Chess Playing Computers

It seems that throughout the ages, ie. decades, the hallmark of a good computer is whether or not it plays chess. Spock was able to deduce that a Startrek guidance computer had a bad program because Spock was able to beat it at chess three times. They say that a good computer can beat almost any man at chess most of the time. You know, back in the fall of 1968 when I was taking a computer class there was talk about computer programs that did things like schedule the most efficient delivery routs or compute bus pickup schedules for school kids. To my way of thinking it would be a lot simpler to rely upon some colored string, some thumb tacks and a map. I mean- - really! In the time it would take to program the computer you could have the task done several times over. Of course I don't like "Intelligent software". I don't want software doing my thinking for me or second guessing me. I like nice dumb software. There's a three D program I have now and the thing I don't like about it is that it's a crap shoot what the image is going to look like depending on what mood the software is in today. When computers start having "personalities" that's when I want out. In Star Trek there is a lot of talk about "sensient" intelligence among electronic life forms, and are they all going to one day declare war against carbon based life forms? "H A L" in the 2001 movie was so "perfect" he had a personality we all know and fear. The movies "Collosus" and "War Games" both talked about computers that control a nation's defence. Since when do computers become so self aware that they suspect humans of plotting behind its back to pull the plug and zap them before they can?

I like nice dumb software. Results should depend upon what the user does rather than what the software presupposes. Dr. Phill has often talked about "predictability" when it comes to parents punishing their kids. I guess that takes the fear out of it. Some people get off on fear. Some people like the idea of a capritiolus parent that can, on a whim, dispense mercy. The kids do a crap shoot and sometimes one of them gets lucky and they feel impelled to try again. Some say, "Should kid's destiny be in their hands?" Oddly when it comes to kid's punishment their destiny should be in their hands. They should have the option to behave or be punished. Kings of old I suspect didn't dispense "mercy" merely as an act of kindness. They did it merely to show that they had the Power to do so. If some rat gets a royal break it kind of intimidates everyone else. I guess I'm wondering whether computer systems perhaps controling prisons will develop a "personality" and start arbitrarily favoring some prisoners over others.

When it comes to the most two Evil people I have ever been in the presence of - - two people come to mind. One of them I met on a bus. He looked and talked just like Charles Manson. He acted as if he knew things about me he couldn't have. Parenthetically the reason why people distrust computers so much is that they know so much about you. Anyhow- - prior to this I had regarded Charles Manson as a rather amusing joke of a figure in the psychedelic world. Kind of a naustalgia link to the past. After this I regarded Manson in a whole other light. I saw him for the evil, depraved terror he must have been. The other evil person is the Asshole from El Paso, as we have nicknamed him. What he would do is insult you nine ways to Sunday and do things to taunt you and when you would start to get mad He would go into this "Hal" esque monotone. He'd kind of be saying "I'm in controle of the situation, and you're not". Whoever said a soft answer turneth away wrath was full of it. It only makes me madder. It kind of sends the message "I get my rocks off getting you mad, but I'm so above your situation I'm not ruffeled by your problem". This is what H A L, the computer on 2001 did. He would go into this monotone. He'd say things softly like "I can't do that", but there would be a stick behind it.

Some of you are wondering, "Who are the Centaurians"? One of the most Evil entities that Captain Piccard ever encountered in Startrek was in that "Skin of Evil" episode. This evil, black blob would go around taunting people with insults and threatening them and killing one of them. The only time he gets upset at a death is when they die too quickly and painlessly to give him the right amount of expected pleasure. Jesus on K F I has stated about Terry Shibo "Why can't she just be allowed to- - Be". You can pretty much take out "Be" and put in Suffer. Jesus represents a world where the only person who has rights and can't be interfered with is Satan, who by the way doesn't exist. (Self contradiction is a hallmark of these people) On Planet of the Apes there is a line spoken to Heston, "You may well regard this as an upside down world since you occupy its lowest rung". I look at these people, these Christians- - and I see something in comon with Planet of the Apes. The problem isn't that they aren't living up to their potential; the problem is that they are. Apes with their pea brain intelligence have to exercise every bit of dominence they can once, and if they ever get power. I guess the saying "If you had a brain you'd be dangerous" can apply to Christians. If they ever had power they'd be dangerous. Christians aren't above using computers to help them. Not by a long shot. That's just decades old P R. But I look at Christians and ask myself, "Where's the role model"? Which of any of these Christians I see, I ask myself honistly, would I ever want to emulate or model myself after? None of them? So many of them disgust me.

