have more than a little reason to believe there IS NO "Canadian late night talk show" as they described like this.  Then we have Bengazi, and of course Fast and Furious, where Obama wanted to stage a gun incident- - with the Mexican mafia, in order to gin up support for firearms control because after all America is such a normally peaceful country with no gun violence events.  Then of course there is this notion of "Going after right wing groups via the IRS".   They of course can't name a single group that was denied tax status- because of their political beliefs, and neither is there any connection to the President.  And yet with Governor Christie- - his subordenate works at a desk ten feet away- - but Christie and she never talk about- - anything, apparently.  This is the most bogus of all the charges because the Story is that NONE of these groups even Deserved to Have the tax exempt status they Received.  But nobody on FOX news points that out.  Now they are calling the shootings at Sandy Hook- - some sort of a "staged event" and that the bombings at the Boston Marathon were some "false flag opperation" or something, where an Arab student "pretends to be a victim of the bombing, but he's really the one who organized the thing to begin with".  This list of hysterical and irrational right sing charges never lets up.

Terry Hill showed up during lunch as I was lost in thought about something.  Mark was in Timothy.  Terry brought with him a bag of carrot and raison muffins, and they aren’t the least bit gravely or grainy.  It was a filling lunch with the muffins, and Teresa had at least two, and really rich, thick soup like a meal unto itself.  We had pizza and a green salad with grapes for desert.  Terry talked about the Captain America movie.  Terry said that he just watched the opening ceremonies to the 1980 Moscow Winter Olympics.  Terry has a way with research digging down for deep topics.  He’s kind of like “Me” on steroids.  He said that the Romans got the idea for Pizza from the Jews because the soldiers were hungry and there was all this unlevened bread and the Romans thought, “This bread is so bland, we need to put something on it”.   Terry’s mother is turning ninety, and just got over a case of pneumonia.  Terry had lunch with us.  I told him about that possible bank trip, which most likely won’t be till the week after this coming one.   I got the least filled coffee cup today - - and I’ve seen that happen a couple of times before lately.

Finally, there was a little pow wow between Raphael Hernandez and E J Di Mira on Days of our Lives today.  I think E J is about to let Raphael in on the little secret that six of them have been carrying around - - that there was an attempt made on Nick's life- - and Nick hasn't gone to the police about it.  It's hard to know just how Raphael will react to this news.  If it's like everybody else let in on this hasty secret he will be shocked at first, and then suck in a breath and then sigh and say "You're right.  We have to keep this all quiet" and he'll join this rather elite little kabal on the show.  Samantha once again voiced sentaments that she's like to see Nick Fallon dead. Elvis of course reminded her, "Samantha we've gone down this road before.  Do you really wanted to again be indebted to my father?"  Indeed!

Heaven Tonight

Get ready for the “blood moon” the most Googled phrase today.  Griffith Park ovservatory isn’t usually open on Monday nights but it will be open tonight in anticipation of total lunar eclipse watchers as well as Mars at its closest distance to earth, which would also put it at opposition and the most severe retrograde.  The lunar eclipse starts after ten and enters totality around midnight.  However technically calendars inform us that the full moon comes tomorrow night and the eclipse won’t be in prime time on the East Coast.  Passover is starting right now but Dr Levy informed us he won’t be doing the sadir till tomorrow night due to scheduling difficulties, which is permitted in the Bible.   He intends to eat nothing but unleavened bread the whole week.  So far Charlton Heston hasn’t been heard from this year.  We got stuck with a tuna sandwich I think gave me indigestion.  I got a Philly from Paul, and those things are known for their harsh smoke.  Everybody missed the Peace Sign final on Jeopardy.

I tuned into Sean Hannity.  Today he had a fourteen year old guest on who when he was four claimed to have gone to heaven and come back.  This story strikes me as highly bogus.  But I’ll tell you what made me the MOST suspicious of the story in that they said “Everything in his story conforms to the Bible”.  Since the Bible says not one word about ANMYONE going to heaven and coming back- - there’s a lie right there.  We are told that “I saw Jesus standing on the right hand of God”.  When asked to describe God he said “Well, he’s really hard to look at- - and he has the whole world in his hands- - so he’s pretty big”.  Then how could you possibly say “Jesus is on his Right?”  We are led to believe that gravity is the same as here and we are in humanoid bodies.  And yet he says “But we do have wings and we can fly”.   Here he really stepped in it.  Even if humans had wings as perportionately big as bird’s are with their bodies- - they still couldn’t fly.  I learned that from John Mulack back at the Palm Street house.  Because all birds have a much lighter skeletal structure than mammals SO they can fly.  Then he talked about the pearly gates of heaven.  He said “These are necessary and they are guarded with a legion of angels all the time to keep out intruders, because Satan has tried to get into heaven several times”.  So here we “learn” that- - Heaven is a finite, localized place and that there apparently is a whole other Realm that encircles heaven kind of like Ukraine encircles Crimia.  Then there is all that stuff about the miscarriage and conversations his father had with his grandfather when he was young.  I don’t believe it.   He also advises “You know- - there really is no Time in heaven, as we know time”.  And yet later on he said “There came a point when Jesus told me “You have to go back because this or that relative prayed for you”.  So here we know that “you don’t have the past and future all at once” or anything, but events happen that you didn’t know about and were unanticipated.   You’d have to throw John Calvin out because if Jesus changed his mind about whether he could stay based on a prayer of a relative- - even Jesus changes his mind.  Sean Hannity kept asking him question trying to bring him back to some kind of rational answer to things people want to know.  The lad said that “We are aware of everything that goes on in the world down here- - but of course have no power to communicate with anyone in any way”.  I think if I personally I had the experience as proported to happen here- - I don’t think my first instinct would be to make a Hollywood movie out of it and charge the public eleven dollars a person to experience my story.  With everything I have told you- - it still seems to me a long way away from material to fill a two hour movie.

Snow is predicted for tonight in Chicago.  You have to keep in mind in other parts of the country- - spring can mean drastic drops of temperature and a turn to more violent weather.  The temperature will drop forty degrees back east. Of course those on the right say "You see - we're having one of our most stormy spring seasons in a long time so this disproved global warming".   Of course there are times in our lives when "the winter of our discontent" seems to just go on and on.  That's how I feel when I look at my bank balance.  Last year around the spring equinox, Janet had this burst of generocity where she shared a lot of food with everybody.  It probably comes as no surprise that this scenario did not repeat itself this spring.

Actually they said something parents of small children have known for decades and that is not to get into an argument on an empty stomach with low blood sugar.  First put something in your stomach because our brains are wired to go into an aggression mode on low blood sugar.  It would seem that half of us are wired with “the confidence gene”.  Actually they tell us that one’s overall confidence is fifty percent accountable to this gene and the other half by attitude.  In other news they now have one of these sizemological devices- - that measures vibrations in the ground just in case an elderly loved one living with you falls “and they can’t get up”.   There is talk anew of hydrogen cars.  But you can’t just snatch hydrogen out of the atmosphere.  But you fans of the Hindenburg know that hydrogen is easier to obtain than helium.  You have to manufacture the hydrogen using electricity- -so you still can’t get around the power problem.  The only possible upside would be is if you can store more compressed hydrogen in your car than you can store a charged battery.   Google glasses go on sale this week with some question as to whether law enforcement regards them as legal to be seen driving in.

