Este Ciempre Asi Con Tyranus

When it comes to picking Me to read it's strictly WYSIWYG
"What you see is what you get"
This is April 13, 2014 and what I call “Sun Dial parody time” because it’s the only time of year when you’ll get the correct reading (Standard Time, of course) on your sun dial AND there is another equivalent period on the other side- - like Aug 31 or September first, when the sun is also in meridian sync.  Today is “Liberty day” in the Andromeda Federation because President Lincoln is seen as kind of a despot and bringer of War there, and they are in basic sympathy with the Virginia state motto of “Sic Cemper Tyranus”.   It isn’t that Andromadans love Slavery - -  it’s just that they hate War more – involving over 550,000 battle field deaths.  Show me any slave plantation where the death rate is near that high.  I like to Spanish it up a little saying “Este Ciempre Asi Con Tyranus”, just to provide a little better elucidation of the meaning, in the spirit of “Si, se puede hacer”.   It’s Thomas Jefferson’s birthday, of course, who is the author of individual “Rights” and liberties.   It’s also the day I finally had my first encounter with you-know-who in Leslie’s bedroom at the Palm Street house”.   And in case you are wondering, you Avatar freaks- - I think I was personally the happiest in the past twelve odd years around here- - in the period where I was in contact with Valerie S on the Green Harbor excoursions, which would be from early September of 2004 to early August of 2005.   What we have is a richness of things to say, but nothing that would work in a blog posting, not that I’d let that stop me from posting some sort of crap anyhow.  “Fresh Books” is the latest tax program that’s going to save the day for you.  They have a new policy now with the Obama administration saying if your deceast relative- - was over paid Social Security in 1977 then they will take it out of the survivor’s four thousand dollar tax refund - -THIS year.  That hardly sounds fair at all, and people are trying to petition congress to see if they don’t agree.  And of course it’s coming up on the one year anniversary of the Boston Marathon and “Boston Strong” and all that.  Now the Arkturus “Star System” will be commemorating the anniversary of the Boston bombings - - and it’s assumed that the Pikes will do the same thing- though we haven’t heard on that officially.  Of course the rock groups “The Cars”, “Aerosmith” and “Boston” are all Bostonians and all Arkturian groups.  I Phones still don’t have “Zoom” so just invest in a “point and shoot” camera.  I haven’t called Mom back to see if she ever got her first cell phone, which she says she’d have no use for- - but she’ll be getting one - - apparently just to join the 21st Century.   It’s five to one and Dr Levy will be coming along soon with a big bunch of nothing.  So like some would argue “How is that different from your blog postings?” – ha, ha!

The more modern gadgets there are the less time we all seem to have.  That’s one of the modern paradoxes.  In France they passed a rule that employers had to leave their employees with eleven uninterrupted hours at home per day without sending them an E mail.  I’d like them to pass a law like that here because I suspect bosses are getting more and more intrusive in a way that never would have been accepted a hundred years ago.   Leo Le Port is just now coming on for his second hour.  We are in “Ocean”.  Today is Palm’s Sunday, which is an easy fact to forget these days.  Breakfast with the Beatles was on and they had a Liverpudlian who claims to be the sole survivor of Badfinger or something.  Mal Evans used to be associated with Badfinger but now doesn’t want to be reminded of those days and can’t stand to listen to Badfinger music.  Also Mal Evans, along with Lennon, hates the song “Back Seat of My Car” for reasons yet unknown.  Just about all the songs KLOS played were from the “Straight Up” album, and I did not hear a single song from “No Dice”.   I listened again and I guess it really is a cowbell in “Hard Day’s Night” and not a metal pipe.  Just listen carefully.  But Chris Carter said that “I Saw Her Standing There” was written “in a single day in September of 1962” but they have in the past played a recording of “I Saw Her Standing There” at the Cavern club in March of 1962 when Pete Best was still on drums.   They concluded with “Good Bye, My Love” which is Paul Mc Cartney singing in his “Blind Owl” voice.  They had an eleven year old kid whose guitar playing if he works at it will be as good as Laurance Jubar, but as you know, I think the kings of Wings lead guitar are Harry Mc Culloch and Jimmy Mc Colluch.  There was talk about working with George Harrison both with Badfinger and also “All Things Must Pass”.   The scant piano playing you actually hear sounds to me like Nicky Hopkins.   They say that Derek and the Dominoes had the run of the place then.  My blogger numbers are in the tank.  It seems as if I’m not the only person who has doubts about whether Friday’s blog was good or not.

