You Can't Get There From Here

Certain things in this life are just impossible. Intrinsically impossible. Going back into the past to relive anything is intrinsically impossible. It will never happen. We've been hearing a lot about the past lately. How would you like to go back to August 12th. 1981. Well, you could look at that Persius metior shower, but you can do that every year. You can have one of the first P C's ever made, but who would want one? Back in August 1981 Ronald Reagan was an untried comodity and he didn't yet have that aire of invincability he later got when the economy turned around. Back then the Moral Majority was only three years ago. Pioneers like Howard Jarvis and his tax revolt of 1978, and Anita Bryant, and Jerry Folwell were the ones who got it going. It's hard to imagine an era when there were no cell phones as we know them now. There were no CD's, everything was on vynal LP's, and there was no AIDS. This is also the 25th. anniversary of discovery of the AIDS virus. But going back to the past is intrinsically impossible. Everything we know about the past are from things written down or recorded on tape or film or in our memories. But just think. To have a memory of a past event out brain cells had to make a permanent record of the event which changed the chemistry of our cells. If the present physical nature of our brain cells wasn't altered, we would have no memory. You can't go back to the past as the four dimensional reality we all live in. Five dimensional reality, yes, but not four. It's just a cosmic mystery whey were "trapped" in this moving fourth dimensional plane. Scientists tell us time is real, but we're trapped in one moment of it.

You may have played with those digit puzzles as a kid where you slide the checkered red and white numbers around to either make a checker pattern or to get all the numbers go in consecutive order. But occasionally there are puzzles that have been Altared- - and someone has fixed the numbers so that doing things which were formerly easy are now impossible. I didn't believe that till it happened to me.

Of course most people saybeing gay is a life sentense. Homosexuals can't help the fact that they are attracted to their own sex. Some say it's the way their brains are constructed. I guess it's sort of like being left-handed. Certain people are just wired a certain way. I've heard that just about any effort to turn a gay into a straight person is doomed to failure.

There should be a philosophy of "What is real". Certain things like religion appear to be Rational or at least hypothetical- - but it doesn't match the real world. If you asked a person which set of numbers was real- - Rational or Irrational, most people would give you the wrong answer. Rational numbers are abstractions. They don't exist in the physical world. They exist in some metaphysical world but not the real one. That's because you can never get exactly one half or one third or three fifths of anything. Error always creeps in. It's irrational numbers that are real. They can also be called Analog numbers. That's easier to remember.

There are things called imaginary numbers. They aren't real either. Square roots of negative numbers are imaginary numbers. They don't exist. Any number you can dream of without some componet in the real world lacks "reality" as one of it's properties.

I've seen drawn mazes where there is no way to get through. On a Star Trek show when they had that teenage Borg called "Hew" on, they were going to place in his brain for the hive to solve some hypothetical geometric figure who's mystery was inherently unsolvable. Each proposed solution would have certain anomolies, which in tern would spawn other anomallies. This enigma would be taken back to the hive, which would exhaust themselves trying to solve it. Some aspects of religion are like this. Obcession is said to be striving for something you can't have. At one time before 1984 the "strings" theory of subatomic matter was considered a non working theory because all of the formulas had "anomallies" and no scientist would take these people seriously till these animalies were worked out.

Recently I tried to register with Napster. The trouble is they said I was already registered and would every time reject my application. I could try to sign in as a member. Once I tried this and forgot my password and so asked Napster for it, and they sent it to me. The only thing is once I used it, once again they said I wasn't registered. I was clearly in a place, "You can't get there from here. Clearly this problem is most manifest in solitaire card players. The whole problem of the game is when you fail it's a case of "You can't get there from here". Perhaps this is why certain people can't find mates. All the mates are under the wrong pile.

Some may question whether any man can reach God or not. Jesus answers that question. He said, "With man this is impossible". Jesus also said "No one comes to God unless the spirit draws him" and again "The s;irit places in our hearts to will and to do". John Calvin said man is totally depraved and there is nothing man can do to save himself. Calvin also taught, "Any man who is Destined to be saved, Will be saved". This is the doctrine of irrestable grace. Some may think it's a matter of "Trying just a little harder". Perhaps if I'd tried a little harder with that pastor who was such an asshole I would have succeeded and made my point and resolved the problem between us". People think in terms of "woulda, coulda, shoulda" but the reality was that with each conversation I was only making things worse. I have a thirty year track record as a Christian and all the heathen know I'm a Christian by what I say and how I act and express myself due to teaching. It's only the Christians who doubt my spirituality. One time on October 2nd. 1987 I prayed to resolve certain tensions in my domestic living situation and I said "Do anything- no matter what it takes". The answer to that prayer was a bigger disaster than I'd ever imagined and things were much worse, if clearer, than they were before. The thing is I can decide what I will do but I can't make others, and that includes God love me. If a twenty five year track record (we're going from March 1976 to June 2001) is not enough for God to prove my worthiness I don't know what is. Christians seem not to care whether they have any of the spiritual gifts of God. Let's assume Christianity is really demonic. It would be they don't have any of the Spiritual gifts listed in the Bible (none of them seem to) because mericles are the one thing Satan can't synthisize. A good spiritual advisor might say to an individual, "Who you need to consult is someone with over twenty years experiance with God, and someone with a good prophetic track record, and someone who has proved themself relyable and who isn't going to be a flake". If it were me seeking someone I'd seek myself, for I am the best qualified. My prophetic record is better than any of theirs. I think I could show them evidence over thirty years of this but it wouldn't matter. Their retort is, "Sometimes Satan can duplicate the gifts of God". I take issue with that last remark. They themselves while denying there is an office of prophet (Walter Martin) will nevertheless talk about "Prophesying in faith". "Faith" in this case meaning bullshit. If "they" prophesy wrongly, that's OK. If you have a long track record of being right, that means nothing to them. Trying to "get God to accept you" or get other Christians to accept you is also a vain pursuit. If you venture to say, "I have done thus and so for God" they will say "Humans can do nothing without God's help" and "God does not honor works of the flesh". If Queen Elizabeth was really a life-long virgin, as is said, God wouldn't honor that either. If I say "I haven't had sexual intercourse with a woman in ten years", God is not in the least bit impressed. Jesus on KFI says you can be saved by "Going to church" on Sunday. People say "Giving up a besetting sin of the flesh brings you closser to God", but when I conquered alcohol I saw clearly how pointless God and prayer and Christianity were. I think a lot of you out there are smarter than me. It doesn't take you twenty-five years to discover that Christianity is useless.