It would seem as if progressives have just “given up” on 2014 despite pleas from people like Stephanie Miller and Ed Schultz, who remind us that November is a long way off.  That doesn’t matter.  The media tells us that the democrats are going to lose both the House and the Senate this year and don’t even come out to vote because it’s useless.  Meanwhile we know how active states like Ohio and Florida have been in denying Blacks, students, and the poor the vote.  And personally, in case I haven’t said, this would be a suitable time for the US Supreme Court to step in and “Federalize the electoral process” just as in times of emergency, they “Federalize the National Guard”.   I would call the loss of our electoral democracy an “emergency”.  How about you?   But everybody just wants to be “left alone” as Howard Beale lamented in ‘Network’.  People are like lemmings and do and believe whatever the media tells them to.  Of course we do have something to get newly "Mad as Hell" about.  Now the talking heads are saying "There is nothing wrong with all the voting restrictions we have taken in many states.  There is no evidence that in 2012 for instance, Black voting was down due to voting surprssion".  I find that one of the most profoundly INSULTING REMARKS I have heard in a long time.  Because there was extrordenary work to get blacks and the poor to the polls in November of 2012.  So to translate the saying "There is no evidence of reduced minority voting due to our efforts" this would go something like 'Those niggers aren't going to get the best of us.  If they are going to come out to the polls to express their will, then we'll just have to Double Down on voter surpressiion they their spirit is broken", in the same they they bragged they were going to "Break Obama" and defeat the Affordable Care Act in March of 2010.  You know in Nazi Germany the people at large were amazingly docile and they were almost looking for an Excuse to believe whatever propaganda "the regeime" put forth.  This “roll over and play dead” philosophy extends to the Ukraine.  The Russian sympathizers are strengthening their hold on cities in the eastern Ukraine, and the rest of us are doing nothing about it, and every time Putin comes out on top.  We send in a destroyer, and Putin’s plane “buzzes it”.  And the nation of Ukraine threatens military retaliation- - and nothing happens.  It’s a disgustingly depressing state of affairs right now.  Apparently there are more anti “economic austerity” riots in France, where the people protest a little and then law enforcement comes in with their Billy clubs and “pacify” the area.  We lack the will as a nation to declare an economic war on Russia but are so addicted to fossile fuels- - we have no trust in our ability to come up with any sort of alternative- - and so even nations like Germany will not go along with ideas we have about how to deal with Putin if it means various countries will be cut off from their “energy fix”.

On Days of our Lives- - now Raphael is physically threatening Nick Fallon and it looks like this time he’s really going to beat him up.  So you’re thinking- - Nick is that guy who took Gabriel’s virginity from her and got her pregnant and then tried to talk her into getting an abortion and then married another guy.  What?  You say that wasn’t Nick?  Oh - -that was Will Horton.  Raphael when he first learned of the pregnancy and that Nick was responsible was furious at Nick- - but then when the truth came out and it turned out Will Horton was the one who de flowered his sister- - then everything was all just fine.  Go figure.  Someone’s moral compass is broken.  We know that Teresa Donavin deserves to be in jail several times over.  The people she despises most are the ones who have done the most for her.  Dr Jonas saved her life and it’s because of Jennifer that she wasn’t shipped back to Los Angeles.  Then we have Nicole and why she isn’t blowing the whistle on that medical drug distributor - - is beyond me.

Este Ciempre Asi Con Tyranus

When it comes to picking Me to read it's strictly WYSIWYG
"What you see is what you get"
This is April 13, 2014 and what I call “Sun Dial parody time” because it’s the only time of year when you’ll get the correct reading (Standard Time, of course) on your sun dial AND there is another equivalent period on the other side- - like Aug 31 or September first, when the sun is also in meridian sync.  Today is “Liberty day” in the Andromeda Federation because President Lincoln is seen as kind of a despot and bringer of War there, and they are in basic sympathy with the Virginia state motto of “Sic Cemper Tyranus”.   It isn’t that Andromadans love Slavery - -  it’s just that they hate War more – involving over 550,000 battle field deaths.  Show me any slave plantation where the death rate is near that high.  I like to Spanish it up a little saying “Este Ciempre Asi Con Tyranus”, just to provide a little better elucidation of the meaning, in the spirit of “Si, se puede hacer”.   It’s Thomas Jefferson’s birthday, of course, who is the author of individual “Rights” and liberties.   It’s also the day I finally had my first encounter with you-know-who in Leslie’s bedroom at the Palm Street house”.   And in case you are wondering, you Avatar freaks- - I think I was personally the happiest in the past twelve odd years around here- - in the period where I was in contact with Valerie S on the Green Harbor excoursions, which would be from early September of 2004 to early August of 2005.   What we have is a richness of things to say, but nothing that would work in a blog posting, not that I’d let that stop me from posting some sort of crap anyhow.  “Fresh Books” is the latest tax program that’s going to save the day for you.  They have a new policy now with the Obama administration saying if your deceast relative- - was over paid Social Security in 1977 then they will take it out of the survivor’s four thousand dollar tax refund - -THIS year.  That hardly sounds fair at all, and people are trying to petition congress to see if they don’t agree.  And of course it’s coming up on the one year anniversary of the Boston Marathon and “Boston Strong” and all that.  Now the Arkturus “Star System” will be commemorating the anniversary of the Boston bombings - - and it’s assumed that the Pikes will do the same thing- though we haven’t heard on that officially.  Of course the rock groups “The Cars”, “Aerosmith” and “Boston” are all Bostonians and all Arkturian groups.  I Phones still don’t have “Zoom” so just invest in a “point and shoot” camera.  I haven’t called Mom back to see if she ever got her first cell phone, which she says she’d have no use for- - but she’ll be getting one - - apparently just to join the 21st Century.   It’s five to one and Dr Levy will be coming along soon with a big bunch of nothing.  So like some would argue “How is that different from your blog postings?” – ha, ha!

The more modern gadgets there are the less time we all seem to have.  That’s one of the modern paradoxes.  In France they passed a rule that employers had to leave their employees with eleven uninterrupted hours at home per day without sending them an E mail.  I’d like them to pass a law like that here because I suspect bosses are getting more and more intrusive in a way that never would have been accepted a hundred years ago.   Leo Le Port is just now coming on for his second hour.  We are in “Ocean”.  Today is Palm’s Sunday, which is an easy fact to forget these days.  Breakfast with the Beatles was on and they had a Liverpudlian who claims to be the sole survivor of Badfinger or something.  Mal Evans used to be associated with Badfinger but now doesn’t want to be reminded of those days and can’t stand to listen to Badfinger music.  Also Mal Evans, along with Lennon, hates the song “Back Seat of My Car” for reasons yet unknown.  Just about all the songs KLOS played were from the “Straight Up” album, and I did not hear a single song from “No Dice”.   I listened again and I guess it really is a cowbell in “Hard Day’s Night” and not a metal pipe.  Just listen carefully.  But Chris Carter said that “I Saw Her Standing There” was written “in a single day in September of 1962” but they have in the past played a recording of “I Saw Her Standing There” at the Cavern club in March of 1962 when Pete Best was still on drums.   They concluded with “Good Bye, My Love” which is Paul Mc Cartney singing in his “Blind Owl” voice.  They had an eleven year old kid whose guitar playing if he works at it will be as good as Laurance Jubar, but as you know, I think the kings of Wings lead guitar are Harry Mc Culloch and Jimmy Mc Colluch.  There was talk about working with George Harrison both with Badfinger and also “All Things Must Pass”.   The scant piano playing you actually hear sounds to me like Nicky Hopkins.   They say that Derek and the Dominoes had the run of the place then.  My blogger numbers are in the tank.  It seems as if I’m not the only person who has doubts about whether Friday’s blog was good or not.