Who are the Centaurians and what do they want. Well you can pretty much guess a lot of it by what they say about their enemies- - OTHER spiritual entities that want to posess human bodies. There was a startrek episode where Liutennant Troy was their captain- - that is- the captain and three other convicts occupied peoples' bodies on an episode and they took over the Star Ship and wanted to head to the "south polar region" to free a bunch of convicts. What we know is that Demonic entities, or at least the maladjusted ones, want to live in our bodies. They have the fifth dimension to choose from. You've heard of one thousand sattalite channels- - well they have thousands of Universes to choose from- - many of them just like ours except we don't define them as "Real". They see a thousand different futures out there and can "pick" the future, ie. Universe they want. It's kind of like that software where sometimes you can get the program to do what you want if you re-allocate the dimensions. So Centaurians know the future of any human entity before they enter it. Sometimes they enter a mental patient, making a miscalculation. These Christian mental patients get disowned by the others because they aren't a success. Chuck Smith has defined the flesh is "Whatever ends in lack of success is a work of the flesh". Accordingly he also says "You can tell if it's a work of God because it will end up in success". You've heard of selling your soul to the devil for success. Well, here is the modas opperandi. These people WANT our petty four-dimensional lives! Of course, as we said in the next blog "Finding God" is connected with this success- - but SEEKING GOD does not CAUSE this success. You can seek God till the cows come home and have nothing. And here is the kicker. Chuck talks about "Living on the animal plane" if you're not saved, and only Christians can live on the "Higher plane" God intended. This statement is so false it's pathetic. Also, Jesus just outright lied when he told the parable about the woman and the judge and now prayer without ceasing finally brings results. No it doesn't. Jesus on KFI said this suffering we have now is so we'll appreciate how much better things are when Jesus comes back. As John Lennon said long ago "There ain't no Jesus gona come from the sky". This whole second coming thing is just a come-on for new recruits and outsiders. But far from being a higher dimension- -it is likely they now live in a LOWER dimension than they did. In terms of lusts of the flesh- -these people love the flesh and the pleasures of the flesh. That's why they're here. I've heard that Chuck Gerrard and the Love Song band had all sorts of sexual affairs with young women. The only people who are NOT repelled by their "virginity forever" teaching they all seem to have is people who are complete hypocrites to begin with. They have told me "Don't go with something good when you find it. Wait. God may have something better. God to these people, the way they present in, reminds me of another Star Trek episode where Mr. Data was forever in a "diagnostic mode" and couldn't answer any challenging questions or make needed decisions. God in terms of guiding my life seems permanently confused. There was once a Beverly Hillbillies episode where Jethro was asked by Jed to solve a problem and Jethro gets this glazed over look on his face and says "I got my powerful brain and six years ejecution working on it" and uncle Jed goes, "Yeah, well- - in the mean time- - - ". Of course I know these Christians are just bull-shitting me to death. Like saying "You don't want a wife or girlfriend because what if God asks you to go to India to be a missionary and you have a wife, it would be harder for you to pick up and go". Someone should ask them "Do you REALLY think God is going to call me to India or are you just Bullshitting me. Don't fear these people. They're jokers and losers.

In the old days when you referred to a "Computer" you spoke of human beings who spent their days calculating math tables. I guess today's computers don't just want to be "Work horses". We use them to have an Orwellian presence heating and lighting our homes. Luke Skywalker turned off his computer right before the key battle in the movie to blow up the death star. I guess many see God as "The force". I wish we had a "force" like that somewhere. My advice is to become a scientologist. That's the best way to improve yourself. Either that or T M.