I had Harry Reid on talking about the pointless thirty hour delay in voting for a female judge of the Ninth Circuit Court, which has been pending for at least nine months.   Reid correctly points to this “post cloture rule” as a pointless waste of time.  How can it be anything else when you have already decided that the very NEXT thing you’ll do is vote on it?  (?)  Then there were Paul Ryan and the rest of these Republican clowns talking about how wonderful the Republican budget is they are voting on which signified nothing since we already HAVE an approved budget.  It’s all just for show of the cameras.  Nancy Pelosi spoke empassionedly along with another male democrat.  She said that “Where your treasure is, there where your heart be also”.  Truer words could not be spoken and you might say her Bible quite was “inspired”.   (Of course all Bible quotes are “inspired”)  The question is whether the chamber can see the issues spelled out clearly in black and white right in front of their face.  The democrats had statistics and numbers.  All Paul Ryan had was rhetoric- - and another endless retreat into the same Obama Care clichés about how you really can’t keep your doctor.   It just seems that some fine day these Yahoos from the middle of the country have to realize that they are being screwed just as much by this budget, which relies on a many times disproven “trickle down” economic theory, and it will actually make the deficit worse.  To him the only remedy to “socialism” is starving students, the poor, and the elderly.

The Coachella music festival is in Indio now.  That isn’t a county but perhaps they should secede and become one.  We had one of these chicken and rice “casserole balls” for dinner, and out of character for these people, it was almost stone cold.  Only the mixed vegetables were hot.  The dinner roll was cold and hard, and I imagine with a high gluten content.   For the second day in a row the guy had us line up for seconds, which really speeds the process up.  We had vanilla ice cream for desert.  Glen agreed on the spot to give me instant coffee for 35 cents, but I raised it to forty when he offered hazelnut creamer, and said “I think you need a little more coffee in there”.  As per the usual for lately I got handed this week’s copy of “The Week” on “Free Speaking”.   I’m kind of out of mental ideas for anything.  I checked old old bookmarked sites like that State Legislature control one, where they have this “line” you can’t go east of to get a state- - - you can’t go further east than western Pennsylvania or New York, and states entirely excluded are Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey and all six New England states- - because this dumb add blocks them.   The CNET sites says “Broken link” but this rock site went out of business years ago and I should delete it.  In terms of the Christ one in Wickipedia- - I thought it was a page on “Jesus is only a myth” but actually it has to do with the Crestus verses Christos argument.  The thing is this one biographer later talks about “Christians” and never links up the two making it clear in my mind that “Crestus” is someone entirely other.  And this one Roman Emperor after Donetian- - - waved the tax on foreigners or whatever for Christians, but not for Jews.  This tells me that whatever the origens of Christianity were- - the Roman government did not regard them as a “foreign cult”.

I watched the Mc Laughlin group- - and the opening topic was about relations with India.  They are getting worse now because of the new “Hard line guy” who hasn’t even been elected president yet, but Pat and the others are acting as if it’s already happened, where as first there is the election and then there is a run-off.   But this new guy- - is sympathetic to Putin and Russia in general.  And this group in their quest to slam Obama- - will trash the idea that America ought to have principles- - and if someone like India picks up the habit of voting against us in the UN general assembly, then Pat and the others think this is just fine.   I dozed off before the rest of the show and roused during their seven o clock station break.  Then it was ‘Jeopardy’ and “Wheel of Fortune” and then “Burn Notice”, which went on till maybe twenty after nine and I went to bed.