I had Harry Reid on talking about the pointless thirty hour delay in voting for a female judge of the Ninth Circuit Court, which has been pending for at least nine months.   Reid correctly points to this “post cloture rule” as a pointless waste of time.  How can it be anything else when you have already decided that the very NEXT thing you’ll do is vote on it?  (?)  Then there were Paul Ryan and the rest of these Republican clowns talking about how wonderful the Republican budget is they are voting on which signified nothing since we already HAVE an approved budget.  It’s all just for show of the cameras.  Nancy Pelosi spoke empassionedly along with another male democrat.  She said that “Where your treasure is, there where your heart be also”.  Truer words could not be spoken and you might say her Bible quite was “inspired”.   (Of course all Bible quotes are “inspired”)  The question is whether the chamber can see the issues spelled out clearly in black and white right in front of their face.  The democrats had statistics and numbers.  All Paul Ryan had was rhetoric- - and another endless retreat into the same Obama Care clichés about how you really can’t keep your doctor.   It just seems that some fine day these Yahoos from the middle of the country have to realize that they are being screwed just as much by this budget, which relies on a many times disproven “trickle down” economic theory, and it will actually make the deficit worse.  To him the only remedy to “socialism” is starving students, the poor, and the elderly.

The Coachella music festival is in Indio now.  That isn’t a county but perhaps they should secede and become one.  We had one of these chicken and rice “casserole balls” for dinner, and out of character for these people, it was almost stone cold.  Only the mixed vegetables were hot.  The dinner roll was cold and hard, and I imagine with a high gluten content.   For the second day in a row the guy had us line up for seconds, which really speeds the process up.  We had vanilla ice cream for desert.  Glen agreed on the spot to give me instant coffee for 35 cents, but I raised it to forty when he offered hazelnut creamer, and said “I think you need a little more coffee in there”.  As per the usual for lately I got handed this week’s copy of “The Week” on “Free Speaking”.   I’m kind of out of mental ideas for anything.  I checked old old bookmarked sites like that State Legislature control one, where they have this “line” you can’t go east of to get a state- - - you can’t go further east than western Pennsylvania or New York, and states entirely excluded are Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey and all six New England states- - because this dumb add blocks them.   The CNET sites says “Broken link” but this rock site went out of business years ago and I should delete it.  In terms of the Christ one in Wickipedia- - I thought it was a page on “Jesus is only a myth” but actually it has to do with the Crestus verses Christos argument.  The thing is this one biographer later talks about “Christians” and never links up the two making it clear in my mind that “Crestus” is someone entirely other.  And this one Roman Emperor after Donetian- - - waved the tax on foreigners or whatever for Christians, but not for Jews.  This tells me that whatever the origens of Christianity were- - the Roman government did not regard them as a “foreign cult”.

I watched the Mc Laughlin group- - and the opening topic was about relations with India.  They are getting worse now because of the new “Hard line guy” who hasn’t even been elected president yet, but Pat and the others are acting as if it’s already happened, where as first there is the election and then there is a run-off.   But this new guy- - is sympathetic to Putin and Russia in general.  And this group in their quest to slam Obama- - will trash the idea that America ought to have principles- - and if someone like India picks up the habit of voting against us in the UN general assembly, then Pat and the others think this is just fine.   I dozed off before the rest of the show and roused during their seven o clock station break.  Then it was ‘Jeopardy’ and “Wheel of Fortune” and then “Burn Notice”, which went on till maybe twenty after nine and I went to bed.

Sometimes Just "Thinking about Things" can be a Scarey Experiance

Sometimes I fear we on the left can be sucked into a sort of psychological cesspool by ingaging in the same sort of self-regurtating rhetoric, devoid of any actual fresh event.  There are risks in doing so of falling into intellectual and moral traps.  But yet we forge ahead.  Today is Friday April 11, 2014 and at two I grabbed my copy of “If you see the Bhudda in the road, kill him”.   In one chapter there is the proposition that when God “created them male and female” this included Adam’s first help mate named Lilly or something.  But God had to get rid of her because she refused to take orders from her husband but instead said to him “Am I not a co creation of God along with you?  We are equals”.   Of course Gene Scott says “Everybody knows that women are really smarter than men, and it’s my mission to keep them from ever finding out”.  Hence we have the “ruler-ship of the inferior”.  This would be in accord with Randy’s theory about these big Corporate bosses who pick a man to be President not because he is so smart or talented or independent or principled, but rather if he is plyable and hopefully a little dumb.  So there is talk of George W Bush being “Not his mother’s choice for President” but that distinction went to Jeb Bush.  George W was the cocaine addict and drunkard, or what they call a “dry drunk”, a term I continually am puzzled by.  So Dick Chaney had to be the Vice President as a “babysitter to President Bush”.  In like manner - - Ronald Reagan we all know was starting to get a little senile as early as the 1984 reelection campaign, and of course Nancy Reagan and her astrology had to take over.  So it isn’t that they make an icon of Ronald Reagan any more than these “Devout Christians” hold God in such lofty regard.  In truth in honoring Reagan as an icon they fashioned with their own hands, they honor themselves.   People are worried about President Obama’s popularity rating dipping into the low forties, and yet when George W’s ratings were 32% republicans lined up from all over to make excuses for him.

Of course the Republicans in Congress pulled off a trifecta earlier this week.  They passed the Paul Ryan budget, which was a completely meaningless gesture as we have previously explained.  The Republicans this day also defeated the “Equal pay for equal work” women’s rights bill.  And they also gave a strong thumbs down to raising the minimum wage.  And then there was that farsical thing yesterday that Harry Reid called them out on, where they had already passed cloture on a judicial nominee that had been languishing for nine months from President Obama, among so many unfulfilled posts.  But the Republicans instituted a “thirty hours of post cloture debate” rule, they are sticking to to the letter.  It’s a colossal waste of time and will postpone votes on key judicial nominees till after the Easter recess, which runs clear through to April 28th, which last time I checked was eight days after Easter.  That’s how these people opporate.  These congressmen have only passed a third or less of the bills as the famous “do nothing congress” Truman lamented in 1947 and 1948.  Basically, and this is not sarcasm, they just might as take the rest of the year off anyhow because the year 2014 is a lost cause.

Randy Rhodes has some “psychological theories” some would consider dangerous, for sure.  If things are really as bad as she proposes, America is in a lot worse shape than anyone dares imagine.  The Republicans are going to great lengths to eliminate voting opportunies for blacks and the poor, and she says “They deliberately place the polling places an hour’s distance away” and then you have to stand in line for six hours.  Now the state of Florida was asked to provide handicapped retrofitted restrooms for people in voting lines.  But then the State of Florida felt “guilty” about possible “discrimination” and said “I know what we’ll do.  To insure that the handicapped aren’t discriminated against, a memo will go out that ALL restrooms in public places be closed on Election Day.  This scenario would not even qualify as the plot to a bad novel.  If things are really that bad- - just as they “Federalize the national guard” in emergencies, perhaps the Supreme Court should step in and federalize the conduct of all elections, since the states are obviously proving themselves incompetent to do the job.  Certainly the framers of the Constitution never dreamed of such a thing where the states would conspire to keep certain segments deliberately from voting- carried out on a massive scale.