There are other machenations of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes in deciding "Where you can go from here- - and where you can't, you have to go back to older discarded theories". It is said you can know that you know something. Or you can know that you Don't know something. It's also possible to not Know that you Don't know something. A lot of Christians are like this as is the attage "Living is easy with eyes closed - - misunderstanding all you see". On the Jesus show, if you identify a fellow caller, you're a bad person, because the human race is bad and if you're identifying with their problems you must be "one of them", ie. bad, or damned from the foundation of the earth. If you question the "personal bias" of any Gospell writer- - you are condemned because they are "annointed of God". But if you yourself ever question the machinations and motives of other Christians, you are told "Oh you're doing this out of corrupt motives". Keep in mind Bible teaching isn't to learn. Not for a pod-Christian, because they're born perfect. Most people faze into a hypnotic state during Bible lessons and when you want to talk to them about it later, they couldn't care less. It's also possible to Know, and yet not Know that you know it. Now we're talking about my discarded theory of the Pod people. I in the past have felt Christians were space alien brain implants. We call them Centaurians, which is a half man half horse creature. There is a saying "Christianity is caught - not taught". It is also true that "Christians are born not made". Sleeping night after night in a garage won't turn you into a car, even if you smell like one. Being born again changes you into another species. We have spoken about the lizzard hatching from the egg and knowing immediately to swim tword the water before he can be eaten. This lizzard is without guidance of mother or father. The Bible says in John "You have no need that any man teach you". Bible teaching and sermons are not to teach the Christian. If anything it's to scare off outsiders. Because another addage of ours "Christians don't grow". This is a misnomer. If I can think like the Holy Spirit for a moment they're looking for "new blood" sort of like a vampire. Trying to "target" a new recruit can be tricky. It's like a gay looking for an impressionable teenager. They say teenagers do crazy things like join the Army or accept Christ because the reasoning portion of their brains isn't fully developed yet. Time can be of the essence. They're always saying "NOW - do it now. This appeal to precipitus action is no accident. This would be a pedophile's dream if children didn't grow- - and grow out of things- - like religion or pedophelia, but they do. I once knew a guy we'll call Jim Klein, who was a friend of Pete Richards. On Thanksgiving weekend of 1970 I was out with Jim and Pete at a bowling alley and we had a nice time. The first week in January 1971 I ran into Jim Klein again. Now he had become a Born Again Christian and the difference in his personality was night and day. He had become one of the Pod People, making all of these ponthical remarks about the John Lennon album, with the abrasiveness of a fifty year old man. Of course you can tell when a Christian is lying. When you see their lips move. They will tell you when you aren't like all the other pod people, "Well it isn't based on feeling". It sure the hell is. It's based on other things too but if you're at one of these marithon ponthical prayer gatherings and you know the Holy Spirit is creaping in- - - you feel trapped. Prayer isn't to get prayers answered but to put on a good show. And you know how people with the Holy Spirit become egomaniacs and float five feet off the air. When you become a born again reptile- - excuse me- - Christians some key events occur. And a non elect "Can't get there from here". It's not just how you feel but "things" start occuring around you. You start getting those "Important breaks" like in Rosemary's baby". Pete Richards got into a much better Christian band. One that wasn't strung out on dope and had a real Future. People looked to Pete as some religious authority. I saw all of these "Things" occur. It's a sin to covet things others have. I know that. But that's what Evangelists do all the time. They say "Look how God has blessed me" and start ratteling off blessings". A Jesus Freak's prayer should be, if they're honist- - be "I thank God I'm not like Marcus Arelius". Of course Christians can get downright Hindu on you saying "Well- - you are on a different' path from God than your neighbor". Yeah- - it's a No Blessings path. But as ive said before if you're a Pod person, the Blessings are an intrinsiac part of the package along with the altared feelings about reality. Another say in which Christians lie is saying "Well, if God blessed you with anything he knows your heart and knows you would only squander his blessings on glory for yourself". They're talking about themselves. This whole thing about some people, even mass murderers, get the Glory and get it right away while others are treated like Crap- - and I could point to many examples of myself and others- - - this doesn't bother any of them. When did one of them ever offer me a Job and there have been so many times when I needed one. I've been tempted to say "As you people did it unto me- - Jesus did it unto me". Throughout all this- - as K F I's Jesus illustrates- - you can't ever say "Satan is giving you problems" because we all know Satan does not exist. When Jesus had quoted "Deliver us from the Evil one", Jesus couldn't face that translation. He felt very unconfortable with it. Here's something else p;eople feel unconfortable with. "The work of the so called Holy Spirit is really the work of Demonic activity". (Selah) It scares them because they sense it's true. What they attribute to the Enemy, they are guilty of themselves.
