Don't Mess Me Over

Today I'd like to talk about politics and karma. As you know tomorrow is the long awaited election contest between Ned Le Mont and Joe Lieberman in Conneticut for the Senate. People say that Joe Lieberman is not a bad guy; he's voted 90% of the time for the democrats. Well, would you buy a food item labeled 90% non toxic? I wouldn't. It's not just Lieberman's politics but his karma that is coming into play here. In 1968 Hubert Humphrey got a reputation as being among the reactionary Establishment forces that was pro Vietnam war. They later claimed that Humphrey had tried to oppose Johnson at cabinent meetings but he was given dirty looks by LBJ and from then on kept his mouth shut. I don't know. But sometimes it's image that counts more than the specific detales. People are talking about the kiss seen round the world between Lieberman and Bush in early 2005. The Judas kiss. Lieberman has stated that to oppose the President on the war is to be unpatriotic. Lieberman has such an important state in the status quo or the Iraq war that he's willing to run as an independant and perhaps split the democratic vote insuring the loss of the senate seat to the Republicans. Really in these three way races you're kind of playing a voter roulette game. In 1992 Ross Perot as much as handed the Presidency to Bill Clinton by opposing George Bush even though, most likely, the same people who would go for Perot would go for Bush were Ross Perot not in the race. Just recently I downloaded a Beta version of a three dimensional graphics program. Sometimes there can be "unintended consequences" to an act. Often you will be drawing structures and when you shift the angles one of the structures is literally "up in the air" and you're wondering how it got that way. In like manner the results of a run-off election in Conneticut are literally "up in the air". You don't know what will happen is Lieberman opposes his party's choice and runs, assuming he loses tomorrow. I think we can all agree that a "good democrat" would support his party's choice regardless who it is, and is Liberman wins well, Thy will be done. Vote for Lieberman. But Joe Lieberman is nuts if he thinks Bill and Hillary Clinton are going to continue to support him in the November election if he loses. Don't mess the Democratic party over! That's my battle cry.

In terms of psychic karma it's like when you "Do" something you do it in dimensions you can see in the here and now, but also, like that program, you do it in the psychic realm, which is that unknown dimension that is difficult to measure right now. We have said the psychic dimension lacks "space as we know it" and that is true because "space" here lacks the psychic dimension, and to call space in the psychic dimension space is really a misnomer. For instance, two parrellel lines drawn fifty miles apart going north south on earth eventually will meet at the polls. But they are called parrellel "as we know it". It's like a virtual reality program where you move and you're not entirely sure how your corresponding "image" will move on the screen, or "in that other dimension". We have often stated that with God, words are "things". Words have a physical manifestation in the psychic dimension too. You better not work against the karma of your party or it's likely to come back on you in unexpected ways. Hubert Humphrey was never again politically relivent after the 1968 race, and he died within ten years. Sometimes you do something for the moment and screw yourself karmically. Lieberman needs to ask himself whether he'd prefer to be a Bush stooge, or a loyal democrat with the best interests of his party.

Hillary Clinton wants "The best campaign money can buy". You've heard the attage, "Money doesn't talk; it swares". Money is not important in the long run in politics. Integrety is. Purpose and conviction are. Principles are. If you make money your God you will have to serve that God, often forsaking the things you ought to love more for the sake of money. We don't need another John Kerry running for office. We don't want someone who speaks in such confused terms you don't know what the hell they really stand for. Hillary Clinton as of late seems to be separating herself from the President's policies on Iraq. Now a bunch of generals have come out and said we are heading headlong into a Civil War. Most of us know that we are already there; there's no "headed" about it. We have created this Frankenstein moster of Shiite Islam that extends in a northern crescent from Iran to Lebanon. Some say we should talk to Syria to try and break up the Shiite alliance. It may be too late. Our foreign policy has divided us at home but it has united our enemies, perhaps even ones in the past we formerly had a chance of making a deal with. John Kerry said we should run a "sensitive" foreign policy and he got booed for his statement. "Intelligent" and "Perceptive" are much better words. We need a master at both checker playing and chess playing. Chess is more a power game than checkers. Checkers is more of a tango where you take a step and your opponet takes a step. Bill Clinton's label as "The comeback kid" was a self dezignated title. He chose to call himself that and gamble whether anybody believed it. Sometimes in foreign policy you need the ability to bluff skillfully. As Sol Allinsky says, "You keep the game within your own strong points where you are fermiliar and keep the game so the enemy's weak points are constantly being exposed. That's how you win. You keep the game outside the enemies' realm of familiarity to keep him off guard.