Of course this same “Proactive Hostility” is on a far lower moral plane than the usual "reactive hostility".  It's one thing to "get back at someone" because they hurt you, or in the normal course of the day some frictions or misunderstandings occur.  Proactive hostility is targeting an individual you may not even know personally but somehow you have developed an obsession about him, and you can't get the fact out of your mind that somehow you need to "ruin his life" for some imagined reason.  It's kind of like Clarence Thomas saying "I believe in not revealing the sources of campaign donations because I care so much about Black civil rights groups in the sixties" when in reality- - this has nothing to do with his true motives.  It's almost akin to - - like in Prison or something where a Guard will take a disliking to you - - for completely irrational reasons that exist only in his mind.  It's like these people are "on a mission" to do you harm..  So you see proactive hostility carried out by the tea party against minorities - - - as if sabotaging the Vote in election day were the most "Right" thing to do.  And it is carried out on “Days of our Lives” by this spurned boyfriend of Jennifer Horton- - who has gone to fantastic lengths to “get even” with Dr Daniel Jonas, by drugging him just before he is due to perform a double by-pass heart operation slated to last for hours.  Nicole had but one question when she saw a stranger in her boyfriend’s apartment.  “What are you doing here?”  Note that he never answered that question but sure was really weasely about virtually everything.  He’s one of those people that makes Richard Nixon in comparison look like a really stand up honest kind of guy.  And then we have of course Julie Williams defending Nick Fallon.  Nick was being more diplomatic and “apologetic” (for someone elses’ stupid actions) than I would have been.  Julie doesn’t think it was very nice for Will Horton not to invite Nick to his wedding the other day.  I would have said to Julie “Well, I never really thought about it before but I think you have a point.  In fact why don’t you go to Will and Sonny and ask them why I wasn’t invited.  I’d be all ears when it comes to what they have to say to you.  You know- - I’d kind of gotten the feeling they resent me because last year I said I felt uncomfortable around gay people.  But someone like you asking a lot of questions rather than me wouldn’t be as threatening to them”.    Of course Samantha Brady is the very last person to cast any moral judgement about anybody.  Because as Julie points out “Samantha’s life has been one big screw up and people give Samantha chance after chance and forgive her over and over- - and it all amounts to nothing”.

The Amazing March Into the Past

It seems today that politicians are openly espousing ideas now that were disproven a century ago.   For instance in the Creation Institute you have Adam and Eve co existing with dinasaurs six thousand years ago.  Now there is talk about bringing about the geocentric point of view and that the Catholic Church was right in comdemning Galileo and Copernicus.   Now in worship of the great god Two-Side you have the Truth acknoledged by scientists for decades, given equal weight with the nuttiest of right winder ideas now.  It's false equivelency and that's madness.  One caller on a morning talk show actually claimed that people who believed in Global Warming were of equalivent value to the Jim Jones Guyanna cult.  And when reminded by the host that "98% of serious scientists are in agreement as to the notion of man made Global Warming" the response was "Well - - 98% of Christians believe in Jesus Christ", which is about like saying that 98% of Mormons believe in Joseph Smith.   These people on the right seem to have lost all sense as to how to decide what is real and what is not.   It's crazy!

In terms of real Science today- - we have what I call the first "mass production bioptsy" or a microbe probe of- - industrial sludge for one thing, which can isolate by a new experimental process over a million different species of microbe in our industrial waste to test for a multitude of potential diseases which may affect society.  But such technology could obviously used with human beings to test whatever "dangerous microbes" are resident in their own bodies, which might cause harm.  And in the area of orthopedics- - now the dream of the old time Faith Healers is realized.  You have people with irreperably damaged spinal cords- - getting up and standing and even doing things like working out with weights and things.  So it keeps the patient more physically fit in the process.  There is some device you hook up to your nervous system and when the unit is on, you can perform wonders.  When the unit is turned off, you're right back where you were before.

The hypocracy of these Bible thumpers is more than apparent.  John Fugelsang has his own take on this on Friday's April 11th Stephanie Miller program.  I have perhaps a more "pragmatic take on the same thing, a concurring but different opinion, so to speak.  For instance one person got a tatoo on his body of a Bible verse in Leviticus or whatever that bans homosexual content.  Unfortunately a few verses later there is a ban against tatooing your body.  And if that guy was wearing a mixed cotton and polyester suit, again he is in trouble by mixing his fabrics in his clothing.  Now you hear people talking about "Being on the right side of history" being less important than "Being on the right side of the Bible".  Have these people learned nothing from reading through the four gospels?  The central message- - one of them anyhow- -is that "People can and are - - (hypothetically) being in perfect accordance with Biblical teachings and may pride themselves on their fidelity to both the letter and spirit of scripture and still be "On the Wrong side of History" as the Jews were in Jesus' day.  As such Mike Huckibee has a major lesson to learn here - - as to how someone be positive they're on solid ground on an issue "In your Heart, you know he's Right" and still get the historical "shaft" from God and History.  Nobody ever said God was Fair.  This is a human construct.  Whatever devotion the pharisees had about "The true spirit of the Law" didn't matter to God when he swept them all away.  I maintain having Laws is a good thing.  Nobody says for instance "We shouldn't have speeding laws because what if the speed laws were 25 mph on the freeway?"  But this is the identical logic Rush Limbaugh uses on minimum wage laws.  Abraham Lincoln said "No man is above the law - - and no man is beneath it".  Too many people forget this basic truth.  If you are going to - (for reasons we won't question just this minute) - - make Leviticus your law book- - then the least you can do is follow what's actually in it.  But it seems more important to these right wing posers to just say "I HAVE a copy of the law- - but that doesn't mean I follow it".  The Civil Rights law passed under LBJ - - gave LAWYERS the right to bring legal suits in Court.  The first three letters in Lawyer is - - LAW.   Contrary then to what they would have us to believe- - these tea party people have a disregard for "The Law" and as such want to reduce the right of the people to bring Civil Suits- - - because they say it's a boondoggle for "Lawyers".  In other words using that same logic- - - police should not arrest criminals- - because to actually DO what your job entails - - be it a lawyer or a cop- - is somehow "wrong' in the eyes of the tea party, for reasons unfathomable to me.

Rush Limbaugh obviously is not serious- - as the spokesman of the Republican Party- - about reaching out and trying to perswade people out there in radio land.  For instance some of the remarks about women are beyond tasteless- and downright tacky.  When Rush Limbaugh was told that there was some new museum or monument opening up to celebrate the accomplishments of women - - Rush said, "Oh, women already Have That - - they're called shopping malls".   He then makes sexual remarks about the women's movement- - - and told that joke twenty years ago about being in an elevator with Hillary Clinton and getting her to wash and iron his clothes "to prove she was a woman".   Now you have the Mitch Mc Conell race in Kentucky.  Clearly you will tailor the race in the fall depending on whether Senator Mc Conell wins or loses in his primary challenge.  If the Senator pervails against his tea party challenge- - the thing to do is to attack him personally.  Call him Yertle the Turtle- - and say that he's getting awfully old- - and is no longer politically relevent to the people of Kentucky.  If the tea party candidate loses- - the issue is simple.  Just pose it as a straight up referendum on the Political Issues of the day saying if you really go for all the far out tea party beliefs- - vote Republican.  But if you are like the Governor and actually are among those who LIKE your Obama Care and in other words want to join the 21st Century - - then you have to vote the democratic ticket.

In terms of Gerrymandering congressional districts, the answer is simple - - "It's the Geometry, Stupid".  There is no need to have endless debates about race and such and "deciding what is fair and since you can't come up with a good definition that is pleasing to all you might as well throw in the towel and let the victorious Party draw those district borders just as they always have.   Well there is a sensible solution that does not involve any "supreme court" decision of involved sociological study.  The solution is that ANY congressional district will be assigned a unit area of ONE.  And now for a square this would mean that the perimeter would be four times this Unit Value so there would be a four to one ratio right there.  But we're reasonable people.  I'd allow for an Eight to one Perimiter to Unit Area Value- - for a district.  This would be a completely color blind method of drawing the districts.  After all the liberals might like to gerrymander the minority districts so that things go Their way.  We have no need for any law that speaks of "Any districts ought to have this or that many minorities but no more than X percentage of them"  That would make it too complicated.  Just use my system.

Beware revisionism- - the scourge of the Texas Schoolbook distributors.  Now I'm hearing via tape delay about Jim De Mint and his revisionist history.   Now Jim De Mint says "All men are Created Equal" is in the Constitution and that it was "The will of the people" that Freed the Slaves, and had nothing to do with Big Government or the Civil War.   Has anyone ever heard the term "Progress" used with the words "Away" in the same sentence.  Jim says "The Democrats want to progress AWAY from those things that made America great".   I think inherent in the world "progress" is pro and gress meaning movement Foeward- - Tword a goal- - and not Away from any goal.  But if you have Adam and Eve frolicking with teradactyles - - then you're a lost cause anyhow.   You won't find the Truth that today's Republican party in Texas is composed primarily of those right wing Dixiecrats- - that transferred party membership in droves due to President Nixon's "Southern Strategy", which it could be argued itself is based on a racial premise.   These people- - revisionists will come out and say that Columbus was a good Christian who only sought to "Share the Christian gospel" with the native Americans he came accross.   He never raped them and he never exploited them or gave them diseases or outright slaughtered them- - according to these Columbus worshipers.  And don't get me started on William Bradford.   But people like Rush will say that anything other than total Personal Perfection in our sacred Historic Icons - - is some sort of- - I don't know - - Blasphamy against said Icon.

It All Comes Back to Race and Racism

Even if there is no crushing new news, there are older issues that need to be dribbled around the court a little more.  Take the whole thing of racism in the Republican party.  I would like to now address this in keeping with the Mike Papentonio thing that just cropped up as a fresh offering on Freespeech.tv.  Lee Atwater is dead.  He died in the early spring of 1991 and not to wish anyone harm in the afterlife or anything, but it wouldn’t disturb me to find out that Atwater after death had gone to the deepest bowels of the Infernal Regions.  Conservatives have made an icon out of Ronald Reagan but the evil genious behind Ronald Regan’s success was Lee Atwater.   Candidate Ronald Reagan kicked off his 1980 run for President in Philadelphia, Mississippi, where Civil Rights workers were slain.  This was no accident but according to those in the know, it was meant to send a distinct “message” that the Southern Strategy is alive and well.   For instance it was Atwater that said “In 1955 you used the word Nigger- - to promote you were in accord with the racist audience.  But by 1968 you couldn’t use the N word anymore, so they spoke rather of “forced bussing” and “state’s rights” issues.   The thing is that even liberals can fall into the “mistake” of being misunderstood.  I heard a story from some show yesterday about “People who trade in their food stamps for Kentucky burbin”, and I thought “Well if this is being done- - it’s wrong and should be stopped” but they weren’t referring to the inner city ghetto, but rather appelatia that runs from northeastern Mississippi into central Pennsylvania.  This whole area is like an abandoned shell, and really if you’re a true conservative idiolog you can well argue that “The best and the brightest among them” with any get up and go and good old fashioned “gumption” have left that white “ghetto” of hopelessness, and moved on to there there was opportunity for economic advancement.   Whether it’s Blacks hanging around in the alley shooting craps, or a bunch of long haired white people in tattered clothes sitting outside the one drugstore in town that’s still in business- - whitteling or whatever- - it’s the same symptom.  Some like Paul Ryan have this “newly discovered cause” of our economic slow growth and it’s “Black people in the inner city ghetto who are just lazy”, when in reality - - people who have actually lived in “the ghetto” know that people by in large aren’t like that there.  They are just as eager for work as the rest of us.   Pardon my wordiness today.   We have “souls to the polls” by Black churches, so in attacking early voting- - why isn’t it argued that you’re actually attacking the Church and devout people?   But clearly this racism is rather blatant at times.  Why is for instance George Zimmerman such a folk hero among those on the right- - or people like Ted Neugent.     So it’s silly for Rush to say race plays no part in stripping away of the safety net because it certainly does.   It goes without saying- much of the Anti Obama hatred and ranting we see is based on race and not performance, because not even Clinton suffered this way.  Any psychologist wants to know “What is Driving your pursuit of this particular issue?”  And of course in Texas having a gun license qualifies you to vote, but having a Student ID from a University will not.  This law has a two-fold purpose of encouraging gun ownership and at the same time tending to disparage institutions of higher learning.    Demographically they are also fighting the immigrant wars and wand the children of those Ronald Reagan encouraged by the 1986 act to “come on over and we won’t stop you” - - are the ones the Republicans in the house now want to deport, and Rush Limbaugh wants to make sure don’t get the vote.   In another demographic - - of those younger people from eighteen up to their early thirties - - - nearly a third of these have no religious affiliation at all and apparently don’t even believe in a personal God.

Let’s talk about so called “religious rights”.  Some would argue that the KKK has religious rights and that a KKK run corporation has a God given “right” not to hire or serve Blacks.  Others might for instance say “Nobody in our work force need ever join the military and even if they are drafter- - we mandate that you should evade such a draft because it violates out religious principles”.  Others could argue that paying taxes to the government is wrong but that God has the sole claim on all of our worldly goods.  This all got started when the High Court stepped in and said that various Indian tribes did NOT have the right to eat peyote as a free exercise of their tribal religion.  I would argue it differently from what the Court heard, saying that various reservations were in many ways like a separate nation and certain laws did not apply, for instance, prohibitions against Gambling establishments.  Since the Court in 1990 outlawed peyote for these native Americans, then congress set up the “restoration of religious rights act”.  Now Hobby Lobby is using THIS act, passed to help out peyote eating people in New Mexico - - - as their grounds as why Corporations have religious rights.  This is of course beyond strange.  Because as Mike Papentonio pointed out- - the Corporation is losing it’s “separate” status as a legal entity.  Because people on the board of directors or anyone who owns Stock in that company, by ordinary law could be personally sued for anything- - were they not protected by Statute- - that said (and here is where they say it) a corporation is like a separate Person that can be sued apart from any individual liability.  Share holders are thus insured against bankruptcy.    But Mike says that if you are going to strip this “other” ness from Corporations- - if they have not only free speech, and meranda rights and now Religious rights- - then it seems the line is so blurred that all distinction corporations and the human beings like the Green family that owns Hobby Lobby, are now dissolved.   (Put that in your pipe and smoke it.)   In other words it it quacks like a duck and feathers like a duck - - etcetra, etcetra.   If you want to say that Corporations ARE people, then let’s be literal about and sue individuals for the decisions that these “individuals” made “in the name of” said Corporation.