"O H - N O , N O T - H I M - A G A I N !"

I had the Jesus Christ show on for one question. Jesus was asked that since there is so much suffering in the world and women being raped and people being bombed and beaten and bludgeoned and such, why don’t you hasten your return? Jesus said, “What makes you so special that God should focus in on your pain and ignore everybody elses from different centuries? God sees the past, present, and future all at once?” What I hate about this is that the man did not talk himself but rather the pain of the world. But Jesus’ model seems to be “Show apathy unto your neighbor as you do unto your self”. For every Jesus caller it’s “All about You” even if you speak only of others. This attitude comes from the fact that Jesus hates the human race and so anyone who defends it or speaks up on behalf of it is seen as “The enemy”. Jesus then said “There is a reason why there is so much suffering” and vaguely implied if we didn’t know what suffering was we wouldn’t know what Joy was- - and that the Joy is coming and yes, Jesus will be returning and everything will be wonderful then. The man upon hearing Jesus answer said “Well if there is a purpose for it (suffering) then will it go on forever?” Jesus never said WHAT the purpose was. Perhaps it is an evil purpose. We know that suffering is not to purge or perfect our souls, because Jesus did that all on the cross. You will search in vain for a scripture that goes “After we die it will all make sense and all of our questions about the world and God’s will will be answered”. It was, in fact, some preacher that said that after we die, God does a lobotomy job on us and we don’t remember anything in this life that is painful”. Those who quote the proverb “Life is like a vapor” seem to be saying that “The purpose of this life is pointless”. Jesus himself on other occasions many times has said, “The doctrine of Last Things is best studied last”, so we know Jesus doesn’t place importance on it. Jesus did not SAY, “God takes note of your suffering and gives you brownie points”. Further more, our suffering cannot be on account of sin because Jesus paid the price necessary for saving the whole world on the cross. If we are not saved it isn’t because we have sin, for we have already been baught on the Pearl of great Price. Rather it’s a case of “Jesus just doesn’t want us”. In like matter the fact that Jesus did healings might be considered immaterial, seeing Jesus’ true feelings about suffering and the human condition. It’s not that he can’t intervene to help us; he just won’t”. At the end of the program Jesus got a call on Athiesum and Jesus was asked “If an atheist sees you coming in the clouds, won’t he then become a believer and so then you will have to save him?” The answer is no. And Jesus repeated his notion that nobody is an atheist for rational or intellectual reasons, but only for emotional reasons. He talked about seeing God in nature, not remembering that “Satan is Lord of this World” and Christians regard the World as evil. But if I were to guess what is motivating the Jesus Christ show to be on the air I’d say he was coming from a place of either apathy or hate, and not of Love”. We can deduce things not seen from the things we are shown, and all Jesus “shows” are hate and apathy.

MORE OBSERVATIONS ON WAR

Today August 6, 2006 is the fortieth anniversary of Aug. 6th. 1966, the date in that Time Machine movie that World War III began in England. I remember seeing the movie on TV during my sophomore year, before that date had occurred. Of course it’s also Herishima day. I guess you could say that inventing the Atom Bomb was “raising the price of Poker”, as Dr. Phil might say. It’s just a good thing that our side invented it first or none of us might be here now. It’s just too bad America couldn’t keep solo possession of the knowledge a lot longer than we did.

People are talking about peace keeping U N troops in Lebanon. I don’t think either side wants peace now. If Hez Ballah did they would stop lobbing rockets. They were told if they attacked Tel Aviv the War would be vastly escalated. I guess it’s a question of how accurate their rockets are because I suspect they WANT to hit Tel Aviv. They’re like a child who is going to do the one thing he was told NEVER to do merely to test the parent’s resolve. “Touch Tel Aviv and thousands of innocent Lebanese will die”, type of thing. We could be seeing the start of a much more major conflict than I envisioned a few weeks ago. From my own perspective there are so many unknowns so as not to permit any sort of predictions, only that Isrial appears to have the enemy out gunned and out planed. We’ve talked about this before. If one side lives for death and wants death- - and not even their own death but that of an innocent third party, how do you deal with a situation like that?