We now come to Eric Holder, who was a corporate stooge before he became Attorney General, and is careful to do nothing to offend the corporate world will serving at AG because once he leaves office he’s be going BACK to that corporate world, where his loyalties have always lain.  Jesus Christ summed it up a long time ago saying “you can’t serve two masters because you’ll be loyal to one and resent the other”.    I have Covington 0- Burley here.   Now Wells Fargo has gone further and is passing out material to instruct their employees how to commit outright Fraud and get away with it, and how to forge documents.   Of course Timothy Geitner is guilty is tax fraud but it didn’t stop him from being appointed Sec of the Treasury.    Of course thanks to ALEC, it’s no longer a case as it used to be of “finding some obscure loophole in the law and exploiting what was never intended”.  Today it’s much more blatant.  ALEC actually Writes the bills for congress to rubber stamp with their vote of approval.  The provisions in these bills are tailor made to the interests of corrupt corporations- - just as Monsanto GMO’s have DNA that is “tailor made” to be compatible with their own insecticides.

I would like to talk about race and the Orion Federation.   Somebody reading my material on the subject must think “Boy that guy must sure be obsessed with issues of Race”.   No, I’m not but THEY are- - and I definitely find it a little over the top at times.  For instance Ted Nugent’s remarks about the President being a “sub human mongrel” doesn’t have near the connotations in the Federation that it has on earth.  And Mal Evans reminds me ‘I don’t have the personal power to determine where Ted Nugent goes in his after-life.  That’s up to his own people, the Bela Tagis B’s”.    Mal Evans is only “Minister of Propaganda” and that’s his literal title.  Even the word “Propaganda” is a bit more benign in the Federation (either them OR in Russia) as it is here.   I would also like to talk about Avatars and Race.   For instance we said that Brian Epstein and Pete Best are both what’s called “Northern Reigelianized Sirius 0’s”.   Perhaps I’ve made this overly complicated in the past.  What they are are people who karmicly, in terms of their essence or soul or whatever- - but have the Avatar of Sirius 0 bodies.   On the Stephanie Miller show this morning there was talk of one dentist buying an extracted tooth of John Lennon for the perpose of “cloning him and teaching him to play the guitar but keeping him away from harmful drug influences”.    I draw a blank trying to get Feedback from Lennon on this one.  However the minute Stephanie and the gang mentioned Stewart Sutcliffe- - instantly Stu chimed in and said “That’s not gona happen” as per the prospect own cloning.   By the way - - these ZAC purists who live in Sirius A - - are not the same group as the Drewanians.  The Drewanians have never been into all of the Howard and Roin mythology or lore.   All they care about is “Ziggy”.    But it’s the Sirius A segment that Jim Morrison referred to as the Tea Party segment on Sirius A, which may be why he’s no longer affiliated with the Federation.   Another earth retronym is this term os Bosc to describe the progenitors of Blue Oyster Cult in Sirius 0.   This is the group that uses the Sirius A alphabet, has Crestorian philosophy, but Romulan soul karma.

Sean Hannity Was Not Wholly Wrong Today

You know, it’s so rare when Justice Clarence Thomas actually says something or espouses an opinion that’s different from the others it benefits us to know what it is.  It seems besides going all the way and eliminate all campaign donation limitations even into the millions of dollars.  But another plum position of Justice Thomas is this element of secrecy.  He dares to invoke the Civil Rights workers who were targeted for their donations to civil rights groups as a rationale for secrecy us ungodly large campaign donation so we have even LESS of an idea who is buying off our politicians.  I am a total disclosure person myself.  I think when the constitution says “speedy public Trial” that’s just what it should be.  Not only do coverers of these trials need not conceal the identity of those on the Jury, but that they have an Obligation to show us the faces of the jurors and their expressions, just as though we were present in the courtroom ourselves, like the founding fathers intended.  Some may point out that people in the Joseph Mc Carthy era got into trouble for donating to or even being members of the American Communist Party in their youths in the thirties.  What Senator Mc Carthy did was wrong.  And what happened to that executive of Firefox who was pressured out of his position for a donation he made in 2008 to a ballot measure the Majority of Californians voted for- - that pressure or “climate of hostility” is also wrong.  In this way I disagree in the strongest terms with Bill Press on this issue.  Apparently, by his reasoning, once support for or against an issue falls below fifty percent- - we lose all our rights.  This is so completely beyond the pale for an otherwise reasonable man like Bill Press.  It seems there is a Mormon lady who owned a restaurant and donated to proposition eight also, and happens to be a Mormon- - and various hostile forces drove her out of business, if I have my facts straight.  Whatever happened to having a mutual respect for those with a differing point of view?   Then we have Anne Coulter - - with her own strange slant on issues.  Every time I hear Anne Coulter I think of some male drag queen who is trying hard to sound feminine, and not being very successful at it.   She is saying that it’s liberals who are the racists and “treat Blacks like children”.  I don’t understand that one at all.  Certainly she is aware that the majority of the tea party membership used to be southern democrats who opposed the civil rights bill.   For these Democrats - - the 1964 civil rights bill was “a bridge too far”.    For instance on this issue of needing a photo ID to vote- - - it is not “just like cashing a check or insuring against under age alcohol drinking” as I’ve heard lately.  The avowed goal of these people - - and I’ve heard it out of their own mouths - - is to insure a reduced participation of liberals and minorities- - and in one case “To insure that Mitt Romney wins the state of Pennsylvania in November”.  I guess I’m a little puzzled why we now have to re-litigate” bills that were passed by a wide majority of both houses of Congress fifty years ago.  But sadly, we do.

I listened to Sean Hannity today and was not wholly opposed to what he and Rush Limbaugh were saying on the subject of equal pay for equal work.  You have to pin people down and ask them where they got their numbers and whether they have “controlled” for all other variables, and next you have to ask yourself “even if this number varience is true- - how relevant is it, actually?”  Take this notion of people who smoke not living as long.  Well they live in the inner cities where pollution is higher- - and live in a lower socio economic group where occupational accidents are more likely - - and their diet is cheaper because the dirty little secret is – in the ghetto- - junk food doesn’t cost as much as healthy food.   Sometimes you can look at a number and get paranoid over nothing.  For instance if you read “This drug will give you twenty five percent higher chance of a heart attack” isn’t relevant much at all if- for example I only had a two or three percent chance of a heart attack to begin with.  It’s like saying ‘My gambling method will boost your chances of winning the Power Ball lottery by fifty percent!” when even when that’s factored in, it’s still nothing.   Now we have heard since the late seventies that “Women only earn 78% as much money as men do for the same work”.    Today we hear that President Obama’s women White House staffers only earn 88% as much as the male staffers.  But let’s talk straight for a moment.  You have to take into account- - first of all whether male workers put in more overtime (that till last week they weren’t being paid for) and their seniority - - and both their education and their background, and how completely their bosses trust them.  Failure to take into account ALL of these factors, means you’re just being unfair.  Sean says he hires a lot of women.  Perhaps Mitt Romney sent him “Binders full of women”.   It’s too easy t take a cheap shot both in this area- - and also in the medical area.

There is a new crisis in the Ukraine we first heard about last night where agitators from Russia are causing civil unrest in the eastern part of Ukraine.  Now the Soviets are interjecting themselves in another nations affairs in saying "Well you people just better not try and quell these disturbances by using the military or it would mushroom into a full fledged Civil War.   John Kerry has openly claimed that all these agitations and unrest are being fomented directly by Russia herself.  Those in the know have always claimed that if Russia, or WHEN Russia invaded the Eastern Ukraine, it would be on some fig leaf of an excuse that they are doing so to "prevent further violence against ethnic Russians".  I doubt that at this point either Secretary Kerry's or NATO's complaints will be sufficient to stop whatever invasion or "incursion" (our term) against the Eastern Ukraine.  People like Pat Buchannon will never run dry in their bottomless pit - - of rationalizations- - of Russia's acts of naked aggression.

E J Di Mira isn’t the only person who cam come up with creative illustrations for complex problems.  For instance eight plus thousand bananas for three hundred plus chimps.  Those are pretty big numbers for a little girl like Alley to be working with.   But now let’s help allay your fears out there as to what an “Event horizon” is.  Contrary to what the media has been cramming down your throat for decades “event horizons” have nothing to do with black holes.  Perhaps a better illustration might be “the things you chose to share about with your psychotherapist.  These events are Important to you because they are in your Event Horizon.  They are the Things in your life that Matter to you.  One could define an Event Horizon as a sort of “feng chue’ snap shot.  I guess some spell it “fung chue” snapshot.  I’ve heard both.   Each individual person not only has his own “point of view” (literally) but also his own Event Horizon.  This might not be such a strange thing but it’s slightly different for each person.  AND - - this “event horizon’ is literally The Thing that determines what Is and Is Not Real in your own life.  If a certain thing is NOT in your event horizon even if it’s in your neighbor’s then it does NOT matter to you.  (Selah)  So in answer to the question of “how big is the universe” the answer is “your event horizon”.   Nobody blows a whistle and says “You have just moved outside of Ed Schwatz’ event horizon”.  It’s not like everything suddenly “looks all different now”.  The more objects move with respect to Each Other (the ultimate application of relativism, by the way)  - - the more dissimilar these two Event Horizons ARE.  The more they vary from one another.  Just to relate to Lisa Simpson by way of Ven diagrams- - the circles can overlap a lot or a little or fifty-fifty- - or can be almost perfectly concentric, or they may not overlap at all.  And most certainly a third circle can overlap into both circles, which in term do not acknowledge the other’s existence.   Just to get back to Feng Chue for a moment- - in my version of "string theory" the strings are very large indeed.  Just as electricity is generated by a pole "slicing through" flux lines- - - which "form" after a manner of speaking (literally if you're using iron filings) along the same principle as the rings of Saturn - - mutual gravitational attraction to get literal - - - these "strings" are like trip wires that when crossed are like trip wires- - or the rats in Annie Wilke's drawers traverse threads she placed there and it "triggers" the event of Annie Wilkes going psycho on everyone.  Many computer programs speak of "triggering events".   So that explains that.

Bill Press this morning was again talking about this whole crock about Unionizing and paying college athletes.   The thing is they are already among the most spoiled, pampered people on the face of the earth.  Nobody actually expects them to be “academic” in terms of actually Working and studying for their grades the way everybody else has to.  They’re jocks, after all.  And they mostly get “full scholarships” so they don’t have to take out these Student Loans like ordinary people do.  But if you think about it- - you have heard liberals as well as those on the right saying “I might be open now to having an apprentice working under me to learn this radio trade”.  And of course an apprentice of this sort works for free, just as college students do what they love to do, “for free”.  It’s an opportunity of exposure and learning.  And who wouldn’t sell their soul to be in the very site that the NBA and the NFL is sending scouts to look at YOU, with a possibility of hiring YOU to a life of fame and status, not to mention high pay?  And for all of this these players rather than feeling grateful - - complain that they are “Abused” and “taken advantage of” and refer to themselves as “cash cows”.  No, no.

Today, Tuesday April 8, 2014 is the dreaded “last day” of a Windows XP update.  Support ends as of tomorrow.  I clicked this and that link like Judy suggested but did not get any constructive suggestions as to “what to do about it”.   I have gone off Internet Explorer and change my default Firefox page to Yahoo.   Apparently, so far as I cal glean, there really isn’t anything else TO do besides just wait- - for everything, or nothing.

Speaking Common Sense To a World that Desperately Needs It

Here is an area Senator Ted Cruz and I can agree on.  Ted Cruz gave a speech in the Senate today “in the absence of a quorum” as he points out,  to propose a law that we don’t let avowed Islamic terrorists become Ambassadors to the United States, as President Obama appears ready to do.  The nation of Iran held those 52 hostages from November of 1979 to January of 1981 and the proposed ambassador the President of Iran has proposed was in the thick of all that.  It would seem that Iran is still nursing desires to drive Israel into the sea.  The United States is called “The Great Satan” and Israel is referred to as “The Little Satan” and Iran apparently imprisoned a Christian cleric to a worse prison than he was then being held in, on the anniversary of the taking of the US hostages.  As they did this they crowed about “Compelling the world to do the will of Iran”.  This is completely unacceptable behavior.  Clearly we should not resume ANY negotiations on Nukes with Iran until they have stopped all enrichment activities of Uranium 235.   But I would propose that even after Iran meets our demands on everything we want- - a sixty day “patience period” should be allowed, where they have to wait out a sixty day probation period to see if there are any infractions in that time.

I think the Conservitives and I are in agreement on another issue.  I am dismayed at the Supreme Court’s refusal to take up the cause of this photography outfit in New Mexico after the New Mexico Supreme Court disallowed them from declining work- - photographing gay weddings.  I mean clearly any professional outfit has the discretion to accept or decline any job they want.  For example, suppose you were a house painter and there was this big old mansion with a lot of du-dads and crannies, and the paint was flaking off and maybe the place was overrun with rats.  It would be perfectly reasonable in my view to decline such a job as “beyond our capability” and “Perhaps you would be happier is another company did it”.  From the standpoint of the gay wedding, I don’t see why the subjects ad said gays wedding would care to be photographed by a crew that finds their personal conduct repugnant.  But it seems that the Supreme Court has gotten lazier over the decades, declining a higher percent of cases, cases I personally feel they should have taken up because clearly the issues in them are of national import and need to be decided.  But this Court only wants to go with Winners or something.  I darkly suspect that these Justices know how they’re going to rule on a case from its outset.

Having said that, let's discuss Paul Ryan's new budget.  I tire of the right making these sweeping generalities about we on the left like was evident on the Rush Limbaugh program this morning.  Is it really an endless game of “taking away goodies or “free stuff” the government hands out” as if the sole existence of the Democratic party was to get as many poor people “enslaved” by their policies.  Many things Rush Limbaugh says are an obvious projection (a psychological term) and would apply much more to himself than to us.  He speaks of “The Left” as this monolithic entity that walks in lock step and regards President Obama as the supreme arbiter of issues for them.   In reality the shoe is almost entirely on the other foot.  It is the tea party that has their “pre fab” talking points all lined up and ready to go.  In terms of “taking things away from people” Paul Ryan’s newly proposed House budget is so bad every American should read it- - and it’ll scare the begesis out of them.   In almost every case he wants to compound the draconian cuts already imposed by the Sequester, agreed on last year.  So in truth there is no NEED for a proposed budget now because one has already been AGREED upon.  But the strangest thing is how the tea party talks about this "debt that's going to bury us" and yet they aren't serious about cutting the deficet.  Why do I say this?  Because the Obama Administration has cut the deficet in half if not more than half in the past couple of years or so.  So why in the name of all that's sacred would it take Paul Ryan till the year 2024 - to cut the Other Half of this deficet?  Hummm???   Of course- - he does the "bend over and grab the knees" approach to let all of the biggest international corporations have their way with us.   There are statistics that say that the top one percent have 43% of the wealth in America, according to a reference in George Washington's blog.  The bulk, eighty percent of us- - hold but seven percent of the world's wealth.  If they took my suggestion and called our side the 95.5% then - - those who remain the other 4.5% would have about three fourths of the world's wealth.  But I dispute these statistics only to say they are not extreme enough.  You see this was the result of a lengthly study that was released in March of 2010, and the research was no doubt done at an earlier date.  Since this is four years and counting - later, and we know things have Continued to get Worse (as the Republicans endlessly remind us) then more extreme numbers would be evident.  Rush was grilling one caller who suggested that at least the Tea Party ought to pretend to be civil and compassionate in their policies, and not scare the dickens out of the other side in the first fee sentences out of their mouth.  Rush disagreed- - - almost in the tradition of that Kendrick guy in “A few good men” who was just “aching to tell us all just what “The Truth” is”.   So- - just let Rush Limbaugh talk - - and talk and talk.  He’s exhibit A, B, C, D, and E, all himself.

If Thom Hartman is right and not just smoking something funny- - this carbon tax thing is actually a wealth redistribution bonanza for the working man.  Because this carbon is taxed everywhere along the pipeline of production, when the oil is taken from the ground or when the ground if fractured, or when the fuel is refined.  And this tax taken from business is then given TO the average working man.  This would perhaps cover medical expences like with Thom Hartman's father.  It would be money for a average person to spend.  Since the profits of energy companies are enormous- - - and this tax Can't be negotiated down- - then this would give the average citizen a lot of extra spending cash in their pocket, to help the economy.  I am a firm believer that taxation should carry a little of the carrot and the stick prodding.  I believe this Constitutional justified by the phrase "to promote the general welfare".  Right now what we have seems to be government "promoting the general malaise".  In other words, our government has proactively lowered the "wage market".   While gas prices will by necessity go up a little, corporations will feel a pressure to "eat" a lot of the cost due to the lowered demand curve.  But certainly the consumer will have the "stick" applied to him with an "incentive" to switch modes of transportation or fuel used therein.  When Thomas Jefferson extoled the value of free public education, he himself was adhering to the principle of "promoting the general welfare".  In this case it was a literate population, that in Jefferson's mind made for a more qualified electorate.  (Selah)

Of course the dirty little secret about world history is that there was another Renaissance period in the world before our Western one.  It extended from China to Morocco - - and occurred around the eighth and ninth centuries.  This is when Islam was much more scientific and civilized than it is today.  It interacted with India culture and both benefited from this cross pollenization.  This would be during the T’ang dynesty in China.  Of course China was not always so lucky.   You had this emperor named Chin, who by the way got a whole country to be named after him.  He was like in the third century BC and he was one of the first book burners, and had a personal Ego bigger than the state of Texas.  He was the emperor who built the Great Wall, and also had these clay soldiers who “guard his grave”.   There are times when I read certain parables of Jesus and I wonder just what Jesus Christ would be like anyhow, if he had absolute power.

The other dirty little secret is about light- - and how different kinds of light - - waves - - travel at different speeds.   Now light as a corpuscular eneity- - photons - - all travel at the fixed speed we all know about.  I assume this would be true for any sort of lepton, which is a class of sub atomic particles.   But as we have said red - - “waves” are more retarded in that if you are retreating from them, they can’t keep up with you but it takes longer invervals to overtake you if you are a “moving target’ going away.  The opposite would be true for blue waves- - - - which would be like going against the grain like running out as quickly as you can into the ocean to be greeted by wave after wave.  It occurrs to me that many of you may honestly not Know what we mean by red or blue "Shifts".  This is my oversight.  Do you know what the LSH key is on Windows calculator?  Never mind.  Light that passes through a gas has a "line signiture" kind of like its own unique "bar code".  When light is being red or blue shifted this "bar code" shifts one way or the other.  Failing this far code- - one can make certain deductions about light of a certain color.  Blue light for example could be either stationary or moving tword you.  If it is in fact coming tword you it will have a greater amplitude per the original "energy propigation" otherwise known as "candle power".  In like manner red light could be stationary or receding but if it is receding it will have reduced apparent brightness per "candle power".   So just to clarify, though normally - - - -amplitude goes along with frequency- - frequency per se is the thing that denotes color.  Amplitude demotes brightness.   The reason why blue light bends more is NOT its speed as the "Cosmos" thing stated, but merely because short waves bend more than longer waves - - and so you have to throw out ideas about "impact physics" because photons don't have mass as we know it.  Not to get too complicated but any mass photons DO have is due to their "energy" and not their mass, and since photons never stand still, they never have absolutely zero mass.  So it isn't the "mass" of light that determines how much it is bent- - unlike an automobile or a bullet- - but rather its wavelength.

At two I turned it to Dr Oz.  His latest theory which seems well supported is that anti-biotics cause people to gain weight.  My only question is since we’ve been using anti-tiotics for seventy years why is this fact only now being “discovered”?   And I have to question the idea of something used only a tiny percentage of a person’s life, having such an influence overall on how their body processes food.  First of all the anti-biotics create more of the sort of bacteria specialized in breaking down food and extracting calories.  Next, said “bad bacteria” multiply the number of fat cells the body produces, and thirdly, these same bacteria create a sugar craving in the body.  If you were truly sick it might not be such a bad thing to gain back a little weight.  Dr Oz would prefer that you suffered through the ravages of whatever illness you had.  Then I went down for coffee and was moved to the front of the line because I was a first.  I had the guy top off my coffee cup.  I went up to the patio where Janet gave us chocolate covered toffee.  I have the teeth for that.  But that doesn’t explain the mysterious brown stain I just noticed on my pants.  Of course Dr Oz is as much of a broken record on the subject of weight and dieting as the Catholic Church is on sex.  Take Nicole and Eric.  Eric was falsely accused of wrongdoing by the Church and Nicole naturally figured when Erie said he had chosen to leave the ministry it means putting distance between himself in the church.  Eric concealed the fact that the church had told him Nicole being a divorcee, would not be wed in the Catholic Church,  but Lord knows, Edward Kennedy had no problem being pro abortion and also getting a divorce, while staying in good standing as a Catholic.  If Eric is going to have such complete disregard for how Nicole obviously feels on this subject- - then it really is best to end it now- - and Eric can stop wasting Nicole’s time.
